    If it wasnt posted here in a thread and not even sure the thread was about it (content related tho) I would still be none the wiser about the whole thing, still not watched it..its odd they send emails spamming me to buy crap from the store but the biggest thing to happen in game for some time was posted on FB I belive. Im gussing its also on FD's youtube chan, but tbh I dont surscibe to that, and ive not looked at youtube for over a week..emm might have some stuff to catch up on.

    I think you misunderstood my pitch. Yes, MC turned out quite limited and I still haven't heard full dev explanation why navigator role didn't make a cut (could be actually some trivial things, because navigating system is a bit lacking in game, needs improvement). I don't call for adding space legs just for adding space legs. Without extra gameplay they won't make much change. I agree with FD not prioritizing them now. What I am saying though that space legs CAN be added to ED and it CAN BE WORTHY addition to the game. Will they be is to be seen, but that's how I see them.

    May well be. It's just that Jameson Memorial in Founders World has all 31 ship types available. It should however be available also in Alliance Space.

    There are quite a bit of misconceptions about what the Type 10 represents. It is not an "armed trader" or "upgraded Type 9". The Type 10 has been redesigned and rebuilt to fulfil a completely different role, combat, rather than being primarily designed to carry cargo like the Type 9. It uses the same starting chassis but its role is completely different. It's the same idea as the Keelback, which is designed to carry upgraded hardpoints and an SLF, and was never intended to carry bulk cargo around as efficiently as the Type 6. The Type 10 was redesigned for a combat role, which makes it a dedicated combat ship. Why should the Type 10 be designed for better jump range than the Type 9, which is also supposed to be able to do long-range cargo runs when travelling to Sothis or Quince?

    Welcome! The Eagle is a fun ship to fly and so is a Cobra. My personal favorite is the Asp Explorer. My recommendation is to fly numerous different ships and do not try to buy an Anaconda (or any large ship) ASAP. Instead, test fly any ship which appeals to you (once you can afford it). Keep in mind that the stock ships need to be upgraded to reach their full potential, so budget enough for some A-rated modules and NEVER fly without the rebuy cost. (It's best to have 2 or 3 rebuys worth of credits, in case you hit a patch of bad luck.) The ships are a large part of the content in ED and if you rush through them, you're skipping over some of the best parts of the game.

    I do my first steps in fighting Thargoids. So they nerfed the AX. That explains to me why I have Troubles. It is obvious that the ships were not mean tto be killed solo. But I guess thats what we all try to do. At least I. About the 4 AX Limit.. I am not that sure that it is that limiting. It seems the Limit is just for 4 of the same type. I carry 4 AX Multigun, 1 Ax Missile rack, 2 of that AX flak Things on my anaconda where I haven't figured out how you can use that flak efficient and consider to Change to 4 AX Multi and 3 AX rack. It's ok for me if I can't get them down solos. I would prefer open space or at least conflict zones with many many Players fighting them all together like forexample in those big RPG Events of RPG games. But that's not existing. The Point that bothers me most however is next to that all AX weapon are with limited ammo is that I had to criple my Warship completly to be able to fight the Thargoids. It is useless against anything else now. Basicly you Need all the Moduls...

    No, it's not very good (sorry Frontier, you worked super hard on MC, but it's just not very good). Space legs won't improve a lack of engaging reasons. So you can walk around a ship, cool. This is great. But that's not improving Multi-crew, which is plagued with instancing, matchmaking issues, and has very little beyond pew-pew going for it. You're literally aping that the solution to everything is space-legs, ignoring that this is literally just a mobile camera. Which is great, but it's just another way to interact with something. That's not improving the thing you're actually interacting with. Do you know why the rescue missions (and other associated missions) at the damaged stations have had such high traction? There are reasons now for doing something. This is the part of the dynamic that multi-crew is missing, and is also the part of the dynamic that space legs - today - would be missing. Again, people have convinced themselves that "space legs fixes everything" which is simply ignorant that it...

    Which is fine; but if I have legs, but nothing to use them for, then at best it's met "minimum requirements" but I don't think that'll fly, do you? People want to believe legs will "save the game" and are so convinced of this, they haven't actually considered the consequences of mechanics going in, with suboptimal usage options. I think the feedback on Multi-crew, pretty much answers that, don't you? (this is rhetorical, it absolutely does).

    I wouldn't mind a galnet message pop into my inbox with something to direct me to the main article. But it should only be "story" related articles. I would be surprised if they are only doing galnet audio without doing other stuff to galnet. Would be good to get a galaxy map Iink at the galnet articles.
