    Add to ignore list, remove from ignore list once chunks are collected if you want to retrieve them. You can also fly away from them. Limpets pick targets as they offload, I think the timing is such that they wont immediately pick up the tossed cargo that makes room for their drop-off, but the next active limpet incoming will.

    The ability to set cosmetic preferences on a global or ship by ship basis would be nice. For instance being able to select a default decal setup where the front slot is current exploration rank, left is a alliance/mahon logo, and the right is the beta backer patch, and have these automatically be applied when buying a new ship. Similarity, being able to set green weapons detailing as the global default, but being able to say taipans should use red weapon detailing unless it is a ax tiapan which should use white. This is mostly an issue with SRV and SLF racks which get swapped in and out a lot which currently seems to not remember the previous customization settings. I like being able to tell if my slf is actually doing its job, and a weapons detailing color helps a ton. However, most of the time i forget to reset this option when loading the slf rack. Hopefully, this could be integrated as a simple option/flyout menu or something when fitting a cosmetic. i.e. set current, set global, set...

    Well, I fly the Chieftain with 3-1.5-1.5 and it's still insanely manoeuvrable. I'd use 3-1-2 if I could figure out how to do it! :)

    Yes full system from my 4 trips since the patch really netted me a small fraction in full system scan. Terriformable WW's seem to be profitable so I'd go for those as well as ELW's and other terriformables. Then I'd hit the regular WW and Ammonia if they aren't too far away. Though I always tend to scan ringed WW if not terriformable just for the tag. But yes, that's really about it that's needed. The rest is a big waste profit vs time wise...

    This weekend starting Friday it's "VIP" demo for people who preordered. They can share up to 5 key with friends. Next weekend is open demo for everyone. Release for early pre-order origin access vip subscribers is 15th with the peasants following a week later. I can't run it anyway so I'll watch from the sidelines, but I have heard that there is considerations selling later released javelins for cash and when I look at Warframe and then at such plans I'll rather wait and see what their GaaS plans really are, because - strangely - there wasn't much said about that and I wonder why... Somehow I have a feeling that the upfront price won't mean much in the bigger scheme of EA's visions.

    Regarding the last part of your post: grinding those stupid jumps to get out there. Yeah, they're pretty stupid and monotonous all right. So far it's been really easy to get out there for this crew with their combat ships, but that will begin to change after the halfway point and I predict the predation will drop off a bit until by the 3/4 mark it may have stopped completely. I love these guys and admire their spunk, but I just don't think most of them have the focus to a) go all the way to Beagle in the first place, and b) do it at the slow pace the DWE2 group is going even if they did. After Sag A the grim, monotonous reality of how long the trip actually is will begin to set in and change the complexity of events dramatically. Can you imagine how boring it would be to go the 3/4 mark or further just to wait around in the faint hope that someone was dumb enough at some point to show up in Open?

    Greifers, or more accurately murder hobos, are a valid playstyle so long as they arent combat logging. there is a crime and punishment system in the game for a reason. if the "greifers" get caught/killed/detained they are forced to pay the rebuy costs of the players that they killed on top of their bounties. according to your post murder hobos are greifers that should be banned. youve said nothing about actual greifers that just combat log and have no skill. You got wooped by some murder hobo and want to whine about it instead of just being more cautious in a game called "Elite Dangerous" If the Dev's didnt want Open PvP they wouldnt have implimented it, and they wouldnt have implimented a crime and punishment system that affects murder hobo's as well.

    This has been going on for years, literally. I think it was 2015 someone ganked in SagA. FDev has stated kills in open for no "reason" other than the kill itself are fine. It's unlikely this time around will be any different in outcome. C&P is much more relevant to BGS manipulation and such anyway, especially before they nerf'ed NPC murderhobo'ing for BGS negative influence. The easiest counter to ganks is a moderate investment in build and evasion, rather than hoping FDev will implement something they are unlikely to do such as drastically change C&P. Distant Ganks 2 crew aren't the ones jumping up and down crying. Mostly they're having a good time. They also give pretty good advice, like I tried to give in your vette thread. I'm not an active part of DG2, but their POV seems far more rational to me than most of the objections. The only part of DG2 that seems irrational to me is grinding the stupid jumps required to get out there. Z0.

    Currently selling engineered modules to make room for more modules in the current 120 unit allotment is painful. This really only becomes an issue with a large fleet of vessels with different internals, the ton of modules that have been added like the new mining equipment etc, and need for differently engineered modules for different tasks. Due to potential material limit overflow issues this might best be done with some sort of material trader bond/gift card. Having a way to get something in terms of materials back when selling a modules would help alleviate the bulk of storage being used for rainy day modules (rarely used, but hard to find especially when out on exploration trips). Without engineering it would not be an issue, but with engineering storage quickly becomes limiting. Either upping the storage limit, making scrapping engineered modules hurt less would be nice or allowing players to 'special order' modules in the far flung stations for insane prices would be very nice.     So much this. No amount of credits can replace the hundreds if not thousands of hours necessary to build and drive a big ship well. You also miss out on the joy (& tribulation) of progressing from a small to a medium and finally to the large ship of your dreams. There's also the fact that NPC's are tougher and smarter now, specially in the CZ's. Engineering is now ma Darley imo.

    The second part, I can't do anything, "upgrading" to any of the lasers I currently have. I've lost the ability to "craft existing modules", at a grade I should have access to. I can't even "attempt" to upgrade them. The 2 Beam lasers I have with me now are grade 4, and I can't do anything with them at his base. As support suggested, I have to take a "new untouched module" to his base and start from scratch, grade 1. Something somehow got messed up. I have grade 4 access now, but can't "craft at any level", other than grade 1, with a new module. Supports also suggesting that after I take a new module to Broo, and upgrade it to grade 5, I will then be able to upgrade the 7 other lasers I have. I have no other option, and actually spent a few hours today in the srv, so I'm about an hour away from being able to get 1 laser to grade 5. See what's happens.
