Thanks ;) But i would add 20% more damage and 1.5km faloff for Plasma Chargers and maybe reduced the spread for Large Shards by 20%, so they could really compete with Gauss. I only used one 4D GMRP. The rest is 6A Prismatic, 7A+2x6A SCB's, 5D Hangar and tons of HRP.

The idea is to change that. Mods would be presenting the questions, sift out the salty posts and forward the reasonable questions.

Here's the thing - not everyone is keen on SRVs, either. They say there's no real gameplay and collecting rocks is busy work. I disagree, because I get a kick out of driving on a planet's surface and not just buzzing it in a ship, but some would have argued to not bother with buggies back when talk of them was released and focus on "core gameplay" instead (or alternately, "fix all bugs first"). I'm sure there are people that would like to see Elite only ever be about the main ship - no SLFs, no multicrew, no SRVs. But if we keep on waiting for everything to be perfect before going somewhere new, then we're in for a long wait. And as long as these functions (basically) work and are optional gameplay, I see no problem with having them at all. Every time a new big feature comes in we end up getting other things refined more too. We're seeing refinement being developed now (mining and exploration). It's happening. Therefore, bring on the Space Legs! Bring on the Atmo Planets! Bring on the Gas Giant...

Meh, CGs. They need to be downscaled to a fancy type of available faction mission unless it's something important, like that one to haul dope and bacon.

Maybe they want you to use module reinforcement packs

Not redundant, but the Krait fits the way I play like no other ship has. And I've gotten tired of all the engineering and sourcing all those mats for so many different ships and modules and large ships are so expensive to maintain.

I'd just like to add to this. Ship scanner has "minimal resolution distance" which is, if I remember correctly, about 300 meters. That means that the scanner is able to identify and target a ship within that range even if said ship uses silent running. That means that if you're using SR to sneak into the stations, even better than SR itself works learning to read the scanner properly (you can very easily learn to estimate a position, direction and distance of any ship on the scanner) and actively avoid cops. When you screw up and a cops starts to scan you then, like Nadreck said, pop a heat sink and engage SR. That, if you are farther from the cop than their minimal resolution distance, will break contact and interrupt the scan. Speed and situational awareness are smuggler's best friends. SR is fun but won't save you if you're flying wrong.

Just getting to this, but yep. I agree completely. You are not wrong! I do not expect to get MY way. I am just adding my account to many other voices. I know that is not usually how people feel, and that most expect to be catered to. I do not. I even apologize if it's how I expressed myself that made it sound that way. I fully know that if the voices that feel similar to me get loud enough for fdev to listen, things may get changed. If they don't, one would make the logical assumption that the people expressing themselves, such as myself are not in a majority, and are welcome to continue to feel as they do, without accommodation, and are free to continue to participate or not. So, thank you for standing up for the other half of the equation. *May the best commander win!* Heheh. And I do say all of this with the most sincere humility. These really are just my OPINIONS, and they are expressed without a sense of entitlement.

I realized that at work last week. I got everything researched except the extra dig team which I could care less as I have all my dinos to 100%. So I delete them from my islands, along with exp centres and fossil centres.. more room now!! It's great!

Trade CG's: Day 1: This is fun! Day 2: Why did I sign up for this again? Day 3: Am I still doing this? Day 4: Just kill me now. Day 5: Is it finally over? Please let it be over.

There's another way to figure out if they are wanted or not. Approach the perimeter slowly, until you get the trespassing message. If it says "Leave to avoid sanctions" they are clean. If it says "Leave to avoid threat" they are wanted. Works even without canisters :)

We don't have 3-4 equally viable choices for anything non-violent right now. We have Pythonaconda Syndrome, wherein those two ships could replace over half the fleet in terms of pure role effectiveness. Adding more benefit to ships who have only a few roles they can be good at in the first place is only going to cut into Pythonaconda, which needs cutting anyway. We COULD nerf those ships back into the realms of sensibility but if you're mainly concerned about people crying for some reason, that would cause the most of it.

Except you're not being fact based. You claim that Don's Inheritance has an Interstellar Factors facility when it is a demonstrative fact that it does not. You claim that your only solution was to hand yourself in to the jurisdiction that issued the bounty when it is a demonstrative fact that you can go to an IF outside that jurisdiction and pay the bounty to clear your record without there being any further repercussions and without being sent to a detention centre - that is how people who have bothered to acquire an understanding of the C&P system successfully undertake illegal missions without ever being detained. It really isn't difficult.

The travelling salesman doesn't, but the travelling salesman problem does have relevance; It's basically how to calculate the shortest route that will intersect a given number of randomly placed locations. It's hard in two dimensions so in space no-one can here you scream "travelling salesman!!!"

A rated challenger. Grade 3 and 5 engineered weapons, g5 thrusters; dirty drag drives. 1 shot hit my shields, the second took out my engines and it was about 3 seconds from there that I went *POP*... I'm not asking for anything and not really complaining... anything can happen! Just making observations.

The nav beacon tells you info about the system and is thus located near the jump-in point. If it was located on the 10th planet from the sun, it would be annoying and pointless.
