Default What games are you playing at the moment.

I've been struggling of late to find any games that really hook me in. The last one I played was Mass Effect which I enjoyed tremendously. At the moment I've been keeping myself entertained with Flight Sim X but that is slowly getting tired as beautiful as it can be.

So, what have you guys been playing and what's been keeping your attention of late?

I loved Mass Effect, can't wait until the next one is released

I've been playing InFamous as of late, which is quite entertaining. Next up I'll be bashing through the new Riddick game, as I missed out on playing Escape from Butcher Bay when it was first released for xbox.

Isn't that just a re-hash of the original with a few updates to the grapics and story line? I never played the original so I may well have to give this one a look in. Looks very atmospheric!

Yeah they updated the graphics and made a few tweaks here and there. It also comes with an entirely new campaign, so it's effectively two games in one box.

yeah i loved mass effect too. i'm currantly playing fallout 3 which i just adore. even though i finished the quests ages ago i cant leave it alone. its a great game to just waste time on. just started a new character to play the evil route, my main good character has around 115hours playtime and theres still plenty of things i havnt done yet! now thats good value for money compaired to many games that come out these day and can be finished in about 5 hours! plus theres a new dlc coming out next week

We have very similar tastes! Mass Effect is just superb (I'm tempted to find the time to go and get to level 60). And some evenings I find the time to Flight Sim X it. (Went down the Amazon a few weeks back in a thunder storm, that was good fun).

As for what I'm playing now. It's mainly the new Battlefield 1943 game on the 360. And I must admit, I'm quite hooked on 1 vs 100.....well, was hooked, for a bit.

I'm looking forward to the new Operation Flashpoint game - I have that on pre-order.

Nothing on the pc at the moment, mainly because the currant one not capable of playing any games on.

Played the orignal Butcher Bay game just a couple of months ago an enjoyable game,I always like the stealthy type of games like Hitman and Splinter Cell.

Not got to play Mass Effect or Fall out 3 on the pc because of the damn DRM on the pc versions.
look's like I will just have to get a 360.

Oh and Combat Mission 2 and 3 on the PC. I play that so often I forgot, its just part of my auto pilot mornings these days. Check emails, do my move on Combat Mission, make a cup of coffee.

And Spacegamer, get a 360 yeah! They're brill.

Heh I just bought an XBOX 360 off eBay for £30 - it has the Red Rings of Death - apparently there is a good chance that the problem is down to the bad seating of the heat sinks and application of thermal paste - if it works it'll be a CHEAP 360, if not then people seem to be quite happy to buy them off eBay broken or not.

I don't know if anyone remembers the Front Mission Games published by Square in the late 90s for the Playstation. They were Mecha based RPG games - killed stacks of time on those.

Bargain if you can get it to work.

Only Played Front Mission 3 on the ps1,great game iirc it has some sort in game internet you
could log onto between mission to find better weapons.

If you not played it I would recommend commandos 2
