Spring 2024 DLC Speculation

If it’s a scenery pack there’s no reason for all the ungulate doom posts - we usually don’t get ungulates in scenery packs - at least the recent ones.

I never said they didn’t have their own problems, but the “not another 4 ungulates pack” comments over and over aren’t justified if it’s a scenery pack cause we haven’t gotten a lot of them other than the pig which I think 1 is fine and not overboard. Twilight and Oceania didn’t have any, yes they have lots of carnivores but no ungulates.

Also seems like JWE2 is saying their news is pretty exciting - honesty more interested in what this could be rather than PZ cause we already know PZ has DLC news, but what could JWE2 news be?

Yeah but were no real options for them in these packs. Oceania just straight up doesnt have any aside from domestics and while there are plenty of ungulates that are active at dawn an dusk none of them really fit the spooky halloween theme

Well with a possible tease and announcement inbound it is truly time for final predictions!

Come one, come all! Place your bets on the table! The game is simple, for every prediction made right you get 1 point! The person with the most points wins! You can also double, triple, or quadruple down on predictions! You will get bonus points if you are right. If you are wrong however, you will lose points! If you don’t double, triple, or quadruple down you will not lose points if you are wrong. High risk, high reward.

An example:

1. Prediction 1: we will get a bird
2. Prediction 2: we will get a monkey (double down)

If I get both right I got 3 points! If I got prediction #1 right, but #2 wrong I would be at -1. If I got both wrong though, I am at -2 points.

You can be as safe or as crazy as you want to be. This is the final call for last spring 2024 DLC predictions! Place your bets on the table!

1. It'll be a scenery pack
2. The theme will be related to the Americas (probably CA)
3. No birds but one monkey
4. The update will not include any "major" features other than QoL and bug fixes

Despite the ungulate hostile environment here I still count on at least couple of them.

Of course I want birds and monkeys but let’s be honest - nearly every pack needs some easy to make species like ungulates.

Im at a point where there are only a very select few ungulates that i wouldnt be annoyed by if they make it into the final pack.
There are plenty of other options for easy to make animals besides ungulates and a pile of rigs never reused.
I have nothing against them in a vaccum. I just think that pampering one group of animals like this while others have to scramble for the scraps stinks.

I Am Surprised We Haven't Gotten Clones Of Certain Animals Still. We Don't Have Another Peafowl, Giraffe, Habitat Tortoise, Elephant, Seal Or Sea-lion To Name A Few.

I don’t think I’m ever annoyed by the new content, especially with the current quality. My least favorite pack is probably Oceania, I never use these animals and personally I would never choose them for the regular DLC. But they’ve obviously made a lot of people happy, plants and building pieces are amazing and the overall quality is super high.

I agree, but I also think a small ungulate like the Reeves Muntjac or Kirk’s Dik Dik is pretty important
