Absolutely not necessary.
Construction of coriolis, it is about 75-77 trips by cutter. If the purchase station is not far, the purchase and sale route is 10-12 minutes.
Then mathematics will tell you that this is about 15-16 hours if you only engage in this activity.
If there are 3-4 people, the coriolis is built in one evening![]()
I started building a base in the asteroid last night, there are exactly the same amount of resources needed, now I'm loading the carrier with the remaining resources for the second time, I'm doing everything alone.Absolutely not necessary.

how ? nothing working yet here. do you have to log in some specific way?Looks Fixed now![]()
They are looking into it.Same issue, lost my system including my 3 orbital and 1 planetary installations in it. The game says it's a regular, occupied system now.
I have a lot of systems around me. I did not wait for the SMM, took how much was available, loaded others and flew away.ONLY if you have close systems with commodities.
Everyone else log off this forum, the Internet has been won!Commanders salty about having to trade in space in a space trading game
Yes, that's for sure. Coriolis and the asteroid base are not a problem. I agree with you.I started building a base in the asteroid last night, there are exactly the same amount of resources needed, now I'm loading the carrier with the remaining resources for the second time, I'm doing everything alone.
Ha! We should be able to set the profit at the colonisation ship so people only benefit from the delivery of material, rather than getting rich buying materials from your fleet carrier and using them for their own effort. You know what, guys? I take my words back about paying people to unload to colony ship. I set up a trade to unload aluminium and titanium to colony ship for the highest profit haul possible, and people spit on that. I lost 5k worth of cargo, and its not even the rare CMM composites.
Either FDev comes up with a way to do some sort of contract to make people not steal, or NPC haulers. No, I don't care about the whole player economy anymore. Or FDev should do the alternative of other ways to progress on the construction than space trucking.
What could work is rather than increasing the construction radius, allow the possibility of starting new bubbles away (still having a radius constriction of 15ly or something). That way, cmdrs can venture out into the black and start new colonies. There should be a trade-off though, for those abilities, you should need more materials to start afresh elsewhere.
OOO OH MY GOD! I just finished building Coriolis and I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! DO IT YOURSELF! You are crazy if you think this kind of "Colonization" is good content.т.

Don't forget that there's even more hauling if you want to build planetary settlements/installations in the system. This is one of the worst gameplay designs I've ever seen in my gaming career. I asked several friends if they would return to the game to build some stations, but none is interested in another grind fest. I decided to try it myself and good grief...Seconded. Only having Hauling as an option to build stuff will drive some people to quit the game or take weeks long break from stress, boredom, exhaustion. We need more options to build stuff.
Seconded. It's shallow game design to only have hauling as an option. Many people want to be the Architect, not part-time haulers.
To be honest, planetary settlements are mostly 5-10K resources, so not too bad. With the exception of the tier 3 port which is even more resource-consuming than an Ocellus, but that is fitting when looking at the benefits that tier 3 port gives.Don't forget that there's even more hauling if you want to build planetary settlements/installations in the system. I play Euro/American Truck Simulator, I enjoy playing a courier, but not like this. It's incredibly shallow in ED, this game right now offers nothing but endless grinding. These devs look like they don't have other vision to keep players occupied.
That's both reassuring and worrying at the same time. They are looking into it.

I am aware that they require less resources, but my point stands. Once you finish your station, you will be hauling even more. It's an Asp Scout that is flying, at least, and not as a smoking wreck on a planetary surface. Look at the bright side. That's both reassuring and worrying at the same time.
Reassuring because they are working on it, but the picture of an Asp Scout, in the context of fixing something, feels ominous.![]()
Appears is everything working now again.
Finished delivering, have my new Coriollis port.
I keep being System Architect. Everything looks fine. For now!.
I have a lot of systems around me. I did not wait for the SMM, took how much was available, loaded others and flew away.
And now there are no problems with CMM.
That's why I said, if not far.
My carrier stands still, I fly only on a cutter and sometimes on a T8.
Another thing is that while I fly a mule, I am stupid from this monotonous stupid work
