My view: FD spent a whole lot of time creating some highly crafted ships in the Thargoids (See Mark Allens stream). What they have not done is make much engaging content for anyone not wholly interested in pew-pew. Before 2.4 I wasn't much interested in the Thargoids. When it launched I went and had a look and found it potentially more interesting than I thought. However as the weeks went by with CG that delivered only weapons I lost that interest. The rescue CG briefly reignited it, but now it's back to the same old stuff. To go out and shoot at them (and I include taking samples in this), with totally different weapons that I would normally have, for what appears to be very spurious reasons - No, sorry FD, not happening.

The problem with "hot ships" is that it is a stupid idea and makes no sense. It should be CMDR based for crime. Simply because when you buy the ship you have to register who brought it, for insurance reasons and well, get the money from them and all the other very good reasons under the sun why it is important to know who brought which ship. People don't fly around in ships that pop out of thin air.... And there are no mechanics for stolen ships or black market ships.... Which in turn have their own serious consequences to flying... Sorry FDev, please can you stop implementing stupid mechanics into the game, please.

Statements by Steam et al. regarding games are subjective tbh. Although, imo, ED fits the bill for being a definitive space game for me, so does Lunar Jet Man on the ZX Spectrum. :D :D :D

Almost the same things I've wanted since v.1.0! 1) Move the "Request Docking" button to the top of the "contacts" panel 2) A lights on indicator light on the HUD 3) Move the message inbox to the first tab on the comms panel (and move the filter button to the bottom of the inbox so I can stop accidentally selecting it! Terrible UI design there, Frontier) 4) Better anti-aliasing

The same issue has been happening to me - though not always on the second sample. It seems to be worse when I am downloading something in the background (I had it happen 7 times out of 7 attempts whilst listening to Lave Radio for example), but it can happen at any time.

He buscado en el historial de los logs, y la gran mayoría los conseguí en misiones entre Ceos y Sothis. Suerte con ellos.

Yay, store seems to be OK again.... Looks like someone wound up the elastic bands again. Well, I can twang the elastic bands like a guitar or rub the hamster on them to make a sweet, violin-like sound.

Can someone furnish me with a demonstrably definite definition of definitive, please.

ED, can you add a line up / Docking light under the ship, to show you visually, when you are aligned for boarding. Sort of a green light / red light.

Prueba con misiones de pasajeros. Es extraño que no te salga, ahora estoy por territorio de la Alianza y me salen esas misiones, pero no es un material raro. Te debería de salir.

There are open air wetbench platforms available for PC builders and enthusiasts who often like to swap out components or simply want something different to stuffy old cases. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1x6NMD8ZSM

No, that's just Murphy's Law. You know how common Sulphur is, right? I specifically landed on a planet to find a shed load of Sulphur for reloads. Took me like 20 minutes to find my first rock containing Sulphur. Lol

I fly by the 6 second rule... So long as you're at a speed that takes 6 or more seconds to reach your target you'll be fine... You can still sometimes save the day if your time to target dips momentarily to 5s, but there is a point where even if you throttle down entirely, you'll stlll overshoot. 6 is pretty much 100% safe... You'll just need to keep the needle in the middle of the blue zone... (That's 75% throttle to you and me) I set a key bind on my joystick... One press and I can go and make a cup of coffee, knowing I won't overshoot.

That sounds an awfull lot like StarWars Galaxies with the Jump to Lightspeed expansion. Man I loved that game and was sad to see it die but I recently stumbeld upon a project called SWG EMU that works on bringing a private shard for pre-Combat Upgrade SWG, including the expansions up to rage of the wookies, back to live. According to their site they started working on this back in the day when Sony released the Combat Update for SWG. Official site is https://www.swgemu.com

Hey FD, is that possible? My suggestion is either; In outfitting, for every hardpoint, there is a subslot for a colour choice. (Similar could be applied to engine colours) Or, simply list every hardpoint in the livery menu when applying things, to allow for independent colouring. If we could colour missile trails too, that'd be awesome. But only if one of the options is "random" for every missile launched, so I can have rainbow packhounds. :P

It is my Definitive Space Game. It will vary between people whether it is their definitive space or not depending on what they like.

I actually think "bubble exploring" is underrated. Not sure about how much profit you can actually make, but there are lots and lots of beautiful places in close vicinity. I actually visit those when I just want to enjoy flying a bit without trying to be in any way productive. If you're just starting out in Elite I guess you can make a good amount of credits as well without actually doing much.

You do realise that sites like these generally have a restricted zone around them. Sitting in that zone means you are trespassing, which makes you a criminal & target for the police.
