    I'm not sure where my thread is going anymore. Is anyone reading anything I typed? :P It's not about combat, or Thargoids, or traders being sissies, (Lol, joking). It's about a completely theoretical redesign of the current bubble which, in my opinion of course, would improve the gameplay around all aspects of ED. I just used the Thargoids as a reason for a redesign of the bubble. Which is what you're all seemingly focused on. Lol

    Really? You think they'd have to start from scratch? I don't think so. Do you think that they have to build the entire SRV model from nothing, over and over again, to make the wheels turn? Do you think maybe they use some of the ship assets when creating the wrecked ships and debris on planet surfaces? No? OK.

    Well, I decided to up my game a bit. I enjoy Open and it really makes it feel dangerous for me, having rogue CMDRs wreaking havoc at CGs. So I rebuilt all my 3 ships to the point of being able to suck up most alpha strikes and practiced some evasion tactics. FSD disruptors sent me to the rebuy screen a couple times. But otherwise I escaped 80-90 percent of all interdictions and assaults. And I was looking for trouble at the current CG in my lovely B!tchslap https://eddp.co/u/HgeeBivr I´m even considering shooting back soon. Not that I think I´d have a chance against alpha ships. But I´d like to try and scratch the paint a bit :D

    It seems like applying the OP's unfaltering logic has produced a lot of nonsense. I was just keeping in theme with the topic =) The speed restriction makes sense as a balancing factor, even if it's inexplicable with respect to the game world.

    Actually, I'm worried that it won't. I think everything you're saying is POTENTIALLY spot on, but I'm very worried that they will undermine the whole 'consequences' thing. They said you can clear your bounties by paying them off, right? I worry that the payoff will be relatively trivial. For example, let's say you spend 40 hours doing crime in a jurisdiction and you accumulate a ton of bounties. If you only have to pay...let's say 5 million credits to clear your record of all of that, but you can make 10 million credits with a single 20 minute passenger mission... Consequence is suddenly a joke. If it's well balanced so that you can clear your record over time, but it's non-trivial then it will be awesome. If it's balanced how they have "balanced" things up until now...

    Los escudos, súbelos al máximo nivel que puedas Reforzados (Heavy Duty), nivel 5 a poder ser. Si fuesen prismáticos, lo que te da Aisling Duval tras cuatro semanas al nivel 3 de lealtad, mejor que mejor. Añádele a la nave shield boosters, todos los que puedas. Luego, efectivamente, los pips de sistemas siempre en cuatro, te durarán los escudos sin caer 2,3 veces más. Los otros dos pips repártelos a demanda entre motores y armas. Los cuatro pips de sistemas solo deben bajar de cuatro en casos de extrema necesidad. Para bajar escudo, armas calóricas, y para reventar el casco, armas cinéticas y explosivas. Los multicañones de efecto incendiario también dañan los escudos, y los de efecto corrosivo hacen que el casco se debilite permitiendo que reciban aun más daño. Luego, acostumbra a apuntar a subsistemas, como la fuente de alimentación o los motores, dejarás KO a la nave y la podrás rematar a placer. Para hacer un daño devastador en los subsistemas, utiliza cañones o railguns.

    I just use missiles on those infamous hard points. Use the same weapon loadout for everything, be it defensive measures on a trade ship or full blown killing. I only use the missiles on tough/valuable targets.

So instead of generating dozens of missions which players aren't even interested in, why not spend those cycles generating missions they are interested in?
