Top Tip... Well a little tip anyway...

Not sure if this post is in the right section... but i can't see a Hints and Tips forum...

Placing rides on different levels gives your park a more natural look... but then it can be spoiled by having gaps around your paths.... So i had a mess around.....

Sloping a path raises it 1m
Adding steps raises it 2m

By colouring 1m wall sections you can raise your path to the desired height.....

To raise your terrain by exactly 2m -

1. Place 3x 1m walls of alternate colours on top of each other
2. Make sure scenery and surface lock are unticked in the terrain tool menu
3. Raise the terrain until it passes the 2m wall (if your path will be 4m wide set the tool to at least 4m so it flattens enough land)
4. find the point where the terrain and the 2m line meet
5. choose the flatten to foundation tool and put your cursor EXACTLY on the point where the terrain and 2m line meet
6. click and flatten your land :)
7. set the smooth tool to about 50% (49% or 51% will do because i can never get it to land on 50%) and smooth the edges of your terrain
8. place your path

Not really sure why the Pull Tool set to 2m doesnt lift the terrain by 2m.... the are it lifts is possibly 2m wide but the height is nowhere near 2m... if you then click twice it goes bonkers.... maybe its a bug???
