I'm sticking with highlands. When I first saw it I thought Highlands instantly. Sure, it isn't the best representation, but is it really the best way to represent a celebration pack? I think if it is, it's super misleading.

Honestly the celebration aspect of the key art being just to do with the anniversary I could see if they are dropping it all at around the same time but I'm still not really too convinced. Still 99% sure it's a mountain animal pack.

We know that the free stuff's dropping in the same update that adds the new DLC pack (i.e. sometime before November 5th). I'd bet good money that release day ends up being October 22nd.

Highlands could make sense even with the lack of obvious mountains... Think of the top of a giant plateau is still relatively flat. And the highlands of various areas are still covered in trees. Idk if its highlands sometimes I think it is sometimes I think it isn't.

I'm gonna be sad if the exhibit animal is substituted for pieces again. Yeah yeah I know pieces are more useful than an animal in a giant box but I just want more cool little guys.

I think they're gonna axe the scenario this time. We know the free update has an "Anniversary Challenge", so I think they're just giving that to us for free this time. My thinking is 7 habitat animals, 5 exhibit animals, and however many building pieces.

I got to be honest, remove the animals and I couldn’t tell this was a mountain themed pack. Eurasia’s art looks more like a mountain pack.

I think the "they put all the highland animals of the pack in the key art for the sake of logic and scene" makes very little sense when we consider that the sea lion was on the NA pack key art, despite the art taking place in what looks like the middle of a taiga.

Exactly! I think Highlands is possible ish but Mountains (as a name) is almost certainly ruled out!

How should I understand the word "uninspired" to describe animals?Also, most people who want yaks want wild yaks, not domesticated yaks. There are only two zoos in the world that raise wild yaks, and the number of people on this forum who have seen them can be counted on one hand.How can they be seen everywhere?

I genuinly think regarding the fact that only the domestic is an actual zoo animal and most people not even knowing that their are wild yaks its pretty save to say that its the other way around with people wanting a yak actually meaning the domestic the bast majority of the time

Yeah. As much as I want Tanuki I hope its not Asia too. Also, the AFRICAN Leopard as update wouldn't make sense with Asia...

So my thought on World Animal Day is maybe we get the next set of 3 animals - if it's a wrap up type of pack. Again gonna go with Highlands/Birds/Latin America/Tundra (and king/Indian Cobra to get us to 200 animals, 201 with the Leopard)- not necessarily in that order of reveal though.

Also showing us one set of 3 animals a week, would put us to having the last set revealed the week of workdays Oct 14-18, perfect timing for a Oct 22nd release or maybe the 29th at the latest.

Mara, Howler Monkey, Coati for Latin America - would've said Ocelot but I'm thinking maybe we wouldn't get 2 cats in one pack.
Secretary Bird, Pelican, Duck for Birds (possibly replace Pelican or Duck with the Rhea)
American Black Bear/Spectacled Bear, Walrus, Muskox for Tundra

Leaves out the Tree Kangaroo but that means we get almost every single long standing top tier requests (walrus, howler, Baboon, S. Bird, Muskox, Coati)

The dictionary words indicate South America's being neglected regardless of outcome unfortunately...

We have 188 animals including the African leopard. The most amount of animals Frontier's ever added in 1 DLC pack is 12 (Grasslands). Repeat that scale and we hit exactly 200.
