Hey Pouf, Thanks for your report - Having looked into this, I believe this has happened due to someone having a Thargoid Probe (and Thargoid Link) in their cargo when passing through Lave. They've then jettisoned this and scanned it with the Comp. Scanner. This has then flagged it as 'Reported' within this system. I've passed this on to be looked into! Stay safe out there o7

Agree and repped. But expect Fdev to implement the easiest workaround.

Minor nitpick but thats an espresso machine, it works on pressure not gravity. Now getting it into the CUP would be a challenge but the machine itself would work just fine in microgravity. Although the mess when your canopy breached would be epic.

Did a brief flight and fire test last night. Not sure what to think yet. Threw together some stuff (prismatic, scabs, sink, huge plasma a couple of packs and two small gimballed beams). A rated thrusters undersized overcharged powerplant and boosted about outside shinrarta while firing at nothing in particular. Felt unique and sorta fun. If anything it had the feel of a bomber. Had no issues firing, boosting and staying under the thermal damage threshold. I imagine it would be pretty decent in the hands of a good pilot. Also had another player fight an outdated (snapshot) Krait of mine. He managed to kill me just fine. Said itís good but canít run a full pa setup. Again zill reserve judgement until itís been tested a bit more but seems good to me.

I somehow understand, but as in RL transporting goods is as if not more important than shooting, no ammo or food/meds = no soldiers/bad soldiers or dying soldiers...been there in RL,no ammo/no food for day's while your enemy has all.

Yep, I have zero issues with the way the Mamba flies. I've had no problems keeping any NPCs in my sights in it... which, possibly, suggests that NPCs could be flying smaller ships a bit better, but I digress. My main issues with the Mamba are, obviously, the heat and the fact that there's no up-side to it being such a big ship, which makes it a big target. If it's intended to be a viable alternative to the FdL, the heat needs sorting out and it needs something to convince me it's a good idea to fly a big ship instead of a smaller one. And if it's not, what is it for?

This is the one game I keep coming back to. Picked up rudder pedals a couple of months ago, and since then, it's been even MORE enjoyable. One of the really cool things about this game is the community. I keep visiting the English-speaking page, British (and American) humour has me crackin' up all the time. Were I to count the times I spewed a mouthful of coffee/tea all over my monitor at work (during a break, I don't slack... ;) ) . . . oh my. :D Then there's the game itself, of course. I LOVE the fact that there is no story I HAVE to follow in order to progress & get cool stuff. I've been playing with my alternate account lately, and now I've got a Python and an FDL -- both without armour, but decently engineered already. I've not been afraid to tinker with loadouts, though I'll put my hand up to STILL being rubbish with Plasma Accelerators . . . no matter how many times I've tried my hands at them. :D

You are doing something wrong. Mining outside a RES site you get very little attention, a little when you first arrive but the T10 will taken them out, and none after than. In a low RES my turrets kill all attackers while my limpets collect the goods, sometime I roll to keep the turrets firing sometimes not. Sometimes the police take out attackers in the low RES before I can collect the bonus money (bounty). Not tried RES levels above that as I'm there to mine not shoot. . I'm using 3 medium beam turrets and have a pair of missiles for back-up but often don't bother to use them; oh and 3 mining lasers.

I ran Windows 2000 for years up to around 2012, hated XP with a passion for all it's gaudiness and bloat. Never had a problem with compatibility in Win2k for games or applications. Took the plunge and installed 7 around 2012 and was pleasantly surprised with it and installed 10 around 2 years ago. Been rock stable every since after uninstalling on the free cr*p like Skype and Candy Crush. For fun and nostalgia, set up an old Windows 98 SE machine a while ago for running legacy apps and games. Forgot just how buggy and unstable it was even on period hardware!

You have a Corvette? Well that's more than enough to play in open without worrying about griefers. Yes there are and it's not like you can do much about it when you are a noob, not that I agree with the OP but saying that there are no gankers is misleading.

agreed and... agreed. I haven't played Euro Truck simulator but as I understand it, the end-game there is, you start hiring NPC drivers and managing them. What if the true end-game for Elite Dangerous is owning a mega ship and dozens of T9s along with NPC crew to send on missions. Maybe owning a surface base too. Basically you'd be your own minor faction. Definitely a different game, but also, definitely interesting.

I thought "faster fsd boot sequence" referred to restarting the fsd after deactivating it. LOL What? The exact opposite is true.
