Sell most (not all) of the buildings, but keep the arcade, restaurant, and clothes shop (I think you start with those; I don't remember).

nah it makes no sense to sedate the dinos just to resupply the feeders,... might as well just drop meat from the helicopter and eliminate the need for rangers

I would not confuse a 10 year business plan with a 10 year project life - personally, knowing what FD have said they want to add to ED I fully expect the project to have a life expectancy well in excess of 10 years from release.

The first problem is that, in spite of naming conventions, there are no exploration ships; the closest it comes is multipurpose vessels. The reason for that is because Frontier doesn't actually have a model for exploration, so you cannot tune ships to fit the model. As to the range comments after the OP, if you are exploring above or below the thin and thick bands of the galaxy or in the various voids and regions of stellar scarcity, yes, range becomes important; otherwise, it is just a faster form of travel. For me, I am toodling around in the deep underbelly of the galaxy at almost -2,900 LY from the galactic ecliptic. The ~48 LY (it changes with every patch) range that I have lets me get further below the Milky Way.

Fingers crossed. I hope you are right. That is the jist of the consensus I gather, after all of the conversations had on the subjects.

I've not raced for a while, but I've been looking for an excuse to try out the Krait ;) Will definitely be along for the race :) I have the Guardian FSD booster but I'm not bothered whether I race with or without it.

I was thinking the much awaited Panther Clipper being ear marked as a large ship designed for exploration. Elite already has a large source of cannon ships and ship designs to call on mind you -

Not as good and it showed that the "community" weren't on board with them.

We know* it's gonna feature some Legs or Atmos aspects. We get to keep warm arguing which it'll be ;) * Because if it doesn't the game will condense down into such a tiny player base it will form a singularity, stripping all ED references from space-time as it goes. Which it hasn't. QED!

Would you mind explaining how it speeds up the process?

I fully expect squadron mechanics to be purely a player organisational thing - nothing more, nothing less - no player-to-player economies, no player owned/controlled facilities that either generate or consume credits. All credit consumption should be based on direct usage (e.g. jumping to a new location, repairing, refuelling, rearming of player ships - the latter an alternative to NPC stations). No material or cargo storage/retrieval, nothing that could directly impact the BGS.

This has yet to be seen, so there's no “actually” about it. What we know for certain is that they're slowing down the process for decision-making and removing agency from a number of related activities. The same amount of attention will be required as now since the interaction is pretty much exactly the same: align thing with thing and then adjust slider to receive bacon. If the surface scanning procedure actually does turn out to be faster, then that just means that attention needs to be maintained for a shorter period of time. Funnily enough, if they removed the slider part, it truly would be a bit more attention consuming since you'd have to start deducing things by cross-references different information sources.
