Wouldn't it be enough to put a single probe in a polar orbit around the planet?

As long as you come away knowing that specific things need critical attention instead of just pure slander across the board I am happy. FD has times of brilliance and times of tone deafness. Pointing out the tone deafness is going to be better in the long haul. As far as taste goes I will never be 'into' mining. Just plane and simple nothing will get me into that. If you are not into combat cool, but you do have to understand combat is complex and meaningful. There is a reason combat ships make up the bigger share of ships. If all modes in the game are not that way I would want them to flesh that out.

Shamelessly stolen from wikipedia about african elephants "African elephant societies are arranged around family units. Each family unit is made up of around ten closely related females and their calves and is led by an older female known as the matriarch. When separate family units bond, they form kinship or bond groups. After puberty, male elephants tend to form close alliances with other males." https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_elephant

Anybody with a decently fitted ship and half a brain can evade the vast majority of attacks if he's not interested in engaging into a duel, I have succesfuly evaded an attack of 4 ships in my Python, mind you, that's a very slow ship for PvP standars.

FD released some good info about Q2 and Q4 at Lavecon. While I'd like to know more about the 2018 paid content and the future of the game in general, I wouldn't say they do not communicate AT ALL.

Gracias a todos. Ahora entiendo un poquito mas la nave... jejeje lo primero es saber donde esta la cabina... parece mas una lancha motora que una nave. A ver si averiguo como mejorar un poco su maniobrabilidad de esta nave.

I hereby dub them the "Cult of Thargon". Breathing a high-ammonia atmosphere for hours on end will tend to make you "unhealthy". There's a reason why all the ammonia has to be stripped off planets in the terraforming process. Ammonia is toxic, people!

I have been using my trackIR for several years now : I'd rather ditch my trusted HOTAS than this thing. I hear the open version is quite good as well but I never needed one.

The last time they asked for feedback somebody threatened to sue them. If I was a developer I wouldn't communicate at all. The nerd rage isn't worth it.

I think the depth is mostly expected to emerge from multiplayer interaction and mostly isn't there because multiplayer makes it impossibly hard to do NPC persistence.

I don't see anything wrong with the OP's request. The docking computer is a hallmark of the original 1984 Elite, and in that game there was no skill required to "undock", as you were just shot out the of the mailslot automatically.

Well, juvenile dinosaurs flocked for a certainty e.g. for safety reasons and so will smaller species. Groups formed as a defence against predation. So it is likely that many of the groups we see for dinosaurs were for defence but does this make them social? We have to be carefull to say a lot of things where social. Obviously we have lots of evidence for group forming for dinosaurs and some of them were very likely social. However, looking at modern animals and the generally limited evidence it is very hard to pick a species and say this particular dinosaur was social. Behaviour can even switch from social to asocial during seasons also within species. So it is kind of hard to translate this into the game. At the moment I'm quite happy to form loose groups e.g. six Stegos and seeing them randomly interact but of course I would love to see Raptors hunting in a group or see some Gallimimus' forming a flock. But it is tricky.

Click on the 'eco' / 'fast' button so it unchecks. That clears the lines. Simples ;)

Hey yes sorry ended up taking longer than I thought to map the keys to work without voice I also actually tried playing elite for a bit so that was fun. The github is just development there isn't a release up since even if yo got it working it would make no sense anyway! So I'll make a slightly different video promos that I'll get one out this week (England game tomorrow night can't miss that!) Thanks for hanging around! Hey remlok is built on the openvr api so if you cant get ovrlay working it's unlikely this will work either I'm afraid

Those lines can be very annoying sometimes, especially when you are closer to centre of galaxy. I went to visit Cat's Paw Nebula and wanted to have a closer look at stars and where to go next but all view is littered with those blue lines. Is there any way to switch them off? Even if I look for a certain type of star the lines are still present...
