    I lost all interest in the Thargoids almost immediately they were introduced. Why? Because I couldn't engage with them until I'd changed the whole outfitting of my ship. FD made a mistake of making normal weapons useless. I now see you repeating that same mistake with mining content. Please don't make the current mining laser useless against the new content. Make it less efficient, yes; useless, no. I want new gameplay, not new weapons.

    At Nav Beacon use the contacts panel to target On station approach, the center axis pf the station should point to approx the 7:30 position on the display - at the bottom of the display the rings have a break - point the axis toward where the ring stops on the left. At each station type, if your not sure what it should look like, just take the time when you come out of SC and line up dead center on the opening for a while until you identify useful visual cues described. HTH

    The vast majority who play in Open do so for the feeling of playing a live game etc. Players don't play in Open to run into dorito-eating PVPers who have endless time to fully engineer the most powerful ships etc. In this thread, what we see is said PVPers hilariously now thinking that they're the majority, when in fact they're the equivalent of lepers in regards to this game. See, it's like this: Whilst Devs may possibly 'like' PVPers who have the time to play 24/7 (simply because it means people playing their game), other players hate them. That's because said players spend all their time to get the most powerful ships, fully engineer them, and have a huge advantage over the usual player who, of course, do not play 24/7. Again: The overwhelming majority of Open players play in Open solely, entirely for the feeling of playing a live game, where they may or may not run into other cool, honourable, likable peoples (all the things PVPers, AKA Griefers, are not).

    Hey Tyres :) Most definitely I can feel the difference in the ships, though there can be some surprises. The Corvette is surprising how it can manuver for such a large ship (third largest at this time), especially compared to how my Anaconda drives, which 'feels' bigger just because it's a bit more sluggish, but only by a little. Going from those into like a Viper MKIV, wow, big difference in turning/pitch rates, boost, roll, etc. The game does a great job of differentiating the different ships. As was mentioned above with the T10, my T9 has a lot of mass and moves like it, and it drifts a bit as it has a lot of weight/momentum from all that mass (and it seems a Lakon thing since my Asp X also drifts a bit). The different handling makes it more fun each time you get in a different ship in your fleet. Love it, and adds spice to the game.

    101 hours lol don't really work since I'm disabled though I do help out a my fathers farm with animals, in particular birds mainly... ducks and chickens. As I sometimes say before going outside, I'm going to go and get mobbed and attacked by the dinosaurs :p tend to do that when you go to give them their feed

    I just wanted to say, I'd argue 12 pm BST is actually better for Australia than EU or US. 11 pm Sydney/Melbourne and 9pm Perth work better than noon in Europe, where most of the playerbase is probably either working or at school, so for once, Aussies really have no reason to complain here ;)

    Sandro's statement has no context. There's no data that quantifies what players are doing when they are not in Open. Even if 90% of players play in Open 90% of the time, it doesn't tell you what they are doing when they are not in Open and what if any impact it has on anything. Almost 400 posts with no critical reasoning or logic - nothing but speculation based on a vague statement with no data. These fora never cease to entertain

    A lot of the "I never realized that ..." moments come from the fact that some of these things didn't work the way they do now. Scanning Nav Beacons originally did ... absolutely nothing. So you're perfectly forgiven for not knowing that they now have a function if you didn't carefully read the patch notes. Same goes for the station matching it's orientation while in supercruise. That also wasn't in there from day one (well ... it was but the indicator in the HUD didn't show it). I haven't played in a long, long time and am looking forwarded to all the little surprises that await me when I finally get back into the game.

    I mean, honestly, to the people not believing Sandro, why in the name of The Great Attractor he should lie about this? Makes no sense, more people play in open, they just said that they are only evaluating the idea of an open only PP. Chill people... jeez

    I'm at the point where i can't play this game anymore. It's made it unplayable for me, the grass/forest stats get messed up every time i reload or they "stood in their paddocks wrong" haha, but somehow it remembers everything else. I reinstalled the game, started a totally new save twice and have noticed the comfort levels dropping from 100 down until each dinosaur seems to remember that it was fine a second ago. For me the stats go straight to 0 grass/ 0 forest and remain that way for a good few minutes until i either tranq and move them or until they just go straight back up after a few minutes to their previously fine status. By then they are already down in comfort though and it doesn't stop them rampaging. I really hope they fix this. I'm glad i'm not the only one suffering this issue but at the same time its annoying that we're having it, you know what i mean. I got to the point earlier (after trying to fix it/move them/tranq them/restart a new save and reinstall my game 100 times) where i just loaded...
