If you can include, for update announcements like this, whether the client requires update (wait for Steam/Epic etc).
In many cases it is obvious, but in case like this one it may be a bit more unclear, whether it's server side only (ref 'servers must come down' ingame announcement).

SaR gameplay
exploration (you know, some plants have value of 10 earthlikes or more), it is good balance, or just "gib me money for thing", dear players? It is weird, that people still are doing it without broken payouts.
on foot missions
bounties (you know, without stacking 10 missions at once)
prices of goods from settlements
long range passenger missions
smuggling
piracy
But I guess that never, because frontier and community don't care about any balance. They just want hundreds meaningless credits.
Thanks, I think we follow the same understanding. But in my head (that may be the whole issue actually) it was a tiny but unclear whether it's just a server/backend rehash or whether it's and actual client update - altough giving it a new version number is a clear pinpoint to a new client-version. duh ^^Rule of thumb is that if servers go down for a long length of time then there's a client update. Server updates rarely need downtime - usually only a relog.

Hello Sally, just a suggestion, would it be possible (might not be, just raising the issue) to put information like this in the ED launcher? After all, this is the only window that we are certain to open before playing ED. Currently we have quite a bit of information but nothing that tells us about incoming updates nor, more surprinsingly, ongoing ones. Servers are even said to be OK while the game is updating and hence inacessible.Greetings Commanders.

I wish the Carrier so called "upkeep" would get reconsidered please. When you take some time away from the game, which we're all entitled to do for various reasons, to come back and find a huge chunk of the credits you've earned have been deleted, does somewhat sap the motivation to even carry on again.
