    You're not wanted or anything are you? I'm not sure but if you have bounties on those ships, perhaps that's the issue? I cant remember if that's a thing or not but I do remember you can be unable to fit components if you're wanted at the station where they are stored for that reason.

    Review videos as well word of mouth from friends who own it tell me to not waste my money. I'll give it a try once it goes ftp. I just get a strong impression of meh, but I can understand that some really enjoy it. Same goes for ED for me, very meh for me but some find it is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

    I like this idea. Live fish for the Spinosaurids and maybe some egg feeders (I remember as a child reading about smaller carnivores/omnivores stealing eggs, but I may be out of date on that). I think it would be even more neat if these were implemented as required dietary supplements on top of the required vegan/meat diets. The trade-off would be a longer feeding interval on each. A higher up front investment (building them) for a very cheap long term feeding plan (replenishing them).

    Just adding two more animations would be enough I think, a run and grab animation and one where the guests kinda fall on their knees covering their heads, that would be a good variation I think that would require a couple of days work at most.

    While we're at it, it would be great if they made some of the carnivores like the Ceratosaurus not come to a complete halt when chasing a goat. Its very strange only some carnivores have that behavior, others will just run and grab, but there's nothing more immersion breaking than watching a gigantic creature run, come to a complete hit-the-breaks-as-hard-as-possible-stop and then slowly walk and eat a goat that is standing still and gazes at the horizon...

    Haven't done any testing of the Guardian SLFs in NPC hands as I haven't unlocked them yet, so my only experience is flying them myself in multi-crew. Skeptical that it will be better than the GU-97 for counter SLF use, unless the rail on the lance can reliably knock it out in one hit. Almost any SLF will be downed by a single WEP cap worth of the fixed beams. Still, worth testing.

    Of course you play flight sims with a keyboard, a PC flight sim has dozens of controls and unless you have full stick/throttle/pedal systems you're going to be quite reliant on a keyboard, even if you have a Hotas! If you're talking about PS4 flight sims, then the control system is massively simplified, but it hasn't been on Elite. You're missing the point raised. It's not about actual about gameplay, it's about the number of controls vs the binding combinations of the controller. There are too many controls to be bound, it's near (if not already) impossible and you'd have to have an androids brain to instantly recall every single permutation, and which control is binded to that specific combination. The last big update tipped the scales leavng several controls unbound. It's a f ing joke that a game this size is only playable with a DS4 or Hotas (no more binding options than the DS4). What's even more of a joke is Frontiers excuse for not implementing keyboard control. A DS4 in the UK is about 50,...

    Never seen this as a really viable option , fun for a try but seriously why? Destroy your own ship for a few % extra damage seems insane to me ... i do remember the video someone posted using an all PA loadout with thermal conduit engineering and it was like firing off stars but at 300%+ heat levels (insanity). As for your original question , im really not sure.

    That's actually a good work around I can see this working quite well and doesn't sound (in theory at least) like something complicated to code in the game.

    I didn't. Don't see any good reason why I should get a second account. It's not like I can multibox them, and even if I could, I never did it in EVE Online, either, and I still managed to become a dangerous and successful lowsec pirate and highsec wardeccer with a single account.
