Go to the Lwalama system, it's in the bubble, in Imperial space. There's a Distress Signal on the nav panel list right now (not just a USS). Go there and you'll find 2 destroyed Majestics, 7 gutted cutters and one to two thargoids. They've also destroyed an agricultural megaship in the same system.

Maybe just temporarily save the board to player stats until a new board is generated at a different location or its time stamp expires?

Some people really just need to step back from social media.

Choose your own adventure. The thing is, if I choose 110 evil doods and 110 mil as payout as a reasonable return for my efforts, is this a problem? I'd wager absolutely it would be. People board swap because, frankly, the developer has persisted in making their latest mission the most common to spawn. Choice has been removed in favour of doing what the developer wants. But we always come back to the basis of all the complaints; player n is earning too much per diem. Dropping to a single mission per-faction, even customised will make the lack of select worse not better. The entire point of Frontier being asked to massively increase the mission count, is that that massively increases the choice. Board-hopping is a solution to Frontier's obsession with forcing new mission types to be the most common, with highest payout. It's a pattern. They invent a new mission (which is literally just the same thing as the last lot; optionally with a new module type) and then make that the highest probability. .....

I like my purchase so far though wish they didn't remove the extra C6 slot. Even if they left the slot with a smaller class no smaller than 4, I would be happier.

The biggest problem with this proposal is that mission systems arn't supposed to be credit vendors, they are supposed to guide players to the fun. The credit vending is the carrot, not the purpose. Missions function as signposts and context providing the player with goals and bringing them from the station into combat or space trucking or w/e, instead of sitting confused in the station. A mission system that is purely selectable and customizable caters to the games high end veterans but not the rest of the playerbase. The massacre missions in the OP are deeply flawed but that can be fixed without scrapping the signpost system entirely. I.E. You could sign a contract that just gives you a bonus for each combat zone kill, then a big bonus at the end perhaps depending on whether your side won.

When I first started, it took me three months just to get my controls mapped. Those were the good old days.

I really like mine. Not as much space as a python, but a lot more fun to fly. Been flying medium ships now for a long while now for bgs and mission running, it fits the bill and just feels right.

It's a shared multiplayer game. We are all meant to be eachother's content...that's the point of multiplayer. I personally hope that every player that encounters my CMDR enjoys the content I provide, as I will enjoy theirs, whatever that may be, provided they aren't overtly cheating or hurling blatantly out-of-character insults.

This just in, Saud Kruger filing for bankruptcy. Legendary luxery shipliner extraoardainaire Saud Kruger has announced that they are shutting their doors and building no more ships and they are selling remaining parts and tooling for parts to maintain the existing ships. When asked why they are closing their doors even though they build the most popular high end ships their answer was very simple and straight to the point. "Just take a look in the passenger lounge of any station in the galaxy." Then he followed up with "We cannot get a Beluga sold now for two weeks, we have sold some Orcas, and a few Dolphins but the need for large passenger transport ships have dried up throughout the galaxy."

Likewise, Soldier, and I was not throwing it in anyone's face, I just have encountered people that look at being over the halfway point and discredit me as a source because I must have been a failure.

Heresy, HERESY! I really have no problem with the agility, since it handles like a dream compared to the AspX and Conda, which are it's only long-ranged competition I think. The fuel scoop is indeed a royal pain, which I cannot dismiss. Question for Inodoro Pereya: Can a racer only get the Honour the Explorer's bonus once per attempt? (e.g.: can you drop off 2t cargo at both sites and get 24 minutes?)

That's more combat loadout vs. non-combat or multi-purpose loadout, and yes the combat loadout has a major edge, which is why people tend to outfit for combat if expecting combat.

They have the assets, & I suspect they took a fair amount of time to create......so why artificially limit them to only their current Persistent appearances? I have said before that assets, in general, need to be more persistent than is currently the case (which I am hoping will be the upshot of the Q4 Exploration Changes).....but that is a separate issue. The issue here is helping to make mission locations much more diverse than is currently the case.....regardless of the mission difficulty. As to my ship of choice. I am more than happy in my Cobra MkIII.....but love to switch to an FdL when things get *hot*!!!!

Although flight is part of the learning curve thats not really what i meant. I was getting at making credits, building rep, finding a good station to call home for a bit etc. Takes awhile to build that knowledge for a player. Someone starting the game second time round knows all that and it makes things much faster. I had nearly 400hrs in the game when i switched from PC to console to play with friends,i was a lot quicker second time around getting established.
