"This isn't right", she thought, as her ship slid around the docking bay. Without warning, the shaking stopped. She punched her comms. "Control, where are we?". No answer. Other ships started disembarking; she queued her own to take off. Her comm system roared with static, punctuated by screams and shouting. "Control, what the hell is going on out there?"     As good as any idea on the subject. The idea that my Corvette or even your T10 can only carry 2100 rounds per gun is outdated and silly.

    Oh yeah! I'd forgotten how I got to the first grave site in the first place. I usually go to a station first and talk to everyone, collecting lots of points of interest to visit, and I don't really keep track of where they came from. :) As for money, I think I've already got more than I can reasonably spend for a while. At least until / unless I find a ship that I like better than the one I have. Wish I could just buy slot upgrades for my current ship instead of having to find a new one that has better stats AND looks good.

    Flying around the Empire revealed yet another system that needs a permit; Summerland I think. This got me to wondering - just how many systems are there that require permits? It seems that, of the ones I've seen so far, only a few affect gameplay, for instance getting to Qwent. Perhaps I'm not a wizened enough traveller yet...

    It depends. I personally feel engineers are perfect for handcrafted quests. Especially since they are 'chained', this was a great opportunity for a 'mini-campaign'. However, some of the current unlocks are so dull that replacing it with nothing would be an improvement. Like when something goes spectacularly wrong while cooking: you may prefer an alternative meal, but if that cant be provided you'd opt for skipping the meal altogether. :P

    It's definitely still a problem. Casual players(those who can't devote more than a couple hours per week, ie: the vast majority) have to make a choice: Either spend their valuable playtime scavenging mats for synthesis to have extra ammo capacity onboard(farming) or actually engaging in combat(not farming). Their time in a Rez/CZ is limited by either running weapons without ammo(negating a majority of weapon loadout schemes), or running back to station every 15 minutes to reload(wasting that valuable playtime). By allowing the purchase of an ammo rack, their combat playtime is increased, potentially to an hour straight, and farming/shuttling ammo time is decreased. For a combat oriented player with limited playtime, it's an issue that could be easily fixed. Again, it's a QOL improvement across the board for the hardcore as well. Instead of running back to a station 4 times an hour because you're out of ammo, you would be returning once. It's an increase in fun gameplay while removing tedium.

    In the same sense as adjusting aniso levels is gameplay… UI is UI. UI is not gameplay. busywork | ˈbɪzɪwəːk | noun chiefly North American work that keeps a person busy but has little value in itself. So… pretty much spot on for the new UI. Sure you did. You introduced the idea “that the ADS and the DSS gets bundled into one item so you can get "discovered by" on every single thing in the planet and all the in-depth surface details and all the POI's on every planet with a five second honk” — it's a very bold new suggestion, and it's all yours.

    Have a friend sit outside the station and scoop/limpet your tea as you collect it. Keep going in/out till you get enough. Then have your friend give what he has collected back to you.

    My preferred method of interacting is flying my ship around in space. I prefer that a bit more over messing around with extra maps. Messing around with maps when I feel like it might be a nice additional option though... :)
