How to get to Wither Falls or Forgotten Chamber when I'm stuck @ Blossom Grove? HELP!

I'm done. Finally! After finding how I got stuck on the second chest, I finished the entire rest of the game in less than two hours. Craziness!

I just started playing LostWinds (and with my current level of addiction, it looks like I'll need to get the next chapter).

I've been following a walkthrough to be sure I get all the stuff and some idea of the right order, but I'm getting stuck trying to get past the Meadows.
To get into the mine from the Meadows, I'm supposed to climb two rock towers (the second one has a feeding station) and jump across to a clearing above the mine entrance. Somehow, I can't make the jump.

Here your instruction:

Travelling to the Mines
(5– The meadows )
The entrance back into the cave is at the top let side of the meadows. To reach this point climb on top of the pillars of rock that are over the river, then leap off the left side and onto the higher platform.
Proceed into the cave.

Is my wind technique a little off? I'm using an iPod Touch (late model) with a Zagg shield on the display. Could the Zagg shield be slowing it down?

I've replied in more detail to your thread about this, but I think you just need to start with a running jump.

The running jump did the deal! I set auto-walk early on, then gusted to the top of the first tower, then the next (still auto-walking), then gusted over the edge.
