If I scan a planet with nothing on the surface it shows as such immediately. If it takes more than a second to come up with “none” it can take about 30-40 seconds to show Geological / Human / Biological etc. This is a ridiculously long amount of time and adds a huge amount of thumb twiddling time while I scan a whole system. I cannot believe this is intentional - I really hope not as if it is it’s intentional grind for grinds sake. Is this a bug I should log a ticket on or does anybody know for sure? How long does it take for you?

Pretty sure the post is referring to a different Jango Fett than the goon one.

Well... I guess the good news is that if they're able to bring THIS into the game, they won't have problems giving us dragon mounts once the Elsweyr hits. That's the only thing that matters

I suppose you want to do away with the docking requests as well? If being assigned a landing pad is having your ship piloted for you, then so is having a departure queue number assigned. Of course, neither one of them has anything to do with the game piloting your ship for you, so it’s a bit of a bizarre comment to have made.

Probably my favourite C64 game, even made a clone of it for the Amiga. Also my favourite theme, though "Thing on a Spring" plagued my brain for far too long.

quite a stretch analogy I am afraid. Nametag on new discovery after a long trip is more akin to beating an equally experienced player in pvp. discover what was already tagged seems to be a more fitting analogy to killing easy targets.

*Scrolls back up to previous post to find link nobody clicked...* Anybody else seeing a hexagon here because, in celestial mechanics the gravitational anomalies created by examining (sacred) Geometry as one of the four branches of the Quadrivium (The other three being Arithmetic, Cosmology and Music, aka frequency (Ref: Nikola Tesla)) are fairly important, which is probably why nobody is taught such things as the classical Liberal Arts any more... Bees are wise, and respected by the ancients, but why?

Lol, that was a good one No, NPCs don't use FA-Off at all. Tested and proven over and over again. they are just better at using their thrusters than combat beginners

Given what many post on the Forum it is all pointless rabble. Meanwhile I've been drinking Folger's classic roast for many years. I don't need a stinkin' $5.00 cup of coffee from Starbucks to make me seem that I'm connected with the in crowd.

You'd think it would be in the credits, but I'm guessing that a few of them at least are public domain.

Looks at the list. I see Jango Fett mentioned as being against it, and he is a goon. Thefore all the opposition is just a plot by goons and Derek Smart to undermine CIG. Ipso facto, summa laude, people must be in favour of reserved ship names. Nice try you Derek alt!

It is a good thing knowing how to use it. It makes a big difference between a Viper and a Cutter in combat.

NAH I prefer to pilot my ship. Not have the game do it for me.

I had a full cargo hold and one unit of it was the last limpet. I had some space in the refinery to fill and tried to avoid having the last cargo space being filled from the refinery once I launch the last limpet (in case the scan will be unsuccessful and I need to synthesize one more). So I thought to be clever and deactivated the refinery, expecting it to no refine anything in the offline state, yet it did. It showed as unavailable, but once I launched the limpet stuff has been refined. It would be good to have control over this, to either have the refinery inoperable when deactivated or to be able to somehow toggle it into an inactive state.
