I'd begrudgingly take this species list. The coyote and opossum would be major eye-rollers, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't wind up using them in just about every zoo I make. The quail, though, I'd be genuinely stoked for. One of my nearby zoos got some Gambel's quails at the start of the month, and I'm absolutely obsessed with them.

Not the greatest video, but I just adore how routinely all three of them pop out in a line, make a brief showing, and then return to their hiding spot in a line. They're practically in a walkthrough exhibit-style loop, in real life.

Eh, the condor can already fit in the normal exhibit. No need for a WE or an aviary.

I've never seen a condor not in an aviary. I have seen Old World vultures in open-top exhibits but that's increasingly regarded as undesirable, especially in Europe (America is well behind on zoo bird welfare).

I feel completely out of the loop here. I didn't even notice it's DLC time again until I just saw the notification for Leaf's video about the special live stream tomorrow. Now I'm incredibly happy that I can do home-office tomorrow, because means I can catch the live stream But yeah, a bit frustrating (only from a personal point-of-view, of course) that an entire DLC cycle has passed and I barely got a chance to play the game during the last couple of months! I think I only managed to build for the armadillo and none of the others, even though I was so excited about all of the new animals.

Frontier, I'm begging you, please give us my beloved tree kangaroos finally

Ah the Opposum. Nearly finalizing the American Roadside Tragedy set. Now all we need is the White Tail Deer. FWIW I would buy this set but wouldn't be that excited about it.

in general comment, I'm excited that we'll probably get the update news tomorrow, or Thursday at latest. That will tell us the when...and while it's probably the 4th, they could go short on lead up and release on the 28th (the Australian Pack was revealed on a Thursday and released 5 days later, that Tuesday so it's not unprecedented). Or they could go long, and this would probably take an animal pack, and release on the 11th. Honestly though a release of the 4th could go either way at this point, Animal Pack or Scenery Pack.

I just hope whatever it is, it will knock out at least one of four animals in my signature. I've gotten really lucky with that so far...but we'll see. An Avian and Island Pack won't do that, but I'd be thrilled anyways because they'd likely knock out several other of my top 10. A Petting Zoo/Farm pack would not do that either, I don't know, but I can see the theme.

I don't know what to expect, in December I didn't expect a armadillo, also it could really be anything.
We'll see what they'll do in general and what the theme/design stream will be


For peccary I would buy it, but please don't. I already prefer it without feathers

I'd swap out the quail and opposum for a roadrunner and white nosed coati. You can't pass put a Coyote and a roadrunner in a pack together. also peccary is the only NA animal that feels essential rn so I'd take the coati for some SA rep too.

They're a firm #2 for me, and probably my most wanted animal that I actually expect to get in (not feeling terribly optimistic about raccoon dogs at this moment, but it's also not impossible to see them both in the same Islands Animal Pack...)

I know what you mean. I've been able to do like half of the grasslands animals which is fine. Still haven't made a wombat habitat from twilight though so I gotta get around to these things at some point.

Hey! Opposum are awesome! They're North America's only marsupial! And I do believe you are forgetting a member of the roadkill crew... the only thing lamer than a white tail deer... I speak of course of the ground hog... marmot some may call it... dirt pig if you wanna be funny.

I think the prairie dog fills its roafkill niche lol. Honestly I think every continent should get at least 3 roadkill animals. Add in a rabbit for Europe, a Possum for Oceania, you see what I'm getting at.
