I've been off exploring the fringes of the galaxy for months. I hit my turnaround point a couple of weeks ago and headed home. I found a couple of neutron stars in back-to-back jumps. I haven't seen one in something like 5 months. I got so excited planning my route through the jets and boosting, that I forgot to scan the neutron stars! Oops! There goes a few hundred thousand credits. :o

I got a copy from my MA teacher, on my 40th birthday, when I thought I had become too old/injured to succeed at anything physical. Was wrong about that as well, but it is finally becoming true.

FAS would typically be biweaves since the shield modifier kind of sucks anyhow. I have two FDLs with one of each. The biweaves will regen more MJs over time but the prisms handle PAs/rails much better. Biweave is a more skill oriented FDL build by most peoples' reckoning.

I'm not aware of one currently. However, looking in my copy of the data, I have 644 systems that are beyond +/- 2900. I could probably build a spreadsheet report or something.

I don't have the numbers but I'm guessing I've topped the total time for all Bethesda games I've played with ED by now, Skyrim, Fallout3/4/New Vegas,it would be close anyway, and I did play those games a lot. Says something that's for sure.

Actually the Ships we got have a Hull that should easily Withstand Atmospheric Entry. A Space Shuttle would never Survive even a Single hit from the Weapons and Collissions that these Ships currently Survive. Especially in Proximity to the Sun any Space Shuttle which in fact can Reentry the Atmosphere in Reality. Would long be Smoldering Crisps before the Ships we got even start running into Overheating Issues. So I doubt that this is it.

The following is a list of QoL requests based on my personal experience and suggestions I’ve seen while viewing the forums. Open commentary on my list is welcomed, and I encourage you to point out anything I may have missed on my list. This week’s topic is: Limpets Limpets are the workhorse of Elite, and are a fundamental element involved with many gameplay avenues. From mining, salvaging, and piracy, to life saving repairs and refuels limpets are a staple of many gameplay options. With the addition of new content to the game new varieties of limpets have been added, such as recon and research limpets. In the current state, limpets perform their gameplay function as intended. However, they could be much more versatile and user-friendly. Below are QoL suggestions that I feel would improve the functionality, ease of use, and reduce frustration involved with the current implementation of limpets. Universal Limpet Controllers

History Books are Written by the Victors. And many Victors will leave out Details on their own Shortcomings. Many People look back and are Horrified by how Badly Germany Treated Jews. Yet barely anyone mentions how Germans were Treated in the USA or how Indians were Treated in India by the United Kingdom. Even the Gulags in the Soviet Union have only become a Topic for History in the west after the Cold War broke out and thus the Soviets became Enemies. And when nowdays Countries still hold Festivals for the Army the Western World looks there with Horror. Not understanding how they could possibly praise these Monsters. Not Realizing that to them these Monsters were the very Freedom Fighters that the Western Alliance likes to claim themselves to be. Because they had been living Suppressed under similar Conditions as Jews in Germany and thus as they were not Jews often could lead a better Life and have far more Rights and Justice than they could have ever dreamed about before.

Literally: on an island. During WWII, we were a British colony, and some of my countrymen fought for the Empire. One pilot died in a Spitfire. My grandfather helped the US build a naval base, and it was a long standing tradition here that we were on the right side. It was generally assumed that the Americans were too, from the start, a view that persisted for decades because of popular culture. There were no TV shows or movies in which there was ambiguity about US moral purpose until the 70's. I guess Nixon and Vietnam tipped things over irretrievably. I was about 10 at that point.

Burst lasers are fine. They have slightly better DPS (other than the rapid fire mod) than pulse lasers, generate more heat, and have slightly better energy efficiency. They are a sort of middle ground between pulses and beams (which have even more DPS and heat generation, with worse efficiency). They don't really need to be unique. I do like the idea that you suggested, but I don't think it should replace the burst laser. Maybe tweak it a bit and use it as a tech broker weapon? That said, the rapid fire mod for burst lasers should probably also increase burst RoF.

I wrote it already when the lawsuit was filed: CT wants to end SC as quickly as possible, as it harms the reputation of their main product CryEngine. SC is having the exact opposite effect of what they wanted to achieve with the Kickstarter promo.
