    It does seem somewhat overlooked. Its a great multirole ship, can be awesome in PvP and useful as a trader particulary since it can be engineered to be really quick thats good for combat and if people want to do cgs in open since it will outrun most other ships. The only downside is it cant dock at outposts

    Missions need to be tailored to us from our history- since technically I've killed millions of people I don't expect to be offered humanitarian aid missions, not unless we get autogenerated text that takes this into account..."we would offer you aid missions, but I know you'd only kill them, commander" type stuff. Conversely, I'd expect dictators and communists to love me and give me lots of wetwork since I'm that type of chap.

    This is 100% my point. I love the game and want to be involved in the events. I found by the time I got a ship prepped and go to said event, it was pretty much over. I agree with other posts that certain other aspects of the game can be done by jumping on and off - exploring for example. However if you want to get involved in the actual game, time is a major barrier. I started engineers and such a major time sink. I wondered if any aspects could be optional sped up.

    Of course, it all banks on being able to free fall or "stall" in supercruise. Otherwise, a black hole could just tug on your vector, so it always tries to align you with its centre, and get stronger the closer you get, and effect your minimum speed, pulling you in faster as you get closer. I made a big old suggestion in the suggestions section.

    Hey there ! Is there gonna be a correction (or a new one even) for the so called "Pulse blue" paintjob which is actually cyan ? There are matching colors for engines and weapons with all the other colors BUT blue. Also many players like to create Police themed ships where this way of coloring would come in handy. At least maybe change the name of the existing color from blue to cyan, since this is quite misleading. Hopefully i can buy some pulse blue soon ;)

    I don't mind npcs having upgrades, it makes sense if players have them otherwise there would not be a challenge for some. but it doesn't need Engineers at all. + Rep for the support and for the official reply quote, which is interesting information. PS npc seem even tougher in beta 2.4 ... so far :eek:

    My exploration conda can get to 57.5 ly but that is a worry for landing on high g world and has no srv etc. With better thrusters, shield, srv and slf it stands at 52ly which feels good. I know a Cmdr with 61ly jump range though. Not sure how useful it is other than for jumping though.

    While I like some of your ideas... I also like the way it works right now. There have been many, many times, when I have re-configured my ship, to be able to take a certain mission, in the unavailable missions section for instance. So, if I never saw those missions, then... well it would suck for me. It's one of the reasons I like to use a multipurpose ship, I can swap modules out easily enough without it totally crippling the ships ability.

    As a non PvP player I really don't care but why not: Repair requires shields to be off and speed at zero ( that should stop someone in a combat zone trying to repair ) All synthesis requires power, so shields are dropped and hardpoints retracted ( again this makes you a sitting duck in a combat zone ).

    Another great feature that will go live missing essential parameters. Cannot ask nicely anymore for missing must haves. Get the bloody adjustable waypoints in the live version fdev. I know it has to go through your one million departments and one hundred offices, and ofc have to rewrite half the games code. Get it done.

    Yes, on my end i can confirm a slight increase in clarity but more important: a performance boost. In the alien ruins or thargoid sites i was running on the edge with my 1070, had to tone down surface render settings sometimes, now in 2.4 beta the higher settings work smooth like a charm. Quite happy!

    Fair play Avago don't blame you. The remain echo chamber is the loudest on social media I've ever found! Everything is the UK's fault, whilst burying there head in the sand about the reality of the EU. Remain moan about the Tories is as laughable as it is tragic, the EU is about as tory as it gets with bells on. Not everything is rosy on the brexit side either of course, there is obviously hard/far right nutters that get the handlines, bumbling tories in charge of the negotiations etc. etc. Brexit won't be easy nobody thought that it would, the EU don't want other member states leaving so it will play hardball. Down the line though it will work out give it 10 years. The EU has probably about the same timeframe, if France lurches further to the right it could be over in five (hope not by the way!).     Unlikely since you can now sell your ships as part of the rebuy screen. However, if you do not have enough assets and/or cash I suspect it would be the same situation as when you go bankrupt... you get a loan which results in all pay-outs being reduced by 10% until the debt is paid off.

    The trouble with this is assets. If you do a custom design and apply it to your ship, when am I supposed to download it so I can see it? When you spawn in my instance, if so does my game pause to download your asset? Does it have a placeholder until my game client thinks it's a convenient time to download it? Deliver all player designs as a daily update, the game would get huge fast... There's only one way around this and it's something that a few games have done in the past, they give you a 'Paint' type interface, with specific assets, solid triangles, hollow triangles, curves, etc, so that everyone has a set of base assets and all customizations are a variation on those assets of varying complexity. Grand Theft Auto online Crew avatar designer is a good example of this, and it does work well, some crews have amazing logos built from these basic shapes.     Anyway I'd just turn the whole thing off. Maybe an alternative would be being able to visit the Engineer (as now) only having achieved some goal. Then you are able to buy an upgrade of know performance. Possibly several of same type each with advantages/disadvantages. The only difference being you could choose which to have. To get higher grade updates, there should be further missions for each engineer, not just upgrading with them, which can be achieved fairly easily at present. (in 2.3) I think I'd do away with the collecting of things to get an upgrade, its kind of pointless as I have used up my 1,000 units worth of storage and now frankly they're just a management nightmare. You keep them because you might need them to visit an engineer, but realistically they are just a list of stuff cluttering you right-hand display screen.
