    7 Which I sincerely hope will be soon, since Frontier prefers to boast about their grown to a 100 man Elite Dangerous team instead of actually using that 100 man strong team and making this game great. Which it can be, since it has much potential.. but yeah... Despite my attitude towards Frontier I'm one of those (idiots) that supported them through and through. But seeing the rate at which this game 'improves' makes me think twice of supporting them any longer.

    The chances of someone coming across you when you’re mining is virtually impossible, unless it’s a well trodden system, and you mine directly in the middle of the hotspot. If you submit to an interdiction, you’ll have a lot of trouble outrunning a commander with a PvP ship, regardless of what you’re flying. The real game is being smart in supercruise.

    Mainly you want thermal resistant boosters in addition to the regular ones. You'll end up near the soft cap on the other resists with engineered shields.

    Thanks for the well-wishes! I hadn't included this in my last update, but I took the liberty of grabbing a screenshot of my planned route - once I managed to rotate the view to include all the waypoints: The long, curving road to Colonia, by way of Beagle Point. I spent the past two days mostly getting out of the Inner Orion Spur, with only the occasional look at the FSS; just jump, honk, and scoop. So nothing in the way of interesting discoveries, but I made good time. It took me close to 70 jumps, including 3 neutron-star boosts, to reach the region border, but finally I was greeted with the message I'd been waiting for: Beyond here lies dragons...

    That depends on how you engineered your shield, what shield you're using, what ship you're using and how many shield boosters you're fitting. It can get a bit complicated.

    After using this some more today I'm pretty sure it's working, but it's subtle. I notice some things missing in SC more than anything else. I still see the targeting circle though in SC with hard mode enabled, and out of all the different things/options, that's what I'm interested in the most. The rest I really don't care about, although having the option is nice.

    I have been playing the game since Gamma, most of that time in my Red Freegle and then my ASP. I just got an Anaconda after 4 years of playing only because I wanted the challenge of piloting a large ship and engineering it. But its not ready for doing anything in its almost stock state. Case in point I was heading to Farseer and got pulled out of SC (super easily I might add, flying brick indeed) and this guy pops my thrusters, then bounces... left me spinning in space. lol. Like he barely tried. 40 seconds in and I was adrift. Lots more to do on this ship, but I am enjoying learning it and engineering it, plus I could rebuy it 100 times over. So for now I am doing most grinding in the ASP and only taking the Conda out when needed.

    So I'm working on unlocking Lei Cheung. Just wondering what upgrades are best. So is Resistance augmented better than going with the single resistant upgrades? I noticed that the individual upgrades give an overall higher resistant but does drop resistant on the other damage types. So is it worth going single or better to get all resistances covered?

    Well, no, but that's because I have so many games to play that I couldn't possibly stick to 1 for long periods of time. It's more X and they always have a point where you've had enough for the moment. It's always going to pick up again when new features are patched or expansions are released. I'll go back to it and leave it several times, just like I do with Elite.

    I tend to switch between using a DC and not. Sometimes it's nice have those few seconds to top up my beverage before getting down to station business. I wouldn't have it as a standard module though. Next it'll be limpet controllers, fuel scoops, kill warrant scanners, etc. I think the penalties of a module slot and the power usage are an appropriate cost for it.

    So should I have at least one point defense on my ship? It's not as maneuverable as a Vette and I'm still trying to perfect my M & KB flying style, meaning I usually sit there and get beat on with the Conda. Point defense(s) would make more sense than a heatsink then I guess? What about a KWS or FWS for the added booty? Would you use one in lieu of an extra shield booster? Cheers bud! Thanks for taking the time to help me out. Edit: Also, is between 55-60% where I should cut off adding resists and stack MJ instead?

    I requested a transfer from my PS4 to my Xbox. The transfer only moved over wealth, money and ship value etc. The. Original CNDR is deleted. They transferred my Xbox wealth to my PS4 and deleted my Xbox CMdR. Which is the account I am playing on now, as I sold my PS4 and hence this whole transfer thing.

    Sounds like you have not set a key / button to "Change HUD Mode" - you will find it listed under "Mode Switches" in your Options / Controls. (How have you managed in the ship then?)

    Sweet! Thanks, that's the kind of thing I need to have on a post-it note stuck to my screen :) I'm currently engineering pairs of each bi-weave I'll be using on my ships, one reinforced, the other thermal, so I'll have all bases covered, ta. Got 10 class A boosters done to 5 but needed to do 15 or so, hah, but it's already better slapping super caps on them all instead of misc. Tried the long range beams out and do like them but the power drain will need some tinkering, I'll stick with efficient just for now until I know what I'm actually doing. And it was very nice to meet you too o7, thanks for all your help, and how concise it is ;)
