I'm not sure it's increased at all - once every other month or so is about what I've always had to do. I just put it down to Windows doing something in the background or the planets being misaligned or something.

just compare your wife's expediture in shoes, clothing, makeup and the rest and compare it to your meager expenses. Why do you really have to ASK? A good computer is always useful. But a stationary is both cheaper, better and upgradeable.

Probably a faction state change. It happens - just have to find a new one.

You can just imagine them all sitting in the Type 9, after a heavy drinking session. 'Dude....we need more wine...' 'Yeah more wine! , i'm to wrecked to fly man' 'Me too, anyone here able to fly? Nahhhhh 'I wish they delivered wine' 'Me to, i know, I KNOW!

Your shift button can be any button, not just the pinkie trigger. Personally, I like the pinkie trigger as secondary fire, and used the D button on the throttle as my shift key.

Not really sure what you mean here by "easy mode", it's not as if I'm requesting an autopilot for all the waypoints in a route- but rather just a charted course to follow instead of the simple "point A to point B" we have currently, for which needs to be changed again as soon as you hit your destination. A simple course plot that ticks of destinations as soon as you arrive- so you can plan out routes accordingly for multiple destinations, you know- so when you have umpteen missions in 10 different systems you can make it more efficient?

Hey Zantor, Thanks for the report. If you contact our customer support team about this they can check your account to see if this was the result of a bug or firing on an npc that wasn't fully scanned: Customer support]

How is it wrong? lol, it's like being in ark survival, and 98% of your game time is revolved around building a pick, farming trees so you can actually start harvesting other materials to play the other 2% of the game :p 98% tree harvesting, 2% for the rest: survival, taming dinos, building awesome homes, exploration, war... Irrelevant of my opinion, the selling point of ED for me was the stellar forge, and tools just make it happen. I didn't subscribe to an infinite universe to spend it in one small area of the bubble grinding rep, or credits for years! (luckily i'm ok, but several friends burned out, sadly).

Naming a system gives you no advantage in the game, any more than naming your ship. Consider the underlying cause of these threads. There is some frustration among the community about how long development is taking, and some about the direction it is taking. We all want different things to be given top priority but we all want what we want sooner rather than later. Some of us have already paid, some of us are willing to pay more to get the thing done.

I haven't had this happen as frequently as before recently since my OP- but I've noticed speeding or boosting has no effect on the occurrence. When it was happening- I was leaving the station at a normal rate of speed, trying to line up with my FSD target system, and as I was lining up they'd come zooming up at me (themselves boosting) and scanning at the same time. Then they'd hit me and cause me to have a fine for "flying recklessly". It's almost like a police officer tailgating you, running your license plate number then ramming into you before they even turn the wailers on to pull you over (then charging you for themselves hitting you). It's most likely the rubber banding bug- as a way to prevent people from being able to escape dock without being scanned with illicit cargo or something. Oh, and I have never done smuggling so I have no idea why they'd be so aggressive with me either. Perhaps it's part of the newest C&P changes?

But it's what there is. Until Frontier change the bounty levels making the police go strictly for the highest bounty target would make them largely ignore PvP crimes. The first problem with basing player kill bounties on the rebuy paid by the victim is that the ships least able to defend themselves against an attacking player have lower rebuys. So you can shoot new Sidewinders all day long and have trouble getting even a million in bounty, for instance. Similarly, within a ship class, blowing up an exploration Anaconda gets you a 5 million-ish bounty, while blowing up a combat Anaconda gets you a 40-million ish bounty - despite the combat Anaconda having much more opportunity to get away safely. ---

Hey SD48, This mission increases your exploration rank not trade rank. This sounds like its working as intended.

I'm starting this thread following a little discussion on EDTracker started in the BRC - Yggdrasil race thread, not nice to derail a thread when a brand new rail can be built for it. :P Main advantages it gives are the roll indeed (not really necessary, but adds that bit more of free head movement that helps with immersion), but mostly for me the possibility to keep the mouse widget (the little dot in the center of the screen) enabled with freelook, something that doesn't seem possible using only the EDTracker UI. I also agree with jumpingclear on the better response curves and filtering, but this is also a very subjective matter so your mileage may vary with that.

like Shadowdancer said it's not downward thrusters accelerating your srv but the planets very own gravity. you can reduce your drop speed by using the boost thrusters your srv has.

I found my driving has evolved naturally in much the same direction your video shows but with a bit more caution as I am far aware with only the single SRV. When I get back I'm going to give this racing thing a real go. For some reason I find 'kissing' that perfect slope to launch you back up again very satisfying :D How long before we can engineer SRV's?
