    I did, so it is your personal choice not to use the new system not that it is a bad mechanic, you just decided you don't like it for whatever reason. So why all the vitriol on the forums since it is your personal choice? Heck I don't like the Engineers or PowerPlay (amongst other aspects of the game) but I don't continually post about it as I realise others like those aspects and I also realise the game isn't being designed for me and me alone.

    FDEV appear to have implemented a mechanism where CMDRs can hand in bounties at any station - i say appear as i do not know if this is a bug or a design 'feature' that they didnt tell us about. And since FDEV continues to refuse to publish the rules/design that govern BGS it will remain impossible to know which. Anyway, this new feature encourages CMDRs to claim bounties for small factions that appear in only one or two system - previously many would not have bothered to fly to the system to claim them and if they did go to the system or used the Interstellar broker functionality this would be far less frequently and bounties were be cashed in in bulk. We already know that influence from bounties is based on transactions count and not the bounty value. Therefore, what i believe is happening - and what would account for many PMFs seeing other minor factions in their system influence inexplicably going up - is that all of these new bounty claims are being registered for the smaller factions and...

    If you could supercruise faster, then zipping around the system scanning planets would be a lot more engaging than fiddling around tunning. It's the tunning I hate most. Why are we manually tunning signals in the future when we don't even do it anymore in the present?

    Dispersal is great against a lot of ships because it acts as chaff but without the ammo limit. The damage it deals is pretty decent, and the reduction of incoming damage is worth the minor loss of DPS.

    Alcor A 4 used to be my fave, it was foggier than a bay-area evening and the planet was molten. 2.X lighting updates took all the fog away and I've never been back, so I know how you feel.

    Greetings Commanders, Just our of curiosity; Anyone else feel like their smaller ship is not performing as well as they used to? Namely size 1 weapons. Altered different loadouts on my Eagle Mk II and I don't know... something doesn't feel right. For two days now I engaged in fights where I was 20 minutes just pegging my enemy and at the end I just stopped because I would have taken another ten minutes to finish my target. In one occasion I drew enemy out of combat zone and got a murder bounty because apparently declared enemies should only fight in combat zones. But it just feels weird, even while raising AP and pinging on hull it just felt like I was doing less than 1 dps. Anyone else?

    Yeah, flying 500,000 LS to see if that HMC was terraformable isn't exploration, but sitting by the star moving a few sliders around, now that's REAL exploration. Everyone remembers how Roald Amundsen heroically explored the South Pole by sitting on his couch and turning a globe upside down.

    Ok, here it is: under section mode switches is a sub-section "headlook" - there you can assign mouse 3 and another key - and if you press the + sign, you can decide if it should be a toggle or hold feature. further down is another extra section "headlook" (not under mode switches, but a separate main section) - there you have to set mouse headlook ON and set the conditions for your mouse for headlook operation. And now I remember that in a different location is an option for setting the cockpit view back to centered, when you untoggle headlook. And finally there is again in a different location a setting how the UI focus should behave in headlook.
