It is interesting to see how a few races with the BRC can change the way you fly.
Until recently, I was an almost fully automated pilot - SCA, ADC - the only exception were planetary landings out in the wild.
And now?
Now I don't need the automation anymore. My approaches and landings still might be a little fumbly at times, but I have built up enough confidence to be able to push through these inconveniences.
What helped me a lot in this regard is the
EDCopilot, which, amongst many other features, can announce you the location of the landing pad on all enclosed stations and read out loud the pad number on outposts. Haven't tried terrestial stations, yet, but that is on my agenda to just wing it and see what happens.
Most of my ships will definitely lose their SCA and ADC modules. Only the Heart Of Gold will keep hers, as she is more of a memento than an often used ship. And the Stargazer, which is my material collector, will keep the SCA module, as it is a little tiring to fly from one signal source to the next - and I can use that time to scan some ships that get in my way...
