As title says. What is the winged logo? Is it Guardian related? Because it is shown quite a bit in the new trailer with some extreme detail.

Sorry OP - still haven't had time to read - still too busy playing - and almost ran out of fuel! Gosh this game is fun ;)

Huh? It takes about 2-4 rolls to go from g4 to g5. You're not trying to max the G4 before moving on, right?

Yep, cycling works and is easy on the joints. Swimming is really good too. Even relatively warm water leaches heat(read: calories) from your body, since it's such a good conductor. I'd also highly suggest Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Google "BJJ before after" for many shocking photos. It can be expensive so you'll need to make it a priority. I think it would be a great fit for you. Even if you think it's not right for you now, perhaps down the road a bit.

Thats my point: whether or not Skadden has a reason to ask for it (either way, they'd probably ask for it) and whether or not CIG has something to hide (either way, they probably wont voluntarily submit to it) is irrelevant to what is happening: no matter what the situation actually is (and none of us here knows), a judge has to intervene and state who has to do what. It just appeared a bit weird to see the mirror argument of Spectrum's "if Skadden asks to nose around it without stating their target it must mean they have nothing solid against CIG!" go around unchallenged. The notion that any other company, regardless of guilt, would respond to Skadden's request with a friendly "Sure bro, feel free to browse all corporate info we have, its all cool." without a judge ordering them to cooperate is comical at best. :)

Yes. That is EXACTLY what I meant. Pirates actually facing consequences for their actions. Roleplay a psychotic murderer, get treated like a psychotic murderer. If you don't like it, you defend the station, or rebuild it after it goes boom. Or, die and lose your bounty amount in engineered ships that you killed people with. Worst case scenario, you're in a Sidewinder. But I don't see psychotic murderers worrying a lot whether they manage to kill someone until they can't afford another rebuy, and putting THEM in a Sidewinder. It would take a lot of effort. If the murder hobos aren't that bad, then nobody will bother. That's what you don't like. Accountability. Cowardice is attacking ships when you know you cannot lose.

En Elite Dangerous aterrizar en planetas era impensable, los planetas eran esferas texturizadas... meses después es posible aterrizar en algunos de esos planetas con terrenos generados y recorrerlos en nuevos vehículos (SVR)... Es el mismo juego.

Pretty sure a near max engineered Corvette can get to Ishum's Reach now. With the Guardian FSD Booster and a J3 injection a Corvette should get to near 90ly.

Agreed. This presents a problem for factions already in game. We all have systems next to us with 7 factions that were previously full. Now they could randomly have a faction in it. Some type of explanation should be given so that we know what to be prepared for.

So you wouldn't want to submit in a T9 then? Isn't it a case of submitting and then just jumping away though; wouldn't that be better? Would you bother with the mines? I'm not sure how good mines are - they don't sound like they'd be much use on paper...

Please let me know what game that is out right now that is going to "replace" Elite Dangerous? There is nothing even close to Elite on the market right now. So please stop with all the doom and gloom posts.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I'm the exact opposite of what you propose. I HATED the original Elite (possibly due to the implementation on Apple IIs) and had zero interest in any of the sequels. I did play all the Wing Commander games, X-Com, and Star Control 1 and 2 back in the day. However, I really was NOT craving a space sim. I laughed off Star Citizen when it was first proposed/first round of crowd funding - though they finally seem to be making some progress. I stumbled into this game by accident. My cousin backed it in Beta, but never played it. So I tried his account (right after Horizons launched) and fell in love with it. I immediately bought both ED and Horizons that December (2015) and have been playing it a lot since. Not know what gaming standards are today? Uh, what? I enjoy Skyrim and Fallout 3 and 4. I also enjoy Far Cry 1, 3, and 4 (haven't bought 5 yet). I laugh at the triple AAA titles like Call of Duty while enjoying the new Wolfenstein games. So yes, I'm...

Does it make it quite inefficient though to trade in this way, as you'll come in with things they need, but there won't be things to buy to take back elsewhere to trade? Or are there things that you can buy that are in demand elsewhere? Is the knack to it combining the regular trade rules (trading say gold with a luxury system). I'm not entirely sure if medicine is sold at most places, but the system that provides gold being in famine so you come to it with the medicine and what not, and go back with the gold to sell? Then rinse and repeat, or expand it to other places that have similar needs and offerings

There seems to be a bug or problem with finding the race initiator. I have done all base building missions and done all the blueprints in the analyzer. The last ones were related to racing, but now the analyzer is empty, and still no race initiator. Anyone managed to figure out how and where to get it? In pre-Next version you bought it from the blueprint merchant in your base. Now, I don't know.

I took it as the Guardian AI wiped out the Guardians as they were a risk to the AI as the Guardians 1) Didn't like the AI being free and independent 2) We constantly killing each other Putting the nascent AI constructs at risk But now they are not reliant on the Guardians nor a nascent civilisation, having been around 2 millions years, so it is unlikely in the extreme Humanity would be a threat to their existence. That isn't to say there wouldn't be other reasons to be hostile to humanity, but the us or them survival rtional is no longer valid

We're supposed to shot them. It's how they prepare us for the other Thargoids. Meatshield ain't no good if it can't block right.
