Major Lag In Big Park

I need help! I've been working on a park for awhile and as it gets bigger it keeps getting slower and slower... Is there anything I can do to my computer to help fix this? It is also IMPOSSIBLE to play in night mode... Is there an official fix for this for the digital download of platinum yet?

Moved to the support forum.

There's a few things you can try:

1. In the in game options set the shadows to static.

2. Also set the blend option to off.

3. Run the game at a lower detail setting and resolution.

4. Using the scenario editor you can set the park opening times so that it is not open at night (I appreciate this is not an ideal solution).

Unfortunately there is no fix for the downloadable version, all of the updates apply to the disk versions only, and you need either the RCT3 or Wild disk to play.
