    This is only applied for Open and PvP. He is stating that PvE plays next to zero a role and the 15 second timer will not reset when taking damage from NPCs. So the not-so-only way to prevent this is simply not to PvP. There is an option to ensure this. This is why it can be considered and ultimately FDev has stated that logging is an exploit. They don#t do anything about it but speaking officially it is an exploit and undesired. Though FDev is incapable of fixing it. Lack of know-how and/or investments are the origins of this.

    I would choose the rebuy as I'm not a cheater tho, as would many others who don't mind it when they have up and have to pay the price. Besides, if the changes were made that were suggested, you wouldn't try logging out in a dangerous area and would leave the site or send your ship to orbit and log off in your SRV to prevent such a thing from happening in the first place.

    Even after the update, I'm sorry to report the issue is still occurring and may have gotten worse. It no longer corrects itself every time I save an exit. Now I sometimes have to shutdown the application to access my paints jobs and horizons. The glitch occurs each time I play. May I suggest that it be determined what similarity all the players experiencing this have? Do they all own a specific paint job that is glitched, do they all own a certain edition of the game. Why does it take these players so long to log in. Is this only happening to players who have purchased a lot of paints jobs? as I have. After spending so much money on content, I'm really hoping FDev can provide a solution for me. I love this game but this glitch makes accessing the extra content I have purchased difficult as it takes about 8 min each time I shut down the game because I accessed the livery. Please help! P.S. Can one of the moderators, please sticky this thread. After spending the lots of money on cosmetic dlc to support...

    I'm not mad... I just think it's a stupid waste of time. Like a zero sum game. Game design made people happily shoot each others since ages. Here it's not happening. Is it a big deal? Not really. Can a healthy PvP scene extend the server's life of a game? Definitely yes. Is there more stupid things happening in the world that are also feverishly debated on internet forums with completely stupid arguments? Certainly.

Hinten haben die meisten Schiffe am wenigsten Verteidigung. :cool: Die Flugphysik von Elite unterscheidet sich sehr von anderen Spielen, von daher nützt dir deine Erfahrung nur bedingt etwas. Aber da wir nicht wissen wie du spielst, können wir nur raten wo der Fehler liegen könnte. Ein typischer Anfängerfehler ist zu hohe Geschwindigkeit. Bleib mit dem Tempo im blauen Bereich der Geschwindigkeitsanzeige. Dort hast du die höchste Wendigkeit. Boosten erhöht nochmal die Schwierigkeit zu wenden. Je nach Schiff kann die Wendigkeit je nach Achse stark variieren. Meist ist Rollen + Nicken deutlich schneller als Gieren. Als Tipp kann ich dir noch geben zum Wenden Rückwärtsschub zu geben. Damit kannst du auf engerem Raum wenden, ohne einen weiten Bogen zu fliegen. Gerade gegen NPCs funktioniert das recht gut. Fortgeschrittene Spieler schalten auch ab und an den Flugassistenten (kurz) aus. Dann kannst du das Schiff drehen ohne die Bewegungsrichtung zu ändern...

What they do share is a lack of common ground. There can be no agreement between wanting all players to be happy and those wanting others to be frustrated.

    Today I wanted to follow once again my research urge, so my ship was built back again on Exploring. The mining equipment is stored for the time being, and if I feel like it again, something will be added. Always assuming that the CG doesn't finish before. That wouldn't be a miracle. I have decided for a course, directly to the bottom, and have chosen the system CHALUIA BJ-B D0 as my first target, which is -2.018.

    *ENGAGE CINEMATIC* ;) --- Regarding the OP, the ideal would be to get it all done before launch, pre-DLC style. As in the X4 and SC model. (Although I hear X4 needed more time in the oven, and we're all waiting to see what SC looks like when it hits its finishing line, with the possibility of premature MVP and/or Duke Nukem style over-reach still lurking in the wings).

    My patience has ran out. I'm playing Elder Scrolls Online now. Haven't even thought to update Elite yet. And when I did today, I just thought to myself "I'd rather just go to Tamriel". ESO is a game that has a lot of depth. Should've got into MMORPGs long ago.

    I have played the game for ages - but I have never killed a Thargoid. It just doesn’t appeal to me. However, since killing Scouts gives you the fastest combat rank increase I am going to begin :) . So - is the Challenger considered as one of the best ships for Scout hunting?

    The alternative to engineering your FSD is to take part in the Guardian mini-game that allows you to purchase a Guardian FSD Booster. That will provide you with up to a 10 ly boost to any ship, including any ship you purchase in the future. It can be undertaken part time, but you will also have to obtain appropriate materials, so it might take some time. But it is still playing the game without any engineering. Also, the Guardian module 'game' is ideal to play with a friend (if you have one in the game) because you can help each other through the process at the Guardian ruins.

    That is a strange one mate, am running a 1080TI and getting 90FPS with pretty much everything on ultra with the CV1. Are you sure ambient occlusion is turned off? That is a performance killer, although I was hoping the 2080 could power through it. What about other VR titles? Btw, you don't need that debug tool anymore. You have a beast rig, switch off ASW and just crank those settings up.

    The current jump range shown in the galmap takes into account the fuel, but the route plotter has always assumed a full tank.
