See, from my opinion, I'm at the place that there should be no acceptable compromise with PVE players. I've always played in a way where PVE is PVP, and PVP is PVE. All of my PVE and PVP activities always intertwine. And, as Zoft aptly put it. PVP players would not do PVP, without knowing the risks tied to it. It's only the PVE players who choose to make choices that they are not prepared to accept. It is only they, who generally are the ones so obsessed with finding their next grind, that they don't take pause to learn to play the game itself.

Jajajaja! Cuando quieras compañero, el otro día me invitó un líder de la Alianza para cazar un elefante muy exótico por allí, creo que es de pelo azul con 6 ojos, le voy a llamar para decirle que tú también vienes, jajajaja.

My main doesn't have a "home system", and never did. I live out of my ship. With an Elite rating, I do usually use the facilities at Shinrarta Dezhra for fittings and storage, but I almost never take missions or otherwise involve myself with the local affairs there. My alt is pledged to Denton Patreus, but I still tend to jump between Achenar, Eotienses, and a number of other systems in Imperial space to find missions. I honestly find the whole concept ridiculous.

I asked a dev once for more outpost cargo CZ's, that fell on def ears. Imagine asking for cargo or combat cz's on small pad only outpost, that could be a hoot. Big ship owners would cry like little girls.

if you mess with the logout timer too much more people will just have network problems and crashes. I run a system with 8 gigs of RAM and virtual memory turned off. Sometimes opening a browser window or some automated background task will start up and crash Elite instantly. Sometimes my wifi craps out. Sometimes I lose my DHCP lease and my IP address changes.. stuff happens.

This is probably the most reasonable solution I have ever seen for combat logging. It might not be the perfect solution to combat logging, but it is better than what we currently have in-game and every other suggested fix I've seen. Now if only FDev did something like this whenever they detect an 'ungraceful exit' from the game....

2.8% of players buy DLC from the store. They're the only 2.8% that actually matter.

Jealous? Commander Barron was/is ummm almost nuts! :) Mushing is very, very dangerous; it's soooooo cold.... you can die out there. Seriously. No wonder he PvPs. PvP is like Disneyland compared to mushing. I admit though, I am jealous of his dogs. Sledding dogs are so beautiful and so smart. Imagine being able to snuggle with so much fur. Sigh...... too bad the Iditarod isn't in San Diego.

To be clear I wasnt upset, annoyed definitely but it aint like I lost sleep over it I was just hoping someone who was bored and better outfitted would make the trip to put him down. I understand getting attacked. Im totally down for pvp its why Im in open to begin with. I was posting for warning because ambushing at a tourist beacon is a bit of low brow behavior even for pvp. Since pvp is about a fight laying in wait at a tourist beacon isn't looking for a fight its looking to gank hence why I posted the warning. As for flying with no shields and weapons I was in a type 6 which has the same hard points as a Sidewinder so they are pointless. And as for no shields, I was running the Robigo run, I was using that slot for passengers. But right thanks again for the people that were being helpful as I was also just trying to be helpful and offer fair warning. Addendum: I love pvp. I seek it out in every sort of game I play. In a game like this though, with other play modes, people should be...

Per OP, I'm fine with the cutter and it's clean, more sparse look where the imperial ship bridges look more like the Enterprise-refit spic'n'span 70's style than Alien & Star Wars Nostromo & Falcon clutter style. I think Frontier has done a wonderful job depicting different manufacturer styles and lore influences with the interiors of the ships. While the 747 has fewer steps for engines-on than some of the other heavies, assuming APU is already on phase, there's still a number of steps to get to ready-for-pushback, taxi then takeoff configuration. While more ED players could be a sim step above general players in gaming, I'd doubt most would care to be this sim-freaker for ED ship controls. Anyways, I'd think generally ED ships' controls are more like everyday commodity cars as in easier to get it off and running to landing with few necessary steps with a whole bunch of systems streamlined and automated. And to be seen if someday with spacelegs there could be optional repair or specific control...

Great. Do you have any mathematical function on calculating shield resistance (T/K/E/ABS) of different shield booster blueprints and on how shield boosters stack?

Hi, I love the Vulture and it would be awesome if there were a small hardpoint to fit a single feedback cascade rail to counter scbs. Otherwise please add feedback cascade to a large weapon nerfed properly. What do you think?

Decidedly giving you a non-answer, but FD will almost certainly never give you a specific answer, because there is no answer, it's whatever FD's whim on the day is. (although that'd be a bad business model, to change the EULA on a daily basis). Take something simple, like having multiple accounts. Elite Dangerous, totally fine. EVE, possibly even encouraged. But there's many games where just having multiple accounts (multis) is a bannable offence. Scamming in EVE? Fine. Scamming in Guild Wars 2? Ban. Scamming in ED? Does such a thing even exist? Towards that end, defeating "The Experience" sounds pretty much like the Elite Dangerous equivalent of a prejudicial conduct charge; a catch-all for whatever their rules don't cover.

No engagement rings for you? No truffles? No fine art? No vintage wine? No Cristal? No gambling? No iPhone X? Hey. it's ok... I'm just saying there are plenty of things that cost more than $800 you can't sit inside, and everybody has different budgets. But sometimes things are worth the experience, just don't put yourself out doing it.
