Since none of the stuff except for Star Marine (which again is nothing like the videos we were shown prior to its release) surfaced on the PU so far I concur with that statement and also think that if CiG is unable to show extensive footage from 3.0 gameplay on Gamescon they simply dont have any. "Soon" and "in a few weeks" sound as lame as they are by now and I think CiG got more then enough time now to produce anything. If they didnt maybe its time to swallow the bitter pill (you know....reality) and give up on this project. Star Citizen is an ambitious and grand vision and theres nobody who wouldnt want to have it in his/her hands and play it....sadly, I dont think CRoberts or CiG is the right man/company for it. In their 6th year of development they have burned through an amount of funding that would have resulted in several AAA games from other companies or enabled an untold number of Indie developers to progress with their own games many of which have as much potential (and also show it) as Star...

OP, like many others have said, try a High Intensity Conflict Zone. If you've never done before one I suggest doing it in a wing to start with. Hopefully that'll be more of a challenge for you.

That last bit aboit special effects was because I have a long standing love/hate relationship with the wheel of fortune. :P It does kinda make sense though. If you want Reverberating Cascade torpedoes, you'd need to synthesise them. Each time. Lol (Sometimes my ideas are cruel) CMDR Cosmic Spacehead

Sure, and while I'm not expecting a distinction, how do you distinguish chains of chains (i.e the second chains), from chains (the first chain)? Intuitively, you probably can't, and that's the problem I'm alluding to. If you're in Beta spamming missions in the hopes of generating a chain, then spamming those chains for more chains, how do you tell the difference between a chain from a base mission, versus a chain of a chain, without very careful one-for-one mission running, which would be painful. Conversely, if the chain chance was set to 100% like in the last beta, you could run a single mission, get a chain from that, and then easily identify the secondary chain

Don't know your budget - but the fuel scoop I suggested is very expensive - can easily be swapped out for a cheaper one as suggested by Alexander Jackie Silver.

    1. Mate. Its not just the 3500 Pounds figure. Its an overall case as well as the overall Calculations behind it. Because they make little to no sense if you add them up. 2. Immigration Restrictions always affect everyone. If you try to prevent Unskilled Immigration you will need Checks and other hurdles for skilled workers to overcome. So the Idea of only getting the "Good" Immigrants and keeping the "Bad" Immigrants out is pretty much a pipe dream. 3.

Did someone misplace a decimal for the tonnage requirements for this goal? It just seems out of sorts for such a short duration regardless of the top contributor reward.

First job select a route to another system in the galmap, make sure you have a next system in route key set and make sure the system isn't obscured by a planet. If things go wrong or your shields might drop retract weapons hit your next system key and then high wake. Do it early rather than take hull damage. You can also low wake out just to let your shields recharge (twice as fast in SC), but you can be mass locked and the instance will reset so any number advantage your side had will be lost. Evade with 4 pips in eng whilst boosting until you jump with either. Once you can run away effectively death becomes optional. Everything else has already been said but the most important thing is stick with the greens and don't run really a hot ship, stay mobile evade all the time even in one of the big three. Edit : the anaconda's fine for solo'ing high intensity CZ's as long as you don't get yourself isolated.

Oh I do hear ya there. CG's never really give a big bonus until higher tiers are reached though. The real money in a trade CG is just that, the trade part.

Had a similar error a while ago after a long period of mission board and trading I decided to do some mining. Back to home base, swap out some cargo racks for my mining gear and head out to my favourite mining spot. several jumps later arrive at destination, line up for the inner most ring and drop from supercruise. Locate a tasty looking asteroid and try and prospect it, deploy hard points, burst lasers, multi cannons, missile pods hmm where are my mining lasers......... . Back to home base, swap the missile pods for my mining lasers, back to the ring, prospect an asteroid, happy with the content of the chunk I go to deploy a prospect limpet..... NO LIMPETS! Id installed the limpet controllers but forgotten to load any limpets! Find a nearby station to buy some limpets and finally i am ready.....

It seems that many of you with opinions about why this is possible on PS4 don't have much knowledge about hardware capabilities, not to mention coding. I don't expect to see PSVR support on either the vanilla or pro flavours - the PS4 is simply not capable of running ED with the required processor overhead to maintain a consistent and stable refresh rate, and because of that Sony will reject it. PC software doesn't have the same licensing requirements. I'll eat my right nut if ED appears in its current form on PSVR before PS5 arrives. If you want VR, go buy a PC. You're expecting way too much from a console VR solution costing less than £600!

Well, to a point he is not wrong. The simpler and easier a F2P game is to get into and to hook a player the easier it is to gain money. Making it complicated can give it a treshold that makes them loose money. Path of Exile avoids this by simply having quality of life solutions.

As an Alliance pilot since early 3301 I was shocked when I knew about the happenings in Lave. I like Lave Radio, they seem to be fine people. Now I should fight them? Didn´t like the idea. I debated if I should get involved in this. It was an interesting moral dilemma. When I joined the Alliance I did it because I don´t believe in any human being better than any other. You see, the problem with big power structures is that they take the capacity of decision too far away from the individual, underestimating his or her intelligence. This is not justifiable in the 33rd century, and this is the reason why I work to liberate systems of the oppression of the federal and imperial state machines. The Alliance on the other part is just an umbrella for different communities, big or small, who decide to keep the capacity of decision closer to their members. My opinion is that, in the end, coordinated efforts of well organized, if small, groups can help humans grow in the galaxy. Considering all this, it took me...

Precisely this. It's the homogeneity that's the real problem here. ED already has all the component parts to make the galaxy heterogeneous: Security levels, system states, government types should all play a much larger role in what type of encounters happen in a system. You can then have systems where MoM's minions are let for the leash whilst in others they are safely caged.

Muchas gracias.

Yup, this. I keep debating this in my head, but still come up with the fact that the time saved not getting closer to the planet would far outway the time saved by being able to scan it faster. CMDR Jamlaw o7

Well, from my point of view, recovering wreckage component and personal effects are not included in rescue tasks. So I consider these "missions" a mixture between rescuing and scavenging

Sim master race hey? Nice work dude, that's not an idiotic generalization at all. Otherwise yeah I don't see this going F2P, I think CIG would baulk at the idea of giving users access to content for free, those access weekends notwithstanding.

That seemed to be the case in the Beta. I'm sure it was split into 3 sections; chains, available, unavailable.
