Take a screenshot?

I've tried the usual PrtSc button but when pasting it into a program such as paint the screen is black. What the button to take one and where (what directory) do the shots go into?

Same happened to me I had to take it off full screen and use the windowed opition via settings graphics

Thank you!!! Guess I can't use the fullscreen option when I want to take them. Looks like that worked when it's windowed.

When I try this in windowed mode, I only get a black and white screenshot. Is there a way to get one with colour? Or is there an in game key to press?

I use PrintScreen in Borderless mode myself - it hasn't failed me yet...

Perhaps you (the Devs) could implement the "Elite Dangerous" Screenshot system for Alpha 3.0 (or 2.3ish). I.e F10 and saved to ..\Pictures\Frontier Developments\Planet Coaster.
Just a thought . . Would make life easier.

There absolutely needs to be a built in screenshot function. It would be more awesome to implement the ED version of standard screenshot and hires screenshot.
