Guess it't this time of year again
Here's my list:
  1. Coconut Crab (As a habitat animal, it would be completely unique)
  2. King cobra (I know, but think it could work as a habitat animal, and a habitat snake would be awesome)
  3. Green Anaconda (Same as above)
  4. Nile Crocodile (African crocodile, also an iconic species)
  5. Golden Pheasant (A pheasant)
  6. Radiated tortoise (Small habitat tortoise)
  7. Greater Roadrunner (Unique species)
  8. Walrus (Unique and iconic species)
  9. Leopard Seal (Unique and iconic species, antarctic predator)
  10. Helmeted Guinea Fowl (Boring, but needed ground fowl)
  11. Mountain Hare (Unique species)
  12. Squirrel Monkey (Boring monkey from South America, and an iconic species)
  13. Ocelot (South American Small cat)
  14. Secretary Bird (Unique and iconic species)
  15. Crab eating Macaque (Boring monkey from Asia)
  16. Manteled guereza (Boring (ish) monkey from Africa)
  17. White faced Saki (Monkey diversity from SA)
  18. Harbor Seal (Seal diversity)
  19. Palawan Peacock-pheasant (Another beautiful pheasant)
  20. Painted terrapin (Same as the snakes, but this one is more realistic with current in-game systems)
  21. Great White Pelican (Unique species)
  22. Red-legged Seriema (Unique species, more SA representation)
  23. Marabou Stork (Interesting wading bird)
  24. Spider Monkey (Unique and iconic species)
  25. Howler Monkey (Unique and iconic species)
Places 26-35 I consider "group additions", as I think both groups need more than one species to be included rightly. I don't think any of these species essential by them selves, but the groups being represented is. I view these like the butterflies, where we would get 3-5 species in a single DLC slot, giving us the opportunity to create a certain type of habitat instead of a single species to create a habitat for. After the initial inclusion, more species could come individually, but the first time I think 3-5 are needed.
Ducks:
26. Mallard (The most essential duck in my opinion)
27. Harlequin Duck (another duck)
28. Mandarin Duck (another duck)
29. White-faced whistling Duck (another duck)
30. Surf Scoter (another duck, this one is the wildcard)
Tiny Monkeys:
31. Common Marmoset (An essential inclusion as a "boring" filler species)
32. Emperor tamarin (Funny mustache)
33. Cotton-top tamarin (Funny hair)
34. Golden lion tamarin (Iconic species)
35. Red-handed tamarin (Filler species)
I would also like pheasants to be included in this way, but I think they stand on their own better for a variety of reasons and have therefore included them in the main list.

I am getting kind of tired of getting the same types of animal over and over, and the packs don't ever really invent anything new (except barnyard but that was a theme I didn't really care for). My requested species are mostly either filling a niche not yet covered, or they would bring something new to the game either through technical innovation or just being unique. At this point, I feel like most inclusions only create a false illusion of depth in the roster instead of actual depth. Giving us more species, but no new challenges in habitat-building doesn't really advance the game enough in my opinion. This is why I mainly want animals that fills a new role or comes with some new technical challenge.

I really don’t have many animals left I’d like to see in the game, so this will be a short and sweet list.

1. Muskox
2. Eurasian Brown Bear
3. Iberian Wolf
4. Gelada
5. Yak (prefer domestic, any will do)
6. Pére David’s Deer

21. Southern Rockhopper Penguin
22. Pacific Walrus
23. Sea Otter

25. Barbary Macaque

I can honestly say these are the only (wild) animals I vaguely want. Domestics are another story, but I’m happy we even got ANY to begin with.

I know there are other animals out there much more interesting than these, but that’s why it’s a personal wish list. If I could, I’d want everyone’s favourites in game.
