    . Hehe. Yea, tastes differ. But the biggest advantage of the multi-guild system is to distribute the burden. In the classical model, you might have a guild which is into raiding, but not into PvP. Or vice versa. Or you have one which is into both, but short on roleplay, which disqualifies it for my wife. . Here I can mix and match. Guilds often are more focused. The leader of a PvP guild cares for PvP only, organizes PvP things, etc. When he wants to go raiding, he's just a member of another guild. So he doesn't have the whole burden of organizing and leading raids at the same time. . I've seen way too many guild leaders burn out over the years. The guild wanted more and more. With only one guild available, the guild had to cover all aspects of the game, which often also became more with every expansion. So the leaders had to be knowledgeable and competent in all aspects of the game and had to organize everything. (While often also having a limited number of officer slots, so delegation also was...

    Maybe the more practice you do in something, the better you get at it? So, for example, you practice your "hand-brake turns" and you earn experience doing it (both in real life and in the game). After a while you "level up" and you get a 1% boost to that skill, so you can do a "hand-brake turn" 1% faster, or something like that. Whilst your skill goes up because you get better at it, you also get rewarded with a permanent in-game stat increase, however, you can still do the hand-brake turn badly where that 1% won't mean anything; so you would still be required to play properly. The percentages could be small, but rewarding enough to make a visible difference. Pilots would be encouraged to "git gud" - or, I hope they would. ... ... Ah, who am I kidding, the salt would be unreal. :P Dunno; just running that off the top of my head.

    Sheeple, sheeple, please... Squardons are not guilds or clans. Guilds are for skilled craftsmen, like the Mason’s Guild, or the Cartographer’s Guild. Clans are for cave bears, the Scots or Irish. Squadrons are for pilots. And we don’t know anything about how they work yet, so restrain your herding instincts until they’re released.

    In retrospect, there were critical flaws in the plan. I mean, first off, we've got great pilots - for a small, indepedant faction in our corner of space - but the Federal fleet's flock of Core Dynamics ships and well-honed training program shouldn't have been underestimated. Then, we overlooked that our target happened to control every spaceport within jump distance once we arrived, so we couldn't refuel or re-arm. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, we were counting on a local uprising, when 90% of the system inhabitants work for their navy. Not great math on our part. Ah, the best laid plans...

    Go to Inara>fleet in the right upper corner tou will see "import journal" try that, but ; Journal .log files import The journal import will update most of your stuff like credits, reputation, fleet, ship loadouts, cargo, etc. in your CMDR profile easily. There are few limitations, though. Please see the list below. Current limitations: The engineer reputation/standings are updated just on a change during the session, because there is no general information about standings in the journal on the session start. Please set the initial state manually in the Ranks and reputation. The complete fleet is updated just when visiting some station's shipyard in the game. Also, the ship details and loadout are updated just when the ship was flown (on the session start or ship swaps). The import script is doing its best to identify the proper ship in your fleet when the internal gameID is missing, but it may be difficult sometimes. Try to help it by using the same ship names/idents as are in the game. ...

    I'm not against the idea. The only thing I would say is that I have been to the far side of the galaxy. Twice. And at the moment there is almost literally nothing out there that you can't find within a relatively short distance of the bubble sadly. So I'm not sure this is worth it at the moment because I think some people would be quite disappointed with what they found at the other end. If that changed though and we discovered a whole new bubble of alien civilisation or something cool over there then hell yeah, count me in!:D

    Humnnnn.. I know I still have all the default "targeting keys set", and I have them bound to the top keys on my X3DPro. Normally though I use VA commands to select/change targets. Wonder if being in GUNNER is blocking the VA commands like it blocks them for the Chaff and the KWS. Wonder if I can test this out on skimmers without causing then to go hostile and start shooting at me..

    I've got to Deadly. I don't go anywhere near Compromised Nav Beacons or Haz Res thingys. I just wander about battering things that annoy me. It's taken me about a month to get to 11%. To be honest I'm not really bothered about bumping up my status. It just happens.
