Best Advice I've had. Many thanks Mr Teatime, have a bit of Wasp0 Cred (Rep ;) ). As i said in my opening post all my patience has been surgically removed at birth, so...........! I'll hang onto the rift for another month or so and see if/when Amazon get the 5k+ to sell me. Its not as if i am not happy with my rift, but i now know (Without trying or seeing) there are better headsets than my rift. How ever if i was to get an good offer for my rift ;) (PM Me anyone?)i may be tempted to sell.

Anyone find anything useful by overlapping TDW symbol onto the Raxxla symbol? I tried it but nothing. Even inverting the symbol didn't reveal anything but space madness.

13 Ly. Upgrade your DSF or drop your ship mass. Google it, common starter problem. gl

For me it's 'Playable' mode. I first started playing Elite Dangerous on a flat screen, fairly large one, but couldn't get the hang of it. Switched to the xbox because someone said the controller made more sense, but for me it didn't, so came back to the PC and bought a joystick. Fine! But... Still couldn't do stuff, like dock or find my landing pad, or keep track of ships in combat. Switched to a Hotas. This helped. A bit.

So i say hi to u all fellow commanders of this beautiful and interesting game. I am commander AzoreanOutkast, from Angra do Heroísmo, Terceira Island, in Azores Arquipelago belonging to Portugal, on the Atlantic Ocean. Im a 43 year old veteran gamer, that always loved the space games, and just recently found this game and dove into it. After just a few hundred hours im setting out on my first real exploratory mission, at least in the way i see one being done properly, (each with is own idea), on the ATLANTIA, a Anaconda class ship, set to my taste and needs, with a 65Ly max jump range (did engenier FSD to max, but still alot to do, but for now ill set that on standby). Ive 1st mapped already alot of planets, but today i set out to go about 5000 Ly away from the last station in the bubble that i could find and set a bookmark to mark the 1st system from where im gonna start expanding my search/discovery grid, checking and mapping all i find. This post will serve as a place to share my discoveries,...

My Asp X is called Nautilus, named after Captain Nemo's ship in 20,000 Leagues. It seemed a fitting name for an exploration craft.

Насколько я понимаю механику флешетт - там не небольшая часть, там едва ли не весь урон идет по модулям. А вот можно ли флешеттами выцеливать отдельные модули - уже другой вопрос...

There is somewhere about 2000Ly above the galactic plane, which I very much need to visit. It's a rather unusual system, and I was excited to discover it sometime about a year ago - but I crashed into a planet a few systems later and wasn't able to deliver the data. I feel I need to tie that loose end up, get the data, drop it off at the new core station once it comes into being. And not crash into anything. Overall, I think, I've been getting further and further away from the main body of DW2. I can't help it, social events aren't my thing, and exploring is... so I've been moving ahead and off to the side. Left WP4 on the Thursday ahead of the scheduled Sunday, left WP5 this past Monday. But I'm enjoying myself! And maybe I'll come back to the group once the stars begin to thin out on the far side of the galaxy. There'll be less to see, and more need for the warmth and security of the group.

All my life i hated them, then found the best way to enjoy them. Halve them, fry them in a HOT pan with olive oil, sliced garlic, and kosher salt, when flat side has caramelized, you're good to go.

It's going to be tricky to get to there in a basic Sidewinder. Options: 1) Set the routing to economic, give the map a little while to add the blue connections between systems, see if you can see a route in those. If it's a route that goes a very long way away from the straight line, then the automatic plotter won't be able to find it. 2) Do something else to get a bit more money, then upgrade your Frame Shift Drive. With a better FSD it should be much easier to reach.

This statement reminds me to the very first years after humankind found the existence of microorganisms and the resulting shock about that they exist in billions and everywhere. If you only could see how exaggerated your view is... artificially or intended?

Of course, what I meant was more along of the lines of let's not argue about who is TDW who The Club etc and let's actively search all theories, I could have worded it better :)

If someone is in a position to cheat again, it means that insufficient action was taken. With a large enough sample size and enough control examples, yes. If someone disconnects whenever they are at risk of having their ship destroyed, but never during other occasions that are far more likely to prompt disconnections, the reason for their disconnections is clear enough to meet any reasonable burden of proof. The target doesn't need to know why, only how.

If your journey is greater than 1000Ly, you will need to switch from economy plotting.Jf it is less than 1000 ly, you may need to upgrade your FSD.And dont forget to fit a fuel scoop.

Not entirely, it depends on how much you want to maintain backward compatibility. I'm not a great believer in that, generally speaking, since it tends to clutter up an application with effectively redundant code and usually only required by a small number of people. How many people want to manually check for TD updates, manually download them and unpack them over their existing installation? I certainly don't and I don't suppose many of the few TDH2 users do either. So, you are correct, it is my program and manual TD install for TDH2 is going away now that TD can be installed and updated using pip. I see no valid reason to maintain both methods. TDH3 will be available real soon now.

Currently using a T1600M, X52 throttle, Saitek Pedals. Configured so I essentially fly the galaxy map with the flight controls. Mouse or trigger button can be used for selection. Voice attack can auto type for me, touch controller to use the virtual keyboard. Below are my galmap bindings.

Yes, +1! This is such a no-brainer that I just spent some time googling it because I was certain it had to be possible and I presumed I was just failing to work out how it was done... :-S
