Ok but you still lose a bunch of your most powerful ammo, and the corrosive can be on any size.

Nah. After two hours flying the Phantom my opinion is that it handles just fine. I wouldn't mind it's SC agility being a tad better, but it feels slightly better than the MkII does, which is to say it's a fun ship to fly. The Asp X flies a bit better, but not enough to really matter to me.

Yes and no. No, ship jump-range didn't change my perception of distances that much. Yes, the perception of distance changes after jumping a few thousand times while exploring the galaxy. 10-100 jumps are now "right around the corner".

Yep I'm seeing lots of the ghost blue blobs too. They actually seem to go away in you exit and re-enter the FSS sometimes. It's been reported, so Fdev knows about them.

So, what you're saying is the never before done, best evar MVP gameplay of SC will be people visiting places and saying: "Remember when Roberts said we'd be able to do all this stuff here?" "Yeeaaah...that was awesome!" "Let's so somewhere else where Roberts said we'd be able to something!" "Hey! I think I see where we were supposed to have Sandworms!" "Let's go and remember how great that was going to be!"

With the lifted module restrictions and invisible scanner modules the Dolphin starts to look more interesting on the other hand.

I tested it, as I said before, the appearance of the cabin is beautiful, I liked the firepower and the speed but it has no maneuver, it is heavy, locked, slow for maneuvers, so I could keep it looking like this but reduce the size and improve her maneuver! in addition to heating easily! tested with Dirty 5 engine on the engine!

I.S. are found in low security systems. I the security of the system goes up then the I.F. will vanish untill the low sec. status returns (or doesn't).

Nope Now there are 42 regions to explore that must be their own regions for a reason..... And now with the FSS and the Probes, I have a better chance of finding something from the few Volcanics I have managed so far

Did ZP just dig up a bunch of the terrible deathtrap building cladding material from the 21st century.... and make a ship out of that?

+1 for Shields. Especially if you haven't been on an expedition before or been part of a large instance with other commanders. One of the things that happens sometimes (often) is that you or another commander can be invisible to some or all other players in the instance. I've seen ships come in and land on top of other ships because they can't see the ship below them. I've seen an invisible SRV crash into a group of other SRVs and I've been talking with another commander on discord who could see my ship and was right in front of me but I could not see him. This makes you think twice about flying fast near a group of other ships. You never know when there might be an invisible ship right in front of you. Despite Fleetcomm rules, it's not uncommon for players to come into the landing zone hot or even deliberately doing fast and low flyovers with their ship or SLF. I've also seen players firing ship weapons into the air or into the ground in the middle of a meeting circle. Remote release flak cannons...

Thanks for looking into it. I got another lightning crash while fighting a Basilisk. I think it's safe to say it's a problem common to all interceptors.

Yep I've spent two hours with the Phantom now and it flies great to me. Not as nimble as the Asp X but a tad better than the Krait MkII so it's still fun to fly. Fracking fine exploration ship this Phantom is. :D

For me, yes. Once you've been to Sag A and back, everything feels closer. 200 jumps? Don't blink!

I run a fuel scoop on both my jump ships, a diamondback and an orca. My main Corvette has a class four or five fuel tank so that I can hunt anywhere within my attention span. Just remember that you can't supercharge your fsd without a fuel scoop. I'd forgotten that little fact once, spent ages at a neutron star breaking all the bits on my ship before my buddy reminded me lol.

There are two here issue really. 1) Step zoom, that's often useful for seperating out these objects, but it doesn't work on the first level for some reason, you have to be zoomed in at least once already for it to work so objects that are to close to the star in the first level FSS screen can't be seperated using step zoom. 2) Objects behind other objects can't be zoomed in on. Now space is big and planets are small, so it's not often it happens, but if they are perfectly lined up it's a problem. This is usually a proble with the primary star, I just exit out of FSS and fly away a bit so the stars a lot small then you can usually do it, otherwise the other option is to fly up out of the orbital plane where these hidden objects can be easily resolved. It's an extra step in scanning a system and takes a bit more time but it does work, I haven't had an object I can't eventually resolve.
