    One of the things I still find highly amusing : Both Aegis and the SuperPowers basically are repeatedly calling for help. Apparently, the biggest "movers" in the entire human Galaxy can't hire a single Transporter? Source a few thousand tons of widely available Commodities?! And at the same time, the Game has always been telling us "you're just one guy in a single spaceship". Can't do this. Can't do that. Can't go there. Yaddi Yaddi. So now what? In my books, these Stations are their Equipment. I can't own or construct one by myself. So whatever happens is their business. They're the big shots in the Galaxy, they own ten thousands of NPC Ships, they call all the shots and drive MegaShips and Capital Ships around.

    i wasnt talking about slowing down development, what i meant by this thread was, do people think that frontier actually dont even try to do some stuff, because the game is now linked to consoles? not that they are slower, than they simply have abandoned certain ideas, there are videos of them talking about us walking about on space stations talking to npcs, landing on planets going dinosaur hunting. there is concept art of tons of different types or srv. all this sort of stuff takes memory, cpu power not something consoles have in abundance. even xbox one x, processor is only a slight upgrade from normal xbox one. im not really bothered that much about graphic fidelity, i just want the game to be more complex, and i think because of consoles, they might have curtailed there original plans.

    I love my Clipper for mining. It's efficient enough and strong enough to make mining in a high-Res exciting and profitable. It can also hybrid as an explorer quite nicely.

    Almost equal to the small number of ammonia worlds I have found is a certain type of High Metal Content world very close to what I assume i the “tipping point.” Atmosphere consisting of 33% Ammonia, 33% Methane, and 33% Nitrogen. These register as HMC worlds with “Methane Rich” atmosphere types. Anyone else find these at similar frequency to AWs and ELWs? And are they in fact just a hairsbreadth from being AWs? Everytime I find one I usually think to myself “FFFFFFUUUUUU....D:<“

    Yeah, I don't really mind bugs either. I haven't run into any game breaking ones, like bugged out quests, just minor stuff. I've read some people had it worse, but then again, people tend to over react, so who knows. Plus side of realisitic medieval setting - no dragons flying backwards. :D

    I'm not in the industry under discussion, but I completely agree with you; many people have a tendency to be lazy creatures all to eager to follow the path of least resistance, blithely sucking up the creativity, ingenuity and hard work of others for nickles on the dollar. One of the many reasons for my Randian world view point:)

    Oddly enough, the codex is one of my most highly anticipated features in the upcoming year. I think it will be low-key the biggest game changer in how players get invested and engaged in the game. Or at least it can be. I hope it is fleshed out enough that we can collect data from several facets of the game, not just exploration. How great would it be to have a place where we can collect and organize our trade data and market changes. Or a place where we can look up players and characters who we've interacted with and get a dossier. Or a place to collect local legal information like jurisdiction features and your past in allied or hostile system. As well as a list of the different threads and breadcrumbs of the mysteries and lore element we stumble across--even small stuff like where we found our biggest painite drop or highest profits. Basically one place that kind of acts as the hub for the things that define us as individual characters. I think it could be a boon for the general feeling of player...

    And it was a complete failure. The only commanders there are ones who've prestiged multiple times and have the best loadouts. Newbie players don't stand a chance against them and without a chat function, it's impossible to get pointers from more seasoned commanders on how best to play. It's no wonder this travesty of a game mode is so dead. It actively dissuades new players from jumping in by locking the stuff you need to succeed behind yet another Frontier grind that only the most dedicated players can achieve. The game mode is broken. And I have experienced it firsthand. Unless you get together with a bunch of new CQC players and try to learn together it's not worth playing. Good luck finding people who want to play AND are at the same skill level you are.

    Well, lately my experience has been that if you are not speeding you don't get the fine. I have noted that after exiting the security forces mill about in such a way that it seems like you say to "catch you out". I wait for the waters to part and then hit the boost when they can't dart in front of me. No fines as of late. Anecdotal, but seems to be working for me. I still bump and grind quite a bit in the station.

    olorin, you have a terrible attitude towards players who's goals do not align with yours, and you resort to potty mouth language to denigrate the players who you would have us believe are the one's displaying a bad attitude. I don't know about them, but I find you to be out of line.
