Sure, but we don’t need an official second leopardI can use leopard mods, but the amur leopard don't do it for me as a stand in for Indian leopards.
Not in a DLC that's for sure, and also not for out last anniversary animal either (if we do get any at all this year). But i agree a tropical leopard should be in base game for PZ 2.Sure, but we don’t need an official second leopard
Depends how big the roster is, because jwe2 hardly got any new species, and we definitely need birds and monkeys than a tropical leopardNot in a DLC that's for sure, and also not for out last anniversary animal either (if we do get any at all this year). Play in sandbox with animal temperature needs turned off.I agree but I also feel like they owe us a legitimate leopard in addition to the dlc animals. I will be just as mad if we get another leopard subspecies as one of the last dlc slots as I would be of we didnt. I just think its ridiculous to only have a leopard that hates grasslands and tropical biomes and it should have been added a long time ago, ideally in the base game
Birds and monkeys Will come in DLCs. I doubt they will add a bunch more than the ones we already have in base game.Depends how big the roster is, because jwe2 hardly got any new species, and we definitely need birds and monkeys than a tropical leopard
I do play in sand box. And mainly only sand box. It just doesn't work for me visually. For starters i don't think the official amur leopard looks the best that it could, but it also doesn't look enough like a tropical leopard for me to use it as such. And the remasters only makes it look even more like the amur hahaPlay in sandbox with animal temperature needs turned off.
But even then, indian and africans are literally not found in zoos. That would be the same level of dumb as the rare breeds in the barnyard pack of other, better subspecies/breeds being right there for the taking, in this case the sri lanka leopardI can use leopard mods, but the amur leopard don't do it for me as an stand in for Indian leopards.
For Indian i meant a tropical leopard. I was just thinking that my Indian sections were lacking a leopard hahaBut even then, indian and africans are literally not found in zoos. I dont want to play sandbox. I really only play sandbox for testing or building if I really need the infinite budget. I really enjoy having the sense of progression and continuity from being able to transfer my animals between zoos and trade with other players online.Play in sandbox with animal temperature needs turned off.
Indian or African would work for me because they both live in Grassland/Tropical environments so they could fill in for each other unlike the stupid siberian leopard....but yeah Id still be mad if they wasted one of the last slots on a reskin and I will be mad when they inevitably leave out the most dangerous solitary terrestrial predator in Africa. For Indian i meant a tropical leopard. I was just thinking that my Indian sections were lacking a leopard haha
But even then i don't care if an animal is not found in captivity. It never has been an issue for me. I mean i want things like the kakapo just because i like the animal haha
So i would like an african or Indian leopards for the same reason. I just recognize is not a priority not worth a waste of a slot in a DLC or for the anniversary.
Because I only play franchise so I can keep my animals when switching zoos and amur leopards hate thorn acacias and I really need an african leopard to be happy up in that specific kind of tree because its iconic.Well again, why cant you just use the amur leopard?
There are exactly 3 zoos in europe and a single zoo on cuba that still keep african lions in europe and NA, so you most likly have never even seen an african leopard in a zoo, same for indian whose kept in 2 european and 0 north american zoos.
70+% of leopards in captivity are amur leopards, the rest are mostly the different chinese subspecies and a few others like the persian or srilanka leopard.
If youve never ever encounter an african ir indian leopard in a zoo, but do see lots of leopards which most likly are amur leopards, in many different themings, why would you want an african or indian leopard in game when even real zoos are substituting them in their africa and india sections with other asian leopards?
We deserve a second leopard in the base game.Sure, but we don’t need an official second leopard
I'm on console so mods will unfortunately not be an option for me.I do play in sand box. And mainly only sand box. It just doesn't work for me visually. But like i said. I'm good with mods for other leopard subspecies.
I literally dont care where its from as long as it likes the same biomes as a typical leopardBut even then, indian and africans are literally not found in zoos. That would be the same level of dumb as the rare breeds in the barnyard pack of other, better subspecies/breeds being right there for the taking, in this case the sri lanka leopard
Theres no issue in putting the amur leopard in franchise into an african themed enclosure. You can controll the heat with coolers and the vegetation has next to no effect on animal happyness, its just very misleading tbh. Just put the animal on a higher food quality and you completly outdone the few percent malus from the foliage and even get some to spareBecause I only play franchise so I can keep my animals when switching zoos and amur leopards hate thorn acacias and I really need an african leopard to be happy up in that specific kind of tree because its iconic.
Real leopards irl dont care about what species their trees are because they are big dumb kitties and not botanists like all the animals in pz apparently are lol. Real animals dont even care if the plants are real as long as they have some they can eat if they are of the herbivorous persuasion.
I just dont enjoy sandbox, playing under (realistic/sensible/logical) constraints is fun for me while taking breaks to be creative at the same time and without them I just get bored. Its useful for experimenting and testing but I dint find it fun usually.
Vegetation definitely lowers their welfare. My lemurs are at like 99% because I put one baobab tree in their heavily foliated enclosure which they hate even though most species are native to madagascar and the model in the game counts as both of the other species of baobab...also lets not even go into the Ringtailed Lemurs real biome....like I know as much about plants as I do about animals so I cant just throw whatever trees in their and call it a day...lol you have no idea how many compromises Im making on plant species in this game already :,) ....some regions are just absolutely unrecognizable to me because of the lack of available plants that actually grow in the region (fyi the zoopedia is a liar when it comes to plants)Theres no issue in putting the amur leopard in franchise into an african themed enclosure.
