Maybe is an upcoming features for the next update
Idk might be some glitch and that's it we'll see if anything related is mentioned in the next update.
How is it relevant?
How is the most demanded animal to be revised, super important to so many players, but then it was silently updated a few updates ago, not relevant?
They never mentioned it in the announcement of the update 1.16 (although it was mentioned in the launch post) I think a better example would be the clouded leopards weird jumping mechanics being fixed last update with no notice that it had been fixed.
Then they apparently broke the clouded leopard again last patch lol
Malayan tapir definitely has nothing to do with term silent update.

It's going swell. I think everybody's in the same boat; I honestly think that, unless it's North America 4, people will be happy with whatever we receive
I've seen 1 post saying it's broken and another thinking it is but voicing concern for the first post but no one has actually confirmed it by testing it out. So might be, might not be. Maybe someone who has the patience can test out the leopard at some point.
Let's hope so or the latest news to discuss is boring patch notes for 1.16
I think they could do a tease or update reveal tomorrow and announce the pack on Tuesday or Wednesday morning - but who knows at this point lol.
Are those console players? It very well could still be broken on console, since they don't have 1.16 yet. Just like they still got black and white Baird's tapir.
Yeah could be, they never said what platform they were playing.
I'm honestly feeling really bad for console players at this point. A smorgasbord of bugs, glitches, and misbehaving animals

And Frontiers say they'll add all DLCs to console by next year March...
