Apologies if this has been mentioned but depending on what server youre in, near the thargoid base you may have noticed either skeletons or full structures around the edge, in some servers the scavengers which you may have seen are, people are saying repairing but i believe theyre breaking whatever they are, down for resources, and in some servers you see remnants of that. Sorry if its been said but im rather intrigued as to what they are.

The irony is Delaine is probably one of the most dynamic powers and responsible for most of Powerplays action. For at least half the time Archon was being attacked by several powers at once and fighting back as well.

Hi Riz yes, I am becoming aware of this new evidence as I slowly catch up on the page backlog, but that evidence wasn't on the thread when I responded to the OP. :)

I ran missions, cargo mostly in a little area of the bubble that I quite like, I also liked to shoot skimmers but didn't cheat. I folloz the rulzs. What I do now is that I pick a transport mission, complete the mission then take the highest paying mission at the destination station and see where it leads, sometimes it will be (but not always) another transport mission so I do the same at the next station and the next. It's amazing where you wind up!

Nice guide! I've added it into the "Misc' other useful and/or interesting links" section. While I was there I've also added furrycat's guide to engineering your ship for racing plus the Buckyball Fllight Academy (a collection of handy tips and tricks on how to race ... although sadly not on how to spell!).

I won't use voice comms on the PC it is so bad. If FD thinks it adds authenticity they are wrong unless it is WWII they want to replicate.

There are only about 10 frequent posters in here and I would venture only about half of them are really into the "Everything CiG does is bad / immoral / shady". So it is a tiny subset of gamers in here, nothing statistically significant. The only difference is that round here... something radiates... (oops sorry, sidetracked) I mean that posting here, is a relatively unbalanced experience. Nobody needs to preface a post with their good backer credentials to avoid the wrath of the mob :)

Thanks for the heads up Alec :) For many of us out exploring the events happening in or near the bubble are interesting but something that I for one would like to see when I return. I know people are excited at the discovery, all I ask for is a little consideration for others. :)

They said that they will develop further if we the players like it and use it. Funny, they never mentioned that multicrew, even in its current pathetic form, is completely broken. It blew my mind once when a friend hopped in my ship and while in a private group, he faced countless bugs, from finding himself in helm position, to not able to switch to gunner, to fsd problem messages, to constant disconnects and me struggling in the mc menu to try and call him back and both of us relogging and restarting clients just to show him a nice site. When we finally got there i had to wait kindly for him to decide and leave the ship, for me to be able and deploy my srv because nooo.. together no srv's. And i dont want to mention multicrew for pvp in a cg system. It is just impossible honestly. And the worst thing will ofc be the guy at some point after me, that will post something like: but i use mc every day and works fine.

Zulu Romeo replied to a thread CQC dead? in Close Quarters Combat
You do actually earn credits in CQC. Sure, not enough to pay back a rebuy for the average veteran's ship in a hurry, but credits are credits. I do think more credits would entice players in. Much in the same way exploration data got a buff recently. Having spoken to Sandro at Lavecon last weekend, we both agreed that what CQC needs at the moment, new features be damned, is more players to achieve critical mass and prevent matches pitching newbies and hardened veterans against each other. Official livestreams are one way to do this, but organising player-based regular community nights like what EDC have done in the past, and what the CQC Discord does frequently each evening at about 1900 IGT, helps a lot.

Aye. I mean I can only speak for myself, as much as I like the idea of multicrew, as a mainly solo pilot (as I think many are) I just don't really see myself using it beyond the initial curiosity of trying it out. My feeling is Frontier believe that they need to encourage multiplayer activities for the longevity of the game. Maybe they are right, I dunno, but atm I just like doing my own thing.
