Hi everyone again Could anyone enlighten me with regards to a codex glitch regarding Prasinum Bioluminescent Anemone's ... Ive found some in the Empyrean Straits sector. When I scan them the codex is immediately updated as Reported & Confirmed by myself. In other words "first discovered" in this sector. Then when I log out of the game and back in, it forgets the discovery and the codex once again shows it's not been found yet in this sector. When I re-scan the Anemone it again updates showing the the original date and time of discovery. Only to loose it again if I log out ..... This is the third time on this trim alone the codex is messing around, alone with Helium Rich GG's and White Dwarf's .....

Havenít noticed that myself, but even tho I was at Ce Bootis yesterday I wasnít taking missions. Just there in my T6 ambulance sucking up mats and escape pods. But on regular mission boards I havenít noticed this. If anything they flip too fast, trying to chase a rank mission that changed every time I changed ships was an experience lol. But I really do think one thing FDEV needs to do, that a lot of people have asked for since the implementation of wind missions, is to put wing missions on their own board like passenger missions. So much of the board is taken up by wing missions it really limits what a solo pilot can do.

I also fully agree with this.

I've long ago passed Elite status in Exploring, and followed the fleet for a large majority of the trip so far. I just wanted to see if I could possibly be the first into a very historic Station that will forever more be an 'anchor' port at the center of the galaxy. When the server ticked, and I was that close to the station, it was a really exciting moment for me as I've played this game for a very long time. I was so excited in fact, that I accidentally lingered outside the opening for a few seconds too long and got a 200CR fine that put me in Anonymous Access mode....lol. Frontier had to remove the 200CR for me, as the station had no means of paying it. It was also fun to report to the Fleetcom channel in Discord everything that was happening. Memorable evening. I now have more than enough time to backtrack and see all the POI that I jumped over. Happy Travels, Commanders. o7

If mid 60's brutalism isn't your cup of tea (and it isn't for most) then I'd agree. But run inside and don't look around, you will forget all about the outside once you are in. Never let a bit of ugly and dirty old concrete put you off from what is always a great event. Plus those who come can check out my freshly arrived Pimax 5k+ as well. :)

Well, because they've already stated publicly that they are focusing on just land dinosaurs, at least for the moment.

Iíve called Artemis Lodge in Calaeno home for the past year or so, but I logged in last week to find myself in a rescue ship and a significant number of my favourite ships languishing in a burning station. Iíve always been xeno-neutral in my gameplay, but now this is personal.:D

Yep fair play, this was probably just happenstance then, and I've never replicated it. My recollection is that it did actually produce combat bonds, which reinforced the impression, but I'm possibly mis-remembering and it was just the rep being correctly aligned with the defending faction. On the war zone yep there were two CZs near the installation / local planet yep. (I'm still essentially perplexed by the defend / attack locales ;). Do wish they were actually designated fighting points as they appeared to be on this occasion.)

nobody is disputing that, people are just (justifiably) expressing disappointment regarding decision making, the process and the results of FD's software delivery

I do everything I want to do in solo or a pg now. If I want to fly in open I just don't do it in a highly populated location or one of the starter systems if I have a trade run going there. You'll never get rid of ganking completely but it can be curbed a bit if the rebuy was eliminated for ganking and they got a permanent wanted status put on them with a high credit bounty that followed the commander and not the ship.

Agreed that FD have done a great job with the new CZs and scenarios. As usual some of the best particular updates are taken for granted quickly and receive little praise, similar to when the SLFs first came out. Now the CZs have some nice structure along with the great sound design as usual. I also like the extra events that can occur such as the hunter ships, or defending/attacking journalist observer ships, and the occasional task to take out a heavy cruiser's power nodes to force it to leave. It's an achievement that ED can run these varied scenarios for a cmdr instance among any myriad populated system.

Applied to join 2 different Squadrons for the same reason a few weeks ago & still not accepted. Maybe the system is still broken.

Any tips on finding HGEís? Iíve been to a whole lotta systems and scanned the beacons at outbreak systems and high tech high pop systems and so far, not one HGE :/ I figured to heck with it Iíll go to Comp Bacons and Haz Resí and blow up big ships. But I havenít seen any big ships either, just medium and small NPCís. No Condas, Vettes or cutters after hours. I like the scan mechanic of the new system, but if g5 Mattís are gonna be more rare than unicorn turds it doesnít do much good :/

Hah! Guilty as charged. Exploration is often long and lonely. It's heartbreaking when you lose weeks (or even months) of in-game progress. All that time, wasted. :(

On that same note, please don't shoot other ships with mining equipment either. I didn't remember the name of who was doing it, but someone was firing abrasion blasters at my unmanned ship while I was in the fighter. I don't think it was doing any shield damage, but I kept getting spammed with the "Ship under attack!" messages.

This with dropping data and others to collect it is problematic. I do think that we should be able to recover our data, regardless if it is exploration, bounties, etc. if you had a NPC pilot, or cargo, these would drop here too. Cargo should some % due to the ship destruction, and if pirate killed you, they would pick up the parts of the cargo depending on how much the can carry. So a pirate eagle steal very little, but a Pirate Anaconda/Corvette, could potentially pick all cargo that you dropped. This will not make it easy mode, and you would have to go back and collect it. in other words, go back and search for your encrypted beacon signal, and then you have to go there and look for the wreck, canisters etc. This mechanism could be a new addition to FSS, that requires skills or time to locate your beacon...as I said, no easy mode. Player incentive is how much do you want to get it back, and is it worth the effort...

22 February 3305 Captains Log So after much tought, some videos seen, lots of research and some more exploration done, i set my mind, im tired of that ugly look of the Anaconda, and there is a ship that i feel fits the bill as what i expect and want of a ship to do what im doing as exploration goes. So i sold the anaconda, passing all the equipment that fits to a brand new Type 10 Defender. As such, i close this post, since ill be going for quite some time after the improvement and refinement of the build i added to that ship, as engenieering goes. Ill see u all in my next time out, wich will be a surprise probrably for some, since i found there is a flaw in the exploration done so far that needs to be set straight and i think i can totally take care of that with this ship the way i like to play.
