The way the willow trees move is just... wrong

I just tried to place some of the willow trees. I know there is supposed to be leaf movement in the wind but these have branches that undulate unnaturally and it's creepy in a BAD way. It does not look right. The is especially obvious on the medium one which seems like it's supposed to be put over water. Thick branches don't move like that. Please fix this it's really really wrong.

If you want to see what I mean...

I haven't touched the game since I saw that. It's just to messed up and I don't have faith it's going to succeed long term at this point. Why am I even still posting here?
I didn't either. Because of all the wrong things. I'm waiting until the free updates fix the game at the state it should be. Then if it is better I'll play again.

Like many you probably can't help but hold onto the faith and possibility that the game will be fixed up because we love the franchise so much and our hearts are broken by the shocking vomited up sequel we got. This game is like a cat that's never seen Planet Zoo vomited up an alpha PC1 with waterparks in.

Many people haven't played PC2 as much (because of frustration) and therefore there probably is an unknown amount of issues which haven't been explored yet.

I'm pretty sure that fixing all this will take a couple of updates...

So this is my first time seeing this and I thought I was watching a video of some alien or maybe newly discovered see creature... not...a tree. I mean, what, that's just appalling in how horrible.. I don't even have words. The more I dive through these posts by the community the more irritated I am at how far backwards things have gotten with this latest title. I've still been trying to force myself to try to figure out other things with this game that I haven't even gotten to the point of adding scenery like vegetation and trying to make a nice park. I think.. think... I finally understand how the new ride prestige/reputation system works.. but not completely of course. ....S'posed to be a tree... PFFFFFTT!

I didn't see anything mentioned about vegetation animation improvements in the changelog today... is this still a thing? I probably won't have time to open PC2 til this weekend at the earliest but will say I'm happy to see the large volume of fixes and improvements.

Update: So i managed to load up the game and check and the answer is no, the plants are still wonky as ever in their movements. And I did look at the Date Palm Small as mentioned above and oh my... felt like I was witnessing the soul of a tree trying to escape it's digital prison hell only to constantly be sucked back into it with no reprieve. I could only wonder in horror what evils that tree did in another game life to deserve such a fate.

Maybe the one that made the nice gentle swaying motions of the plant life in Planet Coaster that felt so much more... unspooky and genuinely accurate to you know.. actual plantlike motions... can be brought back to the dev team to program the good movements we all are craving. So many details persist that just ruin the immersion experience and take away the joy of playing this game for me. At least this latest update was quite expansive in fixes and changes that it has inspired some hope for me of what the rest of this year might bring.

So, I am starting to get back into the game again and let me tell you, the foliage movement is sometimes absolutely unacceptable. In which world do tree trunks wobble like jelly cake and why did THIS get through quality control?

I understand redoing every animation would be very cost intensive (though we did pay a premium price for the game, so it should have premium quality, but whatever...)
A less cost intensive method would probably be to make movements of plants toggleable, if that is something that could be programmed in. The way it is now, it's just not sustainable.

i think the most annoying part is the missing consistency, for me i dont like the wobble, but this i can ignore, but having a smaller tree swaying like a flag and then a tall long tree just some gentle push, this gets me every time.

The ability to turn it off would be a dream!
