;) if I decide to switch to PC, I'll let you know before garbage can is opened ;) Seriously - understand that "throw into garbage" as some kind of figure of speech, related to ED ... probably I'd keep PS4 cos of another games which are totally fine there - mostly my favourite NFL Madden (the reason why I bought PS). But yes, in such case ED license and Hotas would be for sale (not sure if license can be "resold" - have digital distribution copy) TW

Not true in all cases - there are numerous reasons why you might not fully A-spec a ship, and the A-grade component performance is not always justified. Engineering can not lower power requirement of an FSD currently - engineered L5 max range 7C will consume less power and jump as far or further than the baseline 7A (which costs 9 times the 7C). 6A costs three times more and consumes 25% more power than the 7C but is slightly more fuel efficient. Lower baseline power demand means less baseline heat generation. If you think about the consequences of build choices rather than stick to dogma and ignore reason then any problems you encounter are down to you. The Beluga is not the only ship I do not recommend going fully A-spec on without good reason to do so.

Not yet but a ticket is open on GitHub and personally it is something I would like to see very soon. It’s just that certain changes for 3.0 need to take priority.

Agreed. I'll like to see more non-combat improvements too.

Next they'll blow up the Sim-Archives because Antal decided to upgrade it with some Thargoid technology and probably threw in some Guardian technology for good measure. Not only did they have a virtual slap fight in the Archive, the incident also alerted the Thargoids that someone has been particularly naughty.

I know that feeling - I just docked at Colonia a week ago after being out since the start of the DWE back in 3302. It was an amazing feeling to slowly enter Jacques Station with all the other ships about (and nerve-wracking). But the itch to head out again is too hard to resist. Welcome back, Cmdr - see you in the black o7

Here are the worms (ast 31 secods): The comprehensive list does not exist. Madraptor managed to ask Sandy Samarco about it and the question was brushed off.

I'd swap weapons for a gimballed multi cannon and a fixed burst laser. It will increase your DPS by a lot, stop you from running of of capacitator energy in an instant and lower your heat signature when firing. Along with not making you completely harmless when the enemy fires off chaff. And swap shields for bi-weaves and engineer them some thermal resistance. Also, I'd suggest getting some point defense, as the moment you lose your shields and missiles start flying, your modules, especially thrusters, are as good as dead right there on the spot. Unless you only use it for bounty hunting single targets that you can take out without losing your shields. I still remember getting completely wrecked in CZs when I suddenly got the attention of too many ships at once. It's a very quick death.

Creo que lo que dices no es correcto, al menos hace una o dos semanas: yo me he encontrado con medusas y tienen el mismo comportamiento que los restantes thargoides y si te separas después de que te huelan siguen a lo suyo

Unlike AEGIS, Li Yong Rui has Sirius and their access to money and funds, I'd expect a major station like Ray Gateway to be rapidly repaired and not this slow crap that's like the Oracle or Obsidian Orbital. Unless Frontier is really out of touch with the playerbase and is delusional to think that this is what people want when the math has already shown it'll take years to repair all the damn stations at the current rate.

Are you really not only still going on but this daft? Why in gods name would you ever undersize the FSD and cut your jump range? No ship should NEED to do that for normal usage. Default A stock modules should have no issue with overheating (except like rapid firing your Imperial Hammer railguns). Default stock should run normal and then doing stuff like Overcharging the Weapons, Dirty Drives 5, Overcharged Powerplant should be what raises you into heat issues. Never by default. You never ever ever undersize your damn FSD. Also sorry but C power plants are USELESS. A rated handles heat better, not just about power gen. People smarter than you or I have long done the math and played the game many thousands of hours more to realize this. It's not just an obsession or anything with "A-rated" but the cold hard facts. C is useless in most cases except as a stepping stone (especially since those were out with the original launch idea of Elite which was FAR FAR FAR more grindy and before my time, but it wasn't odd...

Lately, well, actually the last two years, when I think about it, most new toys that have been added to the game have been combat focused. There have been a lot of quality of life upgrades as well and general game polishing, but the toys have been guns and things that are for using guns. Yes, there have been limpets, but that's about it. There is multicrew, which also can be used for scanning and sightseeing, but since there are no other functions in place, the main function seems to be the gunner job, which also comes with a pretty arcade-style view around the ship (arcade and Elite in one sentence makes me cringe, actually). The game has ship launched fighters, even three different kinds with different loadouts. The same mechanic could be used to add scientific drones to do other things than fighting, remote mining drones, collector drones for grabbing stuff without limpets or cargo scooping. I would have loved to have ship launched vessels, including a fighter, not restricted to. Engineers gave...

Sadly the name is misleading. It was improperly named Prismatic for the shield since I'm guessing the Prismatic Imperium run by Aisling and her supporters provide it. Realistically if they were "prismatic" they should be like 16.8 million color spectrum RGB. Instead they are indeed just green shields.
