Too sensible. Dosen't annoy enough people. A snowflake might get their fee-fee's hurt and need counseling. Take your pick.

There are other issues with using the mouse to control the scanner. If you play windowed fullscreen with a second monitor, as you use the mouse the cursor drifts onto the second screen meaning you then need to move it back.. Makes it almost unusable. Dunno why they could’nt have the mouse act as a pointing device like in the gal map. Right click scroll, left right button tune, scroll wheel zoom... How hard can it be...

News because barnards star 2nd closest star to our own. Large planet that's very cold (most likely) but it's possible to have a thick atmosphere (tbc) in which case is possibly close enough to warrant future examination as science develops ability to ascertain atmospheres of other worlds and composition of gases etc. Closer to Earth the better for the science I should think

How about getting rid of the filter completely? If someone uses foul / abusive / insulting language we can report him. Being reported three times would get your chat and ship naming rights revoked for a month, in extreme cases they should ban the entire account. Should be a little bit more effort for support but I'd say it's worth it, first because it would fix the not working filter and second because it would remove people from the game who don't have a place in this community.

Makes sense for a game about sport. Funny enough, I can see Frontier pitching the idea to themselves that this actually is a kind of sports game.

Browsing the Suggestion & Feature Request forum and the Beyond - Chapter Four 3.3 Beta Feedback one finds dozens of threads asking for (variations of) the same basic idea: give us a single module/bay to control all the many different kinds of limpets that are now in game. This request has gone up significantly now that we've seen how the new mining will work, as well as knowing how many of the new scenarios will require you to have this or that kind of limpet (Repair, Refuel...) to complete them. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that it's easily a new feature that almost everyone agrees it would be necessary to have, from pirates to miners, from Fuel Rats to explorers and xenoresearchers. Back in January 2018 Steve Kirby said here on the forum that they you investigate the possibility of "Design Limpet Controller Bay Module to prevent player having to use up too many slots in ship holding limpet controllers". In the intervening 10 months we heard nothing at all about this idea. Why? I...

Currently we can be on the planet that is being baked by its star or one that is colder than Antarctica but they all feel the same. A temperature gauge inside the SRV would go a long ways towards immersion. Even better if there were some effects, such as smoke and steam on high temp worlds and iced windows on extremely cold worlds.

All I want to ask RTX owners - how do you feel right now?:) Don't be early hardware adopters. It almost never works out for the consumer. You are a testing platform.

Defense is disproportionately stronger than attack in Elite. Do you know why 'balanced' fights tend to last 10's of minutes? Just because you die in your Coriolis suggested Asp, doesn't mean that it's an imbalance issue. If you have a basic knowledge of how to submit, evade, and highwake, combined with even a slight knowledge of defense mechanics, you can avoid a gank 9 times out of 10. If you want to play Elite: *Dangerous* (it's in the name), and play in Open mode, you must make sacrifices to survive. And the sacrifices are few. 1. Shield. 2. Boosters. 3. Proper core internals. That's about it. Suddenly AFK when they're about to be killed? Or when taking damage? Yeah, right-o hahaha. The amount of games you can't just quit when you're taking damage is astounding, so why not in Elite? Post below your current build you nearly died in. (Using Coriolis, or EDSY.)

No. 400 billion star systems is still 400 billion star systems. That's a lot of star systems. It doesn't matter how far a ship can jump. A jump is a jump. You'd still need to jump 400 billion times in order to investigate every star system in the galaxy - ain't no one got time for that. Literally. Then on top of that, there's at least 1 star in every one of those star systems - and a strong likelyhood of there being more than one Thing in them. So there's lots to find out and do.

Two new ships are coming out this week, and there are many things such as different ship builds to be tested in the game. While I enjoyed the 3.1 beta in which the cost of every blueprint is only one nickel, it has been such a long time that I miss these chances to engineer what I want in the game. I would appreciate it if we could have another chance like that during the 4th week of this beyond beta test. I would be happy to get any reply.

Managed just fine, meaning outside the meetups i didnt have any situations where i was even close losing my SRV. All my SRV explosions was caused by that well known bug during meetups. And since support can replace those, i dont see any reason for taking 4 SRVs. ;)
