    The Problem with the big 3 is the fact that once the shields go down that your modules will be shot out much faster than other ships. The large ships are slow and their power plants are the easiest targets to hit. An FDL fully decked out for combat can last longer than a large ship. Long enough to get shields back. The only thing that makes the large ships dangerous in any way is the fact that they can load up 4 Shield Cell Banks and 5 Boosters with 2 Heat syncs and and chaff. Once you take the shield down the ships powerplant is targeted and they lose 50 to 70 Percent of the power plants life by the time the shields return. In fact you will hardly see that scenario play out because as soon as the shields go down on any of those ships, the pilot high wakes to avoid the rebuy. They need to abandon this concept of module damage as king. I have seen corvettes go down at 95% hull intact and powerplant is destroyed. Not to mention large ships flown by NPCs are jokes.     If you want one-on-one PvE with a little difficulty, try taking Deadly and Elite assassination missions. You will often get Condas or Corvettes.

    It's not an excuse, it's basic reality. Nitpicking on a 4+ year old statement without acknowledging the context at the time, when the project plan and scope was way smaller it's extremely disingenuous to say the least. Ignoring basic context like the facts that at that time CIG staff consisted of only 1 studio with ~20 dev's and had only raised $9 Million dollars and were still far from imagining that they would end getting many more millions and be able to increase the scope like they did. CIG did the absolute righteous thing to do, they adapted their plan according to the support shown by backers and embraced the full scope and ambition of Chris Roberts vision to make something that they feel otherwise wouldn't be made. Marketing reality and Game Development reality are different things. With the amount of funding, support and expectations that Star Citizen has generated it's been a while that It's not about addressing to specific dates but addressing to specific standards of quality and scope.

    I do find the secretive bit to be more than a little poorly implemented. "CMDR Coloratura, please take me on a 3.5 million Cr tour, where I will have you stop at odd times and dock at stations so you can buy me 1 ton of clothes, or maybe 3 tons of Evacuation shelter for my comfort, but gods help you if I get scanned, and I mean by anyone, for any reason. Sure, you can't help it if you get scanned on the way out of the station, but I will be livid. Also, if you get scanned while 10 meters away from the mail slot, so help me I won't pay, even if you brought me 150 light years to my destination. I'm leaving without any consequence against me, whatsoever." Seriously, guys.

    I cannot comprehend what i saw today. The ONE game that has been on my top list of favorate games was Jurassic Park Operation Genesis. To this day i ecen still play it. The small and old JPOG community are truly feeling what i feel when we saw this spiritual successor to JPOG. Not only is this amazing but it is being developed by my favorate developer. Elite sits on my top list as well but under JPOG. I honestly have yet to see anything related gameplay wise but knowing you dabbled in the area as well as devolped Elite i have no problem with backing you 100%.. I do hope you listen to the fans of JPOG. Their are a few things in that game you should look into bringing into yours. If their is anything i can do suggestion wise please let me know. I saw what good came out of JPOG as well as what caused it to crash.

    When it comes to heavy hitters, Condas, Vettes, Cutters, its pretty much about who has the best combination of Shields and DPS. On that, I will agree.** Piloting skills really come into play when you're talking small-medium ships. The'dominant' ship isn't always going to win in a traditional dogfight. Maneuvering is a big factor in that. Not to mention, the variety of builds you might see out there. One guy might run prismatics, gimballed weapons,and no armor. Another might have biweaves, tough armor,and all fixed guns. Some may run no shields at all. **Piloting skill becomes a factor when it's big vs small/medium. If you can't keep a more agile ship in front of you, you're gonna have a bad time. When it's Conda vs Conda, 1v1, it's gonna come down to the gear most of the time. At least, that's how I see it

    Actually that was very tedious, and not at all realistic... If the NPC was getting it's butt handed to it, it wouldn't wander off to recharge shields and come back for another bash, it would wake out. So that fuss was not about difficulty, but about poor and unrealistic gameplay. :)

    PvP should be more of a drastic push on CQC, and owned ship PvP in a CQC like situation. Not to take away what wxists but to add in OPEN and Private places to drop into or travel to a CQC situation with real ships. Just remove CQC in how it works....these modes would remove MODs while in these modes only.
