It only happens using remote management as far as I can tell… at least, away from the carrier. I’ve used the management when docked (using the carrier services) or while walking around its interior with the on foot widget(circular menu thingy) but there the volume is normal.

I do would appreciate not blasting out my eardrums and risking to wake up the entire household (if it is later at night) because I want to move the thing without being docked.

Bug Report

Disembark Option still unavailable from carrier hangar.

Player needs to return the ship to the 'surface' (upper deck) of the Carrier in order to get the 'Disembark' option, at which point the ship returns to the hangar and disembarks the player on foot.

Relogging has no effect

This bug has been around, on and off, for a couple of years. Please fix it; it is annoying.

You want to know the cause of it? Carrier parked around a very high gravity planet, which exceeds the rating where you can step out of your ship/SRV. Even if it is non-landable.

That’s my observation of it, certainly.
