As far as I know this can't be done as windows knows where everything is installed. I only install single player games thru steam and install MP games seperately so steam configs do not interfere with my installation or game options. I am not that up to date with the newer stuff so I wouldn't take my word for it.

I thought about that but it either creates opportunities to exploit by getting infinite ADS and infinite range surface resolution, or it forces Frontier to code a "system map reset" if you switch scanner sets OLD=>NEW after the initial ADS honk. A reset could work, but then you should have to carry around all 4 scanners.

That was in Frontiers plans anyway to put Aegis into Sol, to later attack Sol with goids.

As for me I still got a GTX 660 card, I was thinking about upgrading, but here is the main reason why people are less likely to upgrade. Though that have generation 4 and up computers the processors are fast enough to handle the anything above the Nvidia GTX 1080 and AMD equivalent cards. Those that have the Intel 1, 2, 3 generation, computers some of the higher levels of 2 and 3 generation is still barely at the edge of the gaming computer range are afraid of upgrading their cards because the computers are about 5 years old and you can get a new proccessor for the same price as the lower end of the new old generation 1060 1070 1080 bridge cards I like to call it. Until the price drops a lot in though bridge cards its easier to buy a new computer and cheaper if your computer is at least 5 years old, because would you want t upgrade to a 1000 series card now just to have to buy a new computer a year or two later. I don't think poeple generally put old cards into new computers even when they are built from...

CitizenCon will indeed be epic. None of us know what delights await within, and as CIG have been all quiet I'm expecting something big to emerge. ATV tomorrow will be interesting.

Hi CMDRs I'm not sure if this is the right place for this sort of question but here goes. I would like to move my entire ED installation from my C: drive partition (now too full to accept updates or anything else really), to my D: drive partition (almost empty). Is there any way I can do this without a full re-installation of ED? It's downloaded through Steam if that makes any difference.

Something I thought you might find amusing, given that you say on the main site "I enjoy hearing about how you use this data". Well, I have a pretty unusual use, specifically using your online commodity price data to determine the value of trades with Villagers in a Minecraft mod: https://github.com/ReikaKalseki/ChromatiCraft/blob/master/Magic/Artefact/UATrades.java#L58-L80 URL url = new URL("https://eddb.io/archive/v5/commodities.json"); //dynamically load the prices from eddb, so that the ones in CC can match the ones in E: D in real time, because :D Reader r = ReikaFileReader.getReader(url, 5000, this, null); if (r == null)

That's kinda included in the "ISSUES" section about USS functionality. The default sensor suite (which will still function in 3.3) has a range of 1000Ls for persistent signal sources, which is still very functional and useful for most systems upon entering them, or shortly after. The new system has a potentially infinite range, but it looks like that infinite range might depend on using the energy distribution filter to find them which takes a little bit of time as well (the Devs used the word "skill" to describe finding them).

Electrified fences or steel fences should not break to the point of disappearing when they have been attacked, their debris should remain on the ground. The Raptors should climb the fences as an escape attempt (JPOG) and not break them with the head (they are intelligent dinosaurs), the Dilophosaurus as it is a small carnivore should not break the fences completely (like the Gallimimus and their relatives), should stretch and disfigure them to cross them, but not to break them as if they were dinosaurs of great body size. -The Jeep Rangers should be destructible. -DLC of JP'93. (Visitor center, safari tour, "Raptor Pen", other things). -Skins for the ACU Helicopter.

i've looked through the original CnP release thread along with a search for 'interstellar bounty' but came up short with an explanation... i've been less then lawful recently racking up quite a large bounty, 6 million so far, but received an interstellar bounty of around 10K for someones murder. i believe it was an npc attempting to collect as i remember the message upon his death sounding a bit different, mentioning 'federal' i think but i wasn't paying close attention. but it shows up in my right panel as interstellar bounty under federation and as a separate bounty on the left panel than the larger 6 mil regular bounty. my question is what is it? how did i get it? could the bounty hunter have been a federal ship? i've taken out dozens of federal security but never got an interstellar bounty and i can't find any information about it. more curious than anything as i have no real plans of clearing it anytime soon, just want to understand the mechanics. also, it doesn't seem to change anything. federal...

I like to imagine in the 34th century we have computers capable of driving an object from A to B without hitting anything and setting off an alarm if we are attacked....just me maybe.

So, 'people like us', and by extension 'people like them'? Sad really, and like Red Anders, despite being presumably 'one of them' I too don't watch Netflix while playing Elite. Presumably not hardcore enough... :D
