    WOW that's great! I've didn't expected the start already in February. Nice that it will be soon. BUT!... Will we ever see a fix, that prevents anarchy factions from loosing influence when using Blackmarkets at their stations??

    If this happened in beta nothing is lost. If it happened in live, then yeah you flew without rebuy, it is a part of the game.

    Vamos a ver, lo que creo que defienden algunos cuando dicen que no al modo solo, es un juego donde tienes que estar atento 24 horas al día si quieres influir en el mapa. Pero es que Élite no es ese tipo de juego. Ya existen online juegos donde tienes que estar 24 horas atento para que no te invadan tu pueblo, castillo, sistema... lo que sea. Uno en concreto de naves espaciales (Eve Online). Pero Élite es un juego casual para gente que tiene vida fuera del juego, familia, trabajo, esas cosas... Entras cuando puedes a disfrutar del universo. Creo que lo que ocurriría si obligasen a hacer ese tipo de juego de "conéctate o lo pierdes todo muaaaaaaaaajajajaja, te cobro mensualmente" es que la mayoría pasaríamos olímpicamente de la competición y los que quieren competición se frustrarían al no tener rivales y emigrarían a otros juegos.     I've received scores of random friends requests and accept them all. The majority never contact me in any way. I don't know who they are. Unfortunately as I used to be in a player group I also have tons of friends who were like on the edge of the group, or in allied groups, and I can no longer remember who I've met and who I haven't. A substantial minority of the randoms, however, have read something I have posted on the forums and want to ask me a question, usually something to do with weapon statistics and outfitting. I will answer if possible quickly, but then usually make the friendly suggestion that they PM me instead so we can have a proper discussion. If necessary I try gently to point out that I have flying to do (I like talking about stats and outfitting but not when I could actually be playing the game instead). Unfortunately this seems to offend most, however I phrase it and even though this certainly isn't my intention, and I never get the PM. On the rare occasions that I engage in...

    Nope, not me. I have rolled few FSDs into decent G5s and I'm happy with the outcome. Tho I was thinking about boosting few other modules, the idea of mindless material gathering was pushing me back. I don't have any real reason to get G5 rolls on everything - I'll just wait for the new system and see how it works. At least I'll have something to do after chapter one. Been thinking about combat ship, engineered accordingly. Postponed that idea into chapter one, Chieftain and new engineers.

    I'm not going to slate the OP for thinking about the game, it's potentially weaker points, ideas for possible improvements and simply engaging with a community about a shared pleasure - despite some interesting points I personally disagree with many of them, possibly with some exception(s) of us having to suspend disbelief in factors such as the ED Universe not having mechanics that already exist in the 20th and 21st centuries. However, games need us to place our imaginations before all else to make the game work, and we use our imaginations to hide things as much as to provide things. The incredible Lego space base that I built in my bedroom as a child was surrounded not by a sea of 1980s' black, grey and red 'boys' decor but by stars, luna landscapes and PlayMobil people that despite being three times the size of a Lego figure found a suitable place in my imagined world - I didn't just make stuff up, I hid stuff away. Immersion is provided by imagination. Personally, if between the game's mechanics...

    I've become a bit out of date with the latest AX weapons. Last I checked with had dumbfires and multicannons... Both fixed, with very limited ammo, so I was basically useless. Spent more time reloading than actually doing any damage. Need some Engineering work on them, plus some damn tracking. My gamepad isn't exactly good for precise aiming... :D CMDR Cosmic Spacehead

    Rule #1 never fly without a rebuy ( or 10 ) Rule #2 read rule 1 Ship loans are based on your assets Cmdr and we are granted a loan based on whether you can afford to pay it accordingly. This is not a bug...you messed up Cmdr ..you learn from this

    No, as fun as it would be to go and try to find the most optimal everything in time for 3.0 I think I'll just stick with what I've got and make use of the new system when it rolls around. Then again I'm not in to PvP and try not to stress too much about maximum ship optimality :) Once the new system does come on stream though I'll be curious to see what I can do with, I messed about a bit in the beta and it would be fun to continue with that.

    Hay 5 tipos de escudo: - El mierdi-E que todo el mundo quita - El D que es el amor de los exploradores - El C que ni fú ni fá y que imagino que es tan usado como el E - El B que da una defensa decente y el mayor valor de integridad (aparte de un peso desmesurado) - El A, el megaguay Luego tenemos los tamaños de 3 a lo que dé Finalmente tenemos la lógica: Yo cojo una T9 que no maniobra, que como no maniobra si le meto armamento tiene que ser de torreta que no hace un peo de daño, que es una nave tremendamente pesada y lenta y claro le meto el escudo más grande y caro para que si un pvpero ingenierizado me ataca se aburra pegándome tiros antes de matarme (porque me matará si yo no llevo la T9 super preparada para combate).

    bass mass class ambassador badass well obviously the word without a letter in front just "vanished" so there is surely either a whitelist for some words, or its not realy just checking substrings. But it is fishy and very much without sense. gets even more problematic if you include different languages where Ace in german is A.S.S Kraut strangely, a word I see censored by many Foprums somehow isn't blocked in Frontiers one. (not that it even needs a censorship at all). it really makes one curious how inagme and forum filtes work at all or get their blacklists/rules from.

    I know, I know... Science doesn't allow for fun. :P But imagine how fun it could be? You select a distant object, a planet, moon, or station, over a certain distance in Ls away, and then ask your ships computer for a "slingshot vector" or some other fancy terminology. After a brief calculation, your computer generates a dynamic "pipe" on your HUD (a series of rings to fly through basically), leading you to a large enough object to slingshot from, then around said object, then off to your destination. Once you're in, you basically just need to follow it.

    Really difficult to quantify how small a small change is but... All missions and CGs should have the option from the mission screen to bring up the destination station, systems and route find as far as your available information allows. So if you know the target station you can click a button and it will bring up the system (and possibly planet!) view with the station targeted. Have a separate button for GalMap system selection (this should always be available right?). You can then force a path once you have these selections made. In exploration always show the type of body in the navigation pane, you know this from the system view don't obscure it here. I'd also like to see a show on system view options from the navigation options and/or an in navigation planetary info button. I know exploration updates are coming so maybe some things like this eventually? Back to the 'not sure how small' but I'd like to see some fuel management options.
