Okay so I figured out what the problem was. For one I was in deep space no targets to send a message to no messages from people to send a reply to. When I tried to send a basic local message the newly imported commands where conflicting with one of Astra's Ship Communications commands. The command that was causing the problem was - Quick comms; message - under Ship Communications. Once the semicolon ; and the send part of that command where deleted everything worked properly. I hope this information will help someone that that may run into the same problem I had 07 Commanders.

I know how you feel!! Despite buying and enjoying upgrading a number of ships that she has paid for I still keep flying my Dolphin "La Phin". I just enjoy flying her. They are great for exploration and a very underrated ship, love mine. Safe travels Commander.

Year 2300 and unmanned fighter drone's aren't available ?, defies belief somewhat. Year 1998 UAV's carry out bombing and assassination missions remotely controlled from thousands of miles away via secure data transmission which I'm surprised that nobodies been able to hack, yet.... This is a game right so anythings possible with zero's and one's, what I'm trying to put forward is a decrease in grind in order to make the game a bit more fun, why the need to dock to collect only a credit reward,....make it fun, remove some of the grind whilst retaining realism, more so infact.

Lol. I just visited the first ELW I discovered on one of my first trips... I marked the planet, and nothing else. Some day, some poor explorer is going to stumble upon the system, and get excited. They'll skim over all those planets, and when they get to the last one, a little blue sphere, they'll see it. Yeah. HSLs tend to absorb heat damage first which is a good reason to continue carrying multiple launchers even if you can refil them. When I landed on HD 49368 (1), I lost about half of my heat sinks due to malfunction. In the end, all of my launchers were empty and down to 0% but all of my other modules were still functional. I tend not to try landing in those kinds of places though when I'm out on a long trip carrying a lot of exploration data. On my Trip to Sag A, I needed my HSL only once when I dropped in between two very close stars and was at 110% heat before I even knew what was happening.

If you have a mission to kill them, a pirate will usually open fire on you first. So the ram-cheat isn't an option.

I know what you mean by the Chandrasekhar Limit, but I am not sure that's the correct way to express it. The Chandrasekhar Limit as far as I am aware is a mass limit not a size limit, about 1.4 times the mass of the sun, so a star smaller than the sun could still exceed the Chandrasekhar Limit, as could a star larger than the sun, the elemental composition of the star determines what happens after that I thought, most white dwarfs over the limit turn supernova, those that don't follow the gravitational collapse curve into either Neutron star or black hole. That's how I understood it worked anyway, a quick browse of common sources seem to indicate this is correct. Of course we are conserving momentum as we compress, and since your common Neutron star is a fraction of the size of the original even a slowly rotating star compressed into a neutron star is going to be spinning like a top. Also the Neutron star's magnetic field is different to the earths, the earths magnetic poles can shift, reverse as well,...

I've had the Wireless ED Tracker for about 3 weeks now and it plays extremely well with OpenTrack (I'm using v2.2). I'm still playing with my curves in OpenTrack but it's been excellent from day 1. The only downside (for me) is that I still get occasional "jumps" with the tracking (i.e. it twitches). I'm putting this down to possible Wireless interference, so I'm playing with different Wireless channels and also where I'm placing the USB dongle.

What part of << you can repair whatever heat-damage you incur with the combination of newly introduced hull repair limpets and existing module repair >> did you miss? You must really be bad at exploring then... Also, I'm pretty certain I heard something about being spawned away from binary star systems and such. So far you've really not brought any arguments suggesting you still have any weight on the matter. My bottom seems to do a good enough job at ridiculing you for now.

Same thing happening to me, I can see planetary landing suit on my ship and I managed to import a vehicle from another ship (stations do not sell hangars for me). I dont have access to Holo Me nor the systems panel opens. I also only have access to beta 1.9. Ticket opened too.
