    OK, here is another version of my Corvette, with the mining stuff taken off, and then redone with all the engineering mods moved to "maxed out" at the same level under the new engineering system. (This is as per ED Shipyard and Beta 3, so there is more for things to be different in the final release). The shields are now at 6247.9KI / 4272.8TH / 7497.5EX (effective). Jump range is a little more than 19Ly, which exceeds my goal of 17Ly. No Power Plant mod was needed with these weapons (so, you can armour it), and there is still a C7 and 2 C4 bays empty (could think about upping the Shield Cell Bank, but I barely use it). Finally, Hull is at 4407.8KI / 5289.4TH / 3778.1EX (effective), which is pretty awesome, but I've not properly explored the option here. Given the jump range is 1.5Ly over my target value, I can add more mass (and use more power). Best of all, I pretty much have all the mats I need to directly to convert to this build on Tuesday. This is a massive buff to this ship.

    Hey, I'm looking for a decent guide on how to setup the T.16000M FCS (Flight Control System) flight stick and the TWCS (Thrustmaster Weapon Control System) throttle? I've done some research and the only things I can see of benefits on the T.A.R.G.E.T. Software (Or similar software) is improved S-Curve & Deadzone and MACRO's? I've tried plug and play in ED and felt there wasn't enough curve on default. Also keen to use the HOTAS for example for multiple functions such as Targeting & UI navigation. Is this right? Also I'm not 100% sure how to load a custom bind/config in ED? Do you map existing ED keyboard structure into T.A.R.G.E.T and just run it or do you also create a custom bind also in ED? As there seems to me to be multiple methods?

    I guess we really won't know if there are any Sneak Changes that will cause issues until 3.0 drops, but I assume that the problem in the Journals that you had to code around has been acknowledged by FD? Really find CL a Huge Help even when I am in the Bubble.

    I have to confess this was a great reminder of the ENORMOUS learning curve that ED demands of its would-be pilots! So you have my respect if you are still with ED and are more than 2 months in to your learning curve. You are probably over the worst of it! You don't Git Gud at ED, you only get more comfortable with it...

    Keep in mind that the speed stays the same for all controllers. So longer range means longer collection time. Especially in untargeted (slower) mode.

    I disagree - The multi-role for starters can not carry Luxury passengers therefore whether it can carry more economy passengers is actually moot. The Beluga, and Anaconda both have their place in the current balance structure and while the Anaconda can haul ALOT of stuff be it people or cargo, it can not carry Luxury passengers - this restriction does make the relative capability moot. Where cargo is concerned, there are no comparable restrictions on what types of cargo can be carried and quantity is the ONLY meaningful metric from a balance perspective in that particular case. Passenger modules on the other hand have ship specific variants which make quantity a less relevant factor when comparing the Luxury line of ships with vessels of other types.

    This is speculation, or course, but I would guess that reflection nebulae like the Pleiades should be very common in regions packed with dense clusters of bright stars near the plane where there is a lot of dust in the interstellar medium. It would be neat to have both more variety but also just more nebulae, both reflection types in the core, as I mentioned, but also emission nebulae added to parts of the galaxy where they seem to be missing, like the far northern and eastern parts of the galaxy

    the way i do it is with my keelback on hold position at around 10-15 km away from base, with the fighter take out the missile launchers at the base first,, fly below 100 meters take out the skimmers. as at that level the laser turrets will miss u. Then redock with my keelback and supercruse out and fly back in and all should be respawned.. repeat untill missions done

    Info about 7% was found here: http://elite-dangerous.wikia.com/wiki/Background_Simulation No conflicts can happen below 7% influence. I spotted at least civil wars lower this value. But maybe it works in old bubble, not in Colonia. And we do not receive conflict with the figures below (latest is pending state, no pending conflicts)

    The illusion of VR is about the sense of "surround vision" that is the result of many interlocking cues, stereopsis being only one of them. A VR headset is more than just a pair of 3D glasses. I'm pretty sure even if you have impaired stereoptic vision you would still get a sense of scale out of it. It's not like these people walk around confused about how big the cars and streets and buildings around them are.

    Range increase is minimal, engineer mods are only shielded/lightweight/reinforced. Sensor range and type has no effect, even our default sensors far exceed the limpet range. B offers a tiny range increase over A, however the limpets lifetime is reduced by a large amount. Ranges are from 1A (1.2km) up to 7A (2.04km)

    Arrived in Corvette. Found medium landing pad station. Turned back to the bubble. There probably is content in ED. But it's probably on a remote moon at an unknown location in a system that never gets visited. One in 400 billion chance of discovery. Sucks. Type 10, Anaconda or Corvette for Thargoid content? Answer: Anaconda or Python. All the other ships are junk and Python has same jump range the vanilla asp once had. So it's a much better exploration ship in my mind. Can equip it with all the modules you can't equip on an asp. Like repair limpet.
