True, plotting a route is hell. I can hardly wait for the star density to drop a little.

You don't have to be faster than the bear, just faster than your friend. This worked for me in Wyrd about an hour ago - I was just leaving Black Hide in my shieldless, unarmed ieagle, there was a challenger in orbit that turned to intercept, turned to face him, he's running frags and packing an interdictor, so I just nipped back into orbital cruise for another pass - then another guy left the base and next thing I saw they were getting pulled by the challenger. I dunno if I've just been meeting people that aren't any good at it but so far I've successfully avoided ganks in open simply by not letting them pull me in the first place.

Hmm. If I bought a bottle of beer, and inside was water, and it wasn't a mistake it was water but the promise of beer was in fact a 'knowing misrepresentation' in order to get sales, and then a couple of years later I got an actual beer delivered to my door ... you're saying I should be grateful?

People speak of how the 'Lord of the Flies' is such a brilliant comic role-player. WF has him beat hands down as far as I can see. Power to your arm my friend, and your nascent squadron. Galactic overlordship awaits! ;)

That would be hilarious, Derek and various goons forgetting what they were actually there for and fighting amongst themselves until Derek gets banned from the courtroom, again.

Nope, NSPs can also be found in rings around planets. Of course, an empty system won't have those. In reality, Lagrangian points can be found around any two large masses, so if it were just two stars in a system, there could be some there. Whether this is the case with Elite's Stellar Forge, I'm not sure.

Yeah, the original expedition proposal I wrote had one coming along on the journey with the fleet, jumping to waypoints along the way, acting as the flagship and a base of operations as we crossed the galaxy. Unfortunately that wasn't possible for this journey, so it'll remain in the Galactic Core. Hopefully something for DW3, that and Carriers. It would certainly add a new dimension of logistical support for deep space operations - depending on what FDev have planned for them :)

I want to clear up some misconceptions in your post: 1: I didn't claim all 75 were NPCs. 3: I'll be posting a progress report by the end of the week in order to facilitate full transparency. 2: I did include the phrase 'woman up' instead of 'man up' in an earlier post (Karmic Debt Collectors is very inclusive) - so your veiled accusation of sexism is not appreciated. Otherwise, your post was very much on point. I'm going to pencil you in as "Minister of Galaxy Defense". Thank you,

If you still have shields left, you're landing too slowly.

Haha yeah the sega was where it was at lol. I had the rampage edition... It wasnt until the after school summer program that i discovered there was a regular non rampage edition of the game too! Good summer! But yeah i get where you're coming from too. I did come across the super nintendo version of a green rex with that same wetland stripe pattern on it's back. I would really like to see that pattern in the baige brown jp coloring. But i think the speckled pattern of the animatronic would be a great skin to get too.

Any pro-tips you have on landing would be appreciated. My goal by the weekend is to be able to land without bouncing.
