The kickstarter is the epitome of money-making strategies. You appeal to your fanbase by making lofty promises and they throw money at you, and they don’t get that money back if said promises aren’t delivered. I thought it seemed somewhat sleazy for a well-established game company to stoop to that level. Still not as bad as charging $10k for a ship, like a certain other game does...

Several weeks ago I began the thorough survey of Col 173 Sector YX-Q a25-0 1, the smallest world within the Col 173 “forest” of Brain Trees (according to EDSM). The body is a High Metal Content World with a radius of 263 km. It took me around 25 hours to survey the entire surface of that world, which I did off and on over a period of roughly 2 months (lots of Thargoid combat in between). The purpose of my survey was to add to the body of evidence regarding the distribution of Brain Trees on a body’s surface, especially in relation to ejecta craters and their ejecta lines. I surveyed the entire surface with Nostalgia for Infinity, a heavily engineered Imperial Eagle with a top cruising speed of 650 m/s. I used the equatorial technique to conduct the survey in a east-to-west fashion as illustrated below. It should be noted that this time around I used the mouse to help me maintain a straight heading. The mouse settings I used are shown below. It’s difficult to understate the convenience of...

The quote on EDSM is player speculation, not anything official from in-game or official out-of-game sources.

I agree; G5 dirty drag drives is absolutely necessary. The difference in performance is like night and day. I love my T-10, and haven't flown anything else since getting it engineered up.

Well engineered anacondas don't die in 15 seconds, friend. Not without some serious pilot error.

Not True, they have their servers in Amazon and when thousands of Cmdrs are logged on and playing everything slows to glue speed, with loss of connections, etc. Mate you obviously have never experienced a Very Busy Weekend in ED Land then?

As it applies to engineered PvP, pretty much, yes. If it's going to be a combat ship, make it a combat ship. If it's a freighter, make it a freighter.

Ничего там не будет больше, просто материалы нужны будут такие же, как для низшего грейда. Формулировка - это в смысле "если вы еще не сделали, можете сделать это немного подешевле".

If it was true, FD would not need Kickstarter to finance initial game. They wanted to do on their own terms, one of them included being more sim like game than arcade one.

Since JWE is better than JPOG I think you will be able to do a bit more than what you described. Though the islands already look good. You don't have a whole island though, just an area on it to build your park.

Well...I don´t care either where or how people spend their money as long as they want to spend money exactly on that certain thing but problem here is that we possibly have example of deception.......many people that get into the SC are been deceived to believe in something totally different.....look you will be angry if you order that old&obsolete thing that you desperately want but instead of that you receive some Chinese new-age stuff that you never cared about.....

To be fair, lot of people have left ED for lot of different reasons. It is not really empirically based move, more of encouragement and marketing really.

Colonia Dream and Whirling Station between them will cover probably 80-90% of it, and are pretty close together. After that, Colonia Hub, Robardin Rock, and TolaGarf's Junkyard will have almost all the rest, with only Robardin being a significant journey if the bit you were missing was the FSD... It's relatively easy to make money quickly in Colonia if you need it, once you've got a bunch of Allied statuses, so you can cover the cost of transferring anything up to about an FDL pretty quickly (certainly you can make the money back while waiting for it to be transferred) Whirling Station looks like it will produce all A-rated core components in Viper III size, but not necessarily all at the same time - it's short a couple at the moment.
