Honestly my absolute dream pack would be too much of a pipe dream at this point. An animal pack with a selection of fully aquatic habitat species and avian species, what the Wetlands Pack could (imo should) have been. With this said, a dream pack for me would be one that only introduced species from entirely unrepresented taxonomic Suborders or higher. And with Frontier’s tendencies in mind, I’d have to include some mammals and pick bird species that tend to be more “terrestrially” based.
My “realistic” dream pack would look something like this:
Biodiversity Pack:
1. Large semi-aquatic turtle (Alligator Snapping Turtle, Pig Nosed Turtle, Sea Turtle, etc.)
2. Lagomorph species (any of the numerous hares or rabbits)
3. Waterfowl species (any duck, goose, or swan)
4. Two-Toed Sloth species
5. Terrestrial Predatory Bird (Burrowing Owl, Roadrunner, Secretary Bird, Southern Ground Hornbill, etc.)
6. Coconut Crab (Our only likely chance at a habitat species outside of Chordata. All of PZ’s current habitat roster is in Chordata)
7. Chinese Giant Salamander (would likely be our only habitat amphibian in PZ)
8. Hummingbird species (Walkthrough Exhibit)
