So if this is the last pack, what do people need it to have to be happy with it?
I'd honestly be fairly happy with an eight animal + scenery pack, even though it can't really complete the zoo roster, but realistically speaking no reasonable amount of animals really can.

Theme wise my preference goes to one final zoo oriented pack, with a bunch of animals that are wanted by the community/iconic or common in zoos; and a collection of more zoo oriented scenery. Calling the pack a "Zookeepers Collection Pack" or something like that.

Animal wise I'd personally like to see:
  • Ring-tailed coati
  • Pallas's Cat
  • Pacific Walrus
  • Red-legged Sierema/ Secretary bird (either are fine)
  • Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo
  • Musk ox/ Wild Yak (either are fine)
  • Golden Lion Tamarin
  • Jackson's Chameleon/Forest Cobra (either are fine)
The wild yak/musk ox and the pallas's cat are mostly on the list because of how good Frontier has gotten at shaggy fur recently, so I genuinely want to see them tackle those animals. A baboon is also on my list, but I just prefer tamarins over them so that's why they didn't make the cut.

Scenery wise I want a last shot at some real zoo items. I still feel like there's a lot to be added in terms of scenery that isn't in the game yet and that the majority of that scenery is not themed.

  • A gridded chainlink/mesh set
  • Habitat mud walls
  • Animal birthday cake enrichment (meat, fruit, hay)
  • Some more zookeeper items like training items
  • Pieces to make glass domes
  • Piano wire fence
  • Animal gates (open and closed)
  • ...

I'd be alright with the scenery of the pack itself being more limited in numbers, if the majority of it is unique and it's compensated by giving us signs of all the remaining animals in the style we've gotten ever since the Wetlands pack.

I’m really curious to see how this will all turn out. On one hand I agree with what was previously stated, the frontier team has shrunk and the final dlc will probably be only 8 animals and scenery. I also think everyone is scrambling for more animals to be added before support ends. Latin America/ South America deserves to be focused on, but that would shaft a lot of people. A worldwide pack would seem fitting, but 8 slots isn’t a lot to work on. If it’s more than 8 animals then South America should have more focus.

I really have no idea how this is gonna go, unfortunately I don’t think Frontier will be able to meet our expectations. Hopefully this will be the best pack ever and everyone loves it! But I bet that it’s gonna split people, as a lot of animals won’t make the cut. Especially as Frontier had some internal shifting and layoffs, they probably don’t have the manpower to really wow us. Unless the dlc is being pushed out for the end of May, and they have 5 months to work on it. (Which is my best case scenario in my opinion)

I’m curious to see how this is gonna play out, I just think that a lot of people won’t be as happy as they would be. Or hopefully I am wrong and we are all excited and fall in love with the pack,

Perhaps the most far fetched request out there but yet, it would be so worth it. I want this one just as much as a spider monkey.

If we did get a LA pack and there was no time / work restrictions, my roster would be
  • Brazilian Porcupine
  • Spider Monkey
  • Golden Lion Tamarin
  • White Faced Saki
A very odd roster, but this would be the best of any pack for me.
Yeah I’d be absolutely thrilled to get it. But recognizing the priority should be the coati and Primates that will also take a good bit of work. It’s also not that heavily requested so it’s not like the Crested Porcupine situation, but would take a lot of work that ultimately wouldn’t justify its inclusion.

Oddball inclusions are great but they shouldn’t eat up the work effort when there’s other more priority animals that would need that effort. Oddballs for Latin America could be a feline that’s not the Ocelot, the Bush Dog, the Tayra, or a Pacarana.

On the whole new types od porcupines are probably the most work intensive mammals i can think of what with the quills. An old world porcupine wouldn’t be that hard now since we have a rig with quill designs that would be similar though.

We haven't even had an ostrich clone yet, all the other ratites have quite distinct animation sets from the ostrich, especially in the way they move. Rhea would be the first significant reuse of the ostrich rig after all these years, although they'd also have to modify things like the way the wings are positioned. It'd be our third plains-dwelling ratite, but in a game with a billion ungulates I hardly see how that's the most egregious thing, especially given it fills a unique and important niche for South America (both through being a ratite and a large plains-dwelling herbivore in general).
Thanks You.

Rheas are essential and basic for true SA representation.

Respect the rheas 🤣

So if this is the last pack, what do people need it to have to be happy with it?
Focus on South América. At the nare minimun coati, monkey and rhea. Mara is pretty important for.me as well so it's exclusión would dissapointed me greatly but i understand is perhaps the less like it in to make it out of those.

Another thing it will make me happy is if it includes a pelican and it is possible in a SA pack.

If it is a larger pack with all over the world animals but wirh a BIG Focus on SA i can be happy as well.

It also needs more than one bird, preferible more than 2.

I have to agree with this, as I also posted in the other thread (Making your Finale Pack).

My animal list would be common zoo animals, something like this:
  • Great White Pelican
  • Squirrel Monkey
  • African Dwarf Goat
  • South American Coati
  • Grey Crowned Crane
  • Hamadryas Baboon
  • Patagonian Mara
  • Reticulated Python/Chameleon (or another common exhibit reptile)

For items, I'd love to see horizontal wood walls, some new stone/tile textures, and perhaps rock/mud walls like you'd have in reptile houses.

Also, I'd love to have more basic path textures (preferably flexicolour), and triangular shapes of things like glass/mesh/plaster pieces.
