    Default Kinnectimals iOS ball games problem

    Hi,
    I'm playing the game (or my daughter is) and find that after about 10-20 minutes play on the game the cub stops (any cub and any ball) playing with the ball. It walks to the left hand side of the screen looking left and freezes. The ball does not appear. I've tried deleting the save but it seems that the only way to get around this problem is to reinstall the game losing her progress.
    I am able to stop the ball game and go back to petting the dog or skipping rope but my daughter prefers the ball game.

    Is there a workaround, a fix or an update due to fix this, as it makes the building up the character pointless.

    I'm running the game on a 16gb iPad 3 Wifi, if it helps.

    Try shutting the game down completly as described in your other thread and then restart the game. Does that solve the issue?

    Default Restarting

    Ive tried shutting down altogether. (double home and close).
    Straight away the cub freezes when I try ball games.
    The only way to get it to work is to uninstall then reinstall. Something seems to be persisting after the game closes.

    We've reproduced it here so we will investigate a fix and then speak to Microsoft about releasing an update to fix the problem.

    From our tests so far it looks like it only effects iOS version 5.1, is that the version you are running?

    Whatever the latest iOS version is for the iPad 3.

    We're now nigh on two months down the line since the problem was reported.
    No update, no info on the site.
    Can I request an update on when the update will be released.
    It's poor form that the game was released in the first place with such a bug found after 5 minutes of playing and worse that it seems that the game has now been forgotten.

    May I suggest an update or supply me a refund.

    The problem was caused by the iOS 5.1 update which was not available when the game launched. We have prepared a fix and it is currently with Microsoft so they can release an update.

    Unfortunately not, it's been approved so just needs to go through their release process. I don't know how long that will take, I would guess at a week or two.
