Whats the issue here? Dont you people have phones??? I gotta agree, the D3 fan crowd probably has not as much impact as it thinks it has but Blizzard could ve handled this better....MUCH better in fact. Instead they were confrontational and they are getting the bill for it. The internet and YT specifically were full of torches-and-pitchforks pieces for days afterwards painting a very negative image. I am sure a lot of people not much vested in Diablo were kinda triggered by this biased reporting. The stock market simply reacts to insecurities when it comes to the cash cows (gamers) which are currently up in arms. Personally I have given up on Blizzard a loooong time ago. I fell for their "we are gamers too" crap when I was younger and didnt know much but they are a full blown corporate company by now and they just produce the tools to make what they really are after. Add the fact that it has been decades since Blizzard has had an original idea of their own....yeah, the company I was a fan of 20...

Yay another thread about this. Keep 'em coming! +support Analysis mode is useless. Please remove. (Did we get an influx of new beta players just wanting to try the ships and seeing this "HUD Mode" disaster for the first time? I'm seeing a lot of the same topics come up again since beta1.)

"Researchers from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) demonstrated for the first time that raw human excrement can potentially be converted to a safe, reusable fuel and a nutrient rich fertilizer, solving two major worldwide issues" The Sothis gold-rush of long ago was totally justified.

Youre not wrong. Youll also see how its confined to very few system relatively speaking. The galaxy is huge. Plenty of room to avoid murder and still have lots of fun however you want to play.

+1, also like the general direction of this. The FSS does need dialling back a little in the detailed information it provides. For example I suggested it should only list the materials present on a planet, not the precise percentages. You'd need to probe a planet to reveal the exact percentages. Having the DSS only provide search areas for POIs instead of pin-pointing them is also something quite a large number of people in the exploration community requested as soon as the mechanics were revealed. Unfortunately it seems FDev have gone from manually eyeballing entire planets to handing you everything on a silver platter. This is similar to how we went from finding planets by parallax to the "God Honk". They really just seem to go from one extreme to the other, which is a bit of a shame. Perhaps the "God Probe" will be dialled back in a couple of years, but for now I fear we are stuck with the current mechanics.

I’ve been curious about this say if Rexy from Jurassic park was to some how met the Buck or the Doe from the lost world, who’d you think would win if they fought So Rexy would be in her prime and so would the Buck, but to make things interesting the Doe’s in the same area I know Rexy lived on Nublar and the Doe and Buck lived on Isla Sorna, but say for what ever reason Rexy was sent back to Sorna or Buck and Doe where sent to Nublar for what ever reason.

So browsing the forums I’ve noticed there’s tons of different dinosaur wishlists (I am also guilty), and I would probably assume it’d make it difficult to see which are most favored if they get drowned out right? I mean between the JPOG cult classics and newest discoveries there’s tons of debate. So I thought I’d compile together some polls about which dinosaurs we want the most since numbers don’t lie! Feel free to discuss the dinosaurs and give your thoughts about why or why not some should make it after casting your votes. I’ll try to offer information about all dinosaurs listed in case they are unknown to you and where they’d fall in the game. Please keep on topic, let’s keep it strictly about dinosaur discussion and which we’d like for our Ingen Genome Database. Thanks mates! Small Carnivores Carnivores spanning between 2-6 meters Alioramus 5-7m Asian Tyrannosaur, narrow snout with a bony nasal crest. Austroraptor 5m South American Dromaeosaur(Raptor),...

I enjoyed XR, too. I have about 400 hours into it, which is pretty good for a single player game. It's nowhere near as good as XTC with Albion Prelude, though, which were time sinks to rival ED for me:)

Exactly. Well said. Same here. I think restoring the option to fly-your-ship-to-scan needs to be brought back at a basic level. I will probably like having an alternative option for a change of pace (DW2 will be a long trip).

I’d be cool if they’d just extend the timer to a max amount of time (if the player keeps taking hits) say 2 minutes, but then the log off happens automatically. This allows the player to go afk on the fly and not have to sit there waiting to log off. Sometimes you gotta answer the door, pick up the phone, turn off the bath, stop a cat fight outside, answer some pressing and immediate call for attention from a significant other etc. under those conditions even the 15 sec timer is too much. It needs be like a countdown with the option to opt out but no need to confirm.

All these new exploration and mining features to play with and unique things to find out there while admiring the new lighting and coloring effects. I was planning to take my first long distance trip into the black to enjoy it all. So I have one question to ask of my fellow Cmdrs that have made trips already into the unknown for long periods and far distances. Where's the best place in the galaxy to watch the bubble burn?:D
